We bought this pre owned tailer in 2023. It was in storage for 3 years and had minimal use, so it was a good purchase. The floor plan is perfect for couples because it has a residential sized queen bed and plenty of storage. We love the large window's in the rear dinette and the counter space is impressive for a 20' trailer. The only thing to look out for is roof leaks at each side of the rear roof corners. The best approach is to apply Eterna Bond tape because self leveling caulking will not last very long. In fact, its best to apply this tape at every roof joint for peace of mind and less maintenance. I'm a contractor and I honestly think this is a very well built trailer. If you buy a camper you have to have realistic expectations as they are subjected to extreme conditions that can lead to minor repairs and pre-mature maintenance. There are plenty of upgrades that can be done to improve overall quality.

We purchased our Keystone cougar 25RDS travel trailer five months ago just before the winter in the month of September. We have it on our property and are staying in it while we’re renovating our house and then we’re doing some traveling. We absolutely love the floor plan and so far the people have been very nice at camping world. I’m not able to give a complete rating on factory service warranty yet because we haven’t utilize them , so The three stars is irrelevant, but it prompted me to rate in order to move forward. the issue we have is the floor appears to be weak or very giving in several places which has us very concerned, especially since it’s brand new and and with a price tag approaching 50,000 I’m shocked. We also noticed the awning appears to have wrinkles, but I’m not too concerned about it. I will be contacting camping world about the floor. I will post a follow up review review to let you know how helpful they are in the matter.

We have owned this RV for three years and have had NUMEROUS craftsmanship flaws: 1. Rear blackout shade will not extend or retract Frame around window vent into an “m” shape with a screw in the middle and ends 2. Water leak in bedroom ceiling on awning side during a storm 3. Awning ripped and had to replace because the material was defective 4. Paper peeling off the particular board 5. All hinges are coming loose from kitchen cabinet doors 6. Dining area under storage doors are completely falling off 7. Glue on trim around the ceiling has run down the walls in the bedroom discoloring the trim 8. LED lights in kitchen and bathrooms have failed 9. USB ports over the bed do not work 10. The backsplash on the kitchen is coming off the wall 11. The window holding the blackout shade in the living room is coming off 12. Windows aren’t sealed causing cold and hot air to come through the gaps. 13. The sleeper sofa’s springs and bracket broke at first use. 14. Kitchen countertop’s marble finish is peeling from the wood and the sink is falling out This RV cost $66,000 and we did not get any support from the dealership or Heartland. I DO NOT recommend this RV to anyone! We are now stuck with all of these unnecessary repairs.

We love the floor plan and size of this 359. Where this unit loses its shine is in the poor workmanship. Missing or loose screws, the refrigerator poor mounted and supported by two screws and not leveled. Undercarriage has electrical wiring with no installation as they go through the chassis and wires have no excess wire for future repairs. Loose bolts on rear tailgate, missing screw on side latter and the list goes on. Im replacing steel screws that after just 4 months showing heavy rust and replacing them with stainless steel. Over the workmanship is just not there and sad we buy these things with regret months later.

This camper is an excellent option for anyone looking for a practical, comfortable, and well-designed trailer, even for those towing with a minivan, as long as the proper precautions are taken. It is especially appealing for people who want something easy to store, simple to winterize and protect, and still spacious enough inside to feel truly comfortable. What stands out most is how well it uses its compact size. Even though it has a relatively small footprint, it feels much more like a larger camper once you are inside. The interior height is one of its best features. Because of the shape and layout, the space feels open, comfortable, and surprisingly easy to move around in. Another major advantage is that you do not have to deal with tarps or the usual hassles that often come with protecting and storing other trailers. It offers a very practical solution for winter coverage while still giving you the feeling of owning a more substantial camper. For a trailer of this size, the features are impressive. It has air conditioning, which can be difficult to find in smaller units, and it also includes a solid hot water tank. In my case, because of the high elevation where I live, a tankless water heater would not really be a practical option, so having a traditional hot water tank is a real benefit. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the addition of an indoor shower. I believe that with just one or two extra feet in the floor plan, it could likely be incorporated. Even so, having an outdoor shower is still a valuable feature. I also think that adding a cassette toilet alongside a shower area would make this camper even more versatile and would be an outstanding upgrade. Overall, I think this is a wonderful camper. It offers a smart balance of size, comfort, and practicality, and for me, as a first camper, it has been a very satisfying purchase. I am genuinely happy with it.

I just got my 2026 campsite elite 36ak. Beautiful trailer 5th wheel with a list of problems that everyone should run away from. Don't waste your money! 118000 worth of problems. Here is a partial list can provide pictures and emails to prove. Windows leak snow and cold, floor repai done bad, fridge bracket does not fit so can lock when in travel, toilet wobble, frost comes through the walls not proper insulation, snow drifts on the floor, windows trim to hold them in was falling off, ac heat strips not there as was part of the deal, furnace not working proper , snow comes through the windows, power running through the pull out to me.a big fire hazard, seal not proper around pull outs and the list keeps going. We bought this at the Calgary rv show where the reps from forest river and rangelad told us how good of a fit this would be for us seniors. How warm it would be for us . We were there to get a good rv fit as a.fire destroyed our rv so with insurance we needed a new one . they knew of our predicament and just wanted a sale full of lies and miss representing it. They have our money. That is all that matters to them. Shame on.all of them and the ones who build these need to put a bit of effort into their products. A beautiful trailer that is worthless!

We purchased this unit used last year. The toilet in the back dumps into the grey tank that is the same rear tank for the bath sink, the washer hookup and the kitchen sink. That is so nasty. We contacted Forest river and they said they didn't know about it as it was a long time ago. We did several flushes with colored water to confirm this was correct. What a health hazard. Needless to say we will not be using the rear toilet. We flushed it out till it was clear. If you purchase a camper with rear bath, make sure it has a rear black tank.

We have owned our Weekend Warrior Road Warrior RWS-3400 for almost a year now, we camp in it on average 7 days of every month. We have put almost 7k miles on the rig, we purchased used and have had our share of service work, we were lucky to buy from a dealer and get an extended warranty, it is paying off. The construction is good, the quality of parts they put on and the design aspect was before its time. Weekend Warrior had dialed in on the Toy Hauler Trailers and picked an excellent platform for the motorhome, the Kodiak 5500.

Review for the 2021 Thor Chateau 24F: We purchased our 2021 Thor Chateau 24F, brand new right off the show room floor from LA MESA RV in La Mesa California. We had just retired and planned to travel the United States. We have now had the Motorhome for five years and it has only 8000 miles on it. 2500 of those miles was from transporting it to California. Not for the lack of trying to use it but for the continuous MANUFACTURES defects. First test run the coach electrical system failed on the first night at 2AM. We took it in after a 2 month wait to get into service. We were told it was because we didn’t charge the battery all the way. The service manager stated it takes at least 48 hours of being plugged in. We plugged it in and took it out again. Again, the coach died the FIRST night at 2AM. Took it back after waiting for an appointment. This time we were told the battery that came with the coach was defective and needed to be replaced. This is not covered under the NEW VEHICLE WARRANTY. We replace the battery and still the coach would not make it ONE night. We finally replace the electrical system to the tune of $4000 and every worked great. Next, the motorhome was bottoming out on EVERY dip in the road. The service Manager at La Mesa RV told us it was because the plumbing for black tank was too low and this is not covered. I took the motorhome over to Weldtech and they explained to me and showed me that the entire suspension was inadequate for this motorhome. They replaced it for $7000 dollars and now no more bottoming out. Long story short it has been one thing after another. Thousands of dollars replacing parts and system on this Thor Motorhome. LA MESA RV AND THOR Motors are absolutely NO help and so far NOTHING has been covered under the new vehicle warranty or the $7000 dollar extended warranty. I hope this review will keep some of the couples who work all their lives and wish to travel the US in a motorhome to STAY AWAY FROM LA MESA RV AND THOR MOTORHOMES. Thank you for reading this review and have a blessed day. One last thing, We just return from a trip we had to cut short because the slide out came off the track and now the slideout is crooked.
