Very frustrated customer and many safety issues that were unacceptable as my family could have been killed! I would have paid a company to come check The trailer before I purchased it but Thomas and my sales rep said that your company goes through the coach thoroughly and checks everything. I reiterated MANY times that me, my wife and newborn are going to be living in the 5th wheel for about 6 months while we house hunt so we want to make sure everything is safe for our newborn. When I first got the 5th wheel home and went to wash it, I noticed the tires had cracks in them. I called Thomas immediately and sent him pictures and he was apologetic and approved purchase a new tires. So I had to go and spend my time and gas money to get them put on. Then the first time I dump the trailer the gray water and the black water valves were completely rotted and I could barely pull them open (meaning sewer water was everywhere). So I sent him pictures of that and he said he would pay for those as well.So I bought them put them on myself (again my time and gas money). They said the trailer was completely cleaned but when we moved the carpet there was so much sand everywhere, the blinds were also filthy. I had to send the company pictures of the bushings on the suspension they tried to say it wasn’t a safety issue but I’ve spoken to several shops that tell me it is a safety issue having the bushings rotted on a suspension part. Also while I was there picking up the trailer, I told him the air conditioners weren’t blowing very cold and one service guy blew me off said it was as cold it was going to get. Sebastian knew I was livid and said he would get another service rep to check it but I completely forgot to check it when I left, so both air conditioners still don’t blow as cold as it should. About 2 weeks in to having the trailer the batteries died so I had to spend my money to get new ones. The shop said if the service department would have checked them they would have seen they were shot. We had even asked to make sure the batteries were good before we bought it and were told yes. The water pump was always loud but we were told that was normal and about 2 weeks in to having the trailer it went out. So I had to buy a new one and replace it myself. About 1 week in we opened up the doors underneath the kitchen sink and it was completely flooded. We brought it back to the dealership to have them fix it because we were so fed up with all the problems. Also at the same time 3 parts of the water heater broke. They fixed the leak and water heater for us. When we had found the broken water heater we saw that the on/off button was broken. Again if they would have gone through the trailer they would have caught this, but have it to us with it broken. We also found that the inverter doesn’t work and we had to pay a mobile company to come out and fix it (because we live in it right now). The awning arms are bent so when we put it out it wobbles. Again they should have caught this. Last but not least that was the biggest safety issue and could have KILLED our family is that there was a propane leak. From day one I asked why we could smell propane inside the trailer but was told nothing was wrong. After a few days I decided to take a spray bottle with soap and water to see if I could find any leaks and I found it was leaking at the regulator so I googled the regulator to buy a new one and saw right away that there was a recall on it. So I called the manufacturer and they sent me a new one. We had to wait a week to get the new one, the whole time still smelling propane inside the trailer and trying to keep it aired out for our newborn. We were scared to sleep at night because it’s a silent killer. After replacing it, the inside of the trailer still smelled like propane. So I took the spray bottle again to the stove and took the stovetop off and then found a gas leak at one of the lines going to the burner. Clearly someone had tried to find a leak because there was a screw with a washer just laying there. If the service department would have done a pressure test they would have found that there was a leak and that the regulator wasn’t working. This could have killed me and my family and for that I’m furious. We were told they go through the RV completely to make sure it is safe and there are no issues but all of the stuff I have mentioned above happened within the first couple of weeks of owning the trailer. The safety issues are unacceptable and had any of us died from the gas leak they would have a major lawsuit on their hands. This has been the worst experience we have ever had with a dealership and we have owned about 8 RVs prior to this.
