Well, where do I start Bought the thing on Jan 15th and Feb 9th no hot water. This has the on demand tankless hot water heater. Called and paid for Good Sam service to come out and check it out. Well, they needed to order a part and come back at a later date to install it. So now we are showering in the bath house at the campground. this goes on for months of replacing different part until they decided to replace the who unit. So, we are excited that we are finally going to be able to shower in our new camper again. WRONG Does not work. Now we are going on 6 months and still no hot water. I am starting a different job in Georgia and have a service tech come out to look at it there and he said he fixed the issue. WRONG Now we are in NC and had a service tech come out and replaced the regulator and not fixed. checked everything and is stumped. Not the exterior water house starts leaking in the wall. Tech ordered parts and came back at a later time and fixed that. A month later we have no heat. Called a service tech and he came out was here the whole day troubleshooting. Well, he said that he was glad to be there as the unit could have caused an explosion, so he took the unit to his shop to bench test it. It ran all day perfect in his shop, so he returned with the operating unit. Mind you it is 0 degrees out and now we have to worry about the water lines as well as keeping ourselves warm. Installed the unit and bam not working. So the Lady from Keystone Amber (true angel) ended up giving him permission to bypass the original thermostat and install a separate t-stat and guess what does not work. So here we are again with no heat on these winter days and nights. As of today, the heater is still at the techs shop and he is waiting for parts. Since I am saying all this, I guess I will add that the kitchen counter on the island the laminate is all coming off around the sink bowl. The heat in the one recliner does not work. I already had to fix some of the wood trim on the slide outs as it just fell off on both ends. I have never had this issue with the old camper I traded in, and it was a Coleman. I thought hey we buy a new camper and we will have something nice. That was a joke I should of took 65,000.00 and gave it to a charity or a homeless guy. Overall, this has been the worst decision I have ever made in my life. I really would like to take this back to the dealer and get something different. Poor workmanship and quality of materials used in this camper is bottom of the barrel. I will never buy anything that has a keystone name on it as they could care less about all this. Amber Gardner at least offered to pay for us to go get a space heater however a space heater for this big space would do nothing. This should really be taken back under the lemon law and I am really thinking about looking into having this matter looked at further. Oh and by the way there is still a problem with the tankless hot water have to turn it on multiple times before you can get it to work. SO BAD Show less

If you are considering purchasing a KZ RV, I strongly suggest hiring a professional technician to perform a thorough inspection for hidden manufacturing defects. Our unit had incorrectly installed window seals that caused water intrusion into the walls and flooring. This defect was only discovered through an extensive investigation during attempt to resell, as it required removing the window trim to notice. Despite a third-party service center confirming the unit was manufactured improperly, KZ has declined responsibility because the two-year warranty has expired. They cite a maintenance schedule requiring seal inspections every three months, even though the defect was internal and not visible through standard maintenance. Based on our experience, we have to disagree with their quality statement regarding unwavering craftsmanship and attention to detail. Please be very cautious if you are considering a KZ unit. Love the floor plan and livability. We changed out the pub seating and made the outside grill into a tool storage sliding shelf and doubles as a outside grill prep/grilling tool table. The separate spaces are nice to have - living, dining, awesome bath and nice bedroom with a great front closet. Workmanship is ok. If we wanted better we would have gone with a Gold - but works great for us. The under-storage is huge which is great for ladders and fishing rods. The huge 65” TV, fireplace, and living room is spacious and comfortable. We changed out the tires to 14 ply (G) and it is a very comfortable pull for the truck. We only wish there was a little more kitchen storage and slide out shelves for the pantry. With the “4” season insulation and the fireplace we can keep the camper warm to 70f even when it gets down in the low 40’s outside - without turning on the furnace and burning propane. The mattress needed to be changed out as the original is not good. Overall it has been good to us and we still love it after 4 seasons, 33 states, 2 provinces, and 26,000 miles. Show less

So far quality is really good. Have about 2500 miles on it with a few trips and no real issues. There were some loose screws on various cabinet doors. No leaks yet in plumbing or instant water heater. Solar, charge controller, no issues. Got rid of the lead acid battery that came with the unit and installed a 300ah lithium. Came from factory with 400 watts solar on the roof, may add 2 more panels. With current setup, could probably make it 2 days with cloudy days so I may also add another 300ah battery. Auto level has worked perfectly. The only annoying thing was the bedroom door and that has been removed, much better with no door. Needed slight adjustment on entry door latch. Seemed like door had to be slammed to close, removed factory striker place and installed a flat one from the hardware store. No other issues I can think of. Would highly recommend KZ Durango HT 232MLD. Best feature about this floor plan is that you can get to everything without putting any slides out. Awesome unit for overnight Walmart or Cracker Barrel stops. Exactly what I wanted this floor plan for. Show less

We bought the 5th wheel new in July. When we went through our walk through the slide wouldn't open, so we had to go back for a different walk through a few weeks later. Luckily for us, it was raining that day, because the bathroom skylight was leaking heavily, so we postponed again. When we got back to the dealer again for the walk through we water heater wasn't working, so again we postponed the walk through. Come to find out Keystone never wired the water heater... so we finally go to our walk through months later and the shore power didn't work. The socket wasn't wired properly.. so once again we left it at the dealer... so now we were pushing our Christmas in Arizona back because we were looking at mid-December for the walk through. All this time I was calling Keystone trying to get them off their hands and pay for the repairs. They did eventually, but it was months waiting.. Now, after our 4th camping trip the auto leveling system isn't working... Of course, it is out of warranty, because the 1 year warranty ended 4 months after we took possession of the camper. We are looking to upgrade now, but I will never buy another Thor (parent company) Product again, and won't even look at a Keystone. Show less

Love the layout. Overall construction quality is average. Several trim pieces have had to be replaced, table had to be screwed back in the wall after the first trip. Shower leaked from not being sealed properly. Cabinet construction is not the best. Tankless Water heater is too far from the shower and kitchen so it is a 20 second wait for water to heat up. However, the size of the unit and the overall layout are wonderful for a couples camper. Show less

Immediately after purchasing new last year the front cargo area filled with water and water leaked from the front window onto the bed. Took it back to the dealer (who has since been bought out during it;s bankrupcy) and they said factory did not seal it the front cap. This took 2 months to resolve. At the beginning of this season I had the roof inspected by a licensed tech and inspector and discovered the TPO membrane completely delaminating and bubbling. The RV dearler said roof needs replacement. KEYESTONE DENIED coverage multiple times. I still own the trailer, still using it and watching the TPO bubble off. Many other issues like water pump, on demand heater. This trailer is garbage. Show less

Fantastic quality, craftsmanship and design. We have no problems with the operation, mechanicals or construction of our KZ Durango. With a two year warranty the manufacturer stands behind their product. Solid plywood flooring, hardwood cabinetry and solid surface counter tops. Residential style appliances and comfortable seating make this an easy choice when it comes to selecting the best. Show less

We love this RV, we have 2 kids and the bunk space was perfect for them. There is also a lot of storage under the lower bunk. The kitchen has everything you need and big closet when you walk in the door. It also has a 2nd door in the bathroom so you can just come in from the outside and get right in the shower or to use the restroom without going in the rest of the camper. Ours had 2 AC units so keeping the camper cool was never a problem. Lots of space in the master as well. Overall great camper and we never had any issues. Show less

We looked at smaller RVs first but felt they would be too cramped for us. My priority was a large kitchen with lots of counter space and lots of storage throughout, which this model delivers! The large panoramic kitchen window allows whoever is working in the kitchen to enjoy the view. I love the skylight in the bathroom and all the light from the windows. The clothes storage is enough for a lady with a large four season wardrobe! In the colder weather is so cozy to sit in the recliners with built in massage or heated seat, in front of the fireplace and watch the big screen TV or listen to the radio. Whether it was below zero or above 100 degrees, we were always comfortable. We always kept the exterior and interior immaculate. Show less
