We purchased a brand new 2022 Forest River Rockwood from Chesaco at the Hershey RV Show in 2021. Of course the model we wanted was not immediately available and had to be built at the manufacturing plant in Indiana. We specified we wanted our trailer delivered to Chesaco in Hamburg. We had no communication with Chesaco during the time we were waiting for it to be built until I contacted them several months later to find out if there was any news. They said I would be contacted when it was delivered. We finally received a call in August of 2022 from Chesaco in Maryland asking if we were told our trailer was delivered. I said I haven't heard a word from the Hamburg location. I contacted Chesaco in Hamburg and asked if our trailer was there and they said it was. In order for us to take delivery of our trailer we had to do an orientation. When we arrived the trailer was already opened up. They gave us a demo on the features and showed us how to close it up. This trailer has electric brakes which we never had a trailer that had those before. When we arrived home, we came up with a question about the electric brakes. Someone we know told us that we needed to have the trailer inspected because of the electric brakes. We contacted Chesaco to find out if we needed to have the trailer inspected because of this and never received a phone call back to this day. If this were the case, why wasn't it already inspected when we picked it up? No one ever contacted us later to see how we liked the trailer, if we had any questions about the trailer, or anything else. It's like we were forgotten about once they got our money. Very disappointing customer service. Would not recommend anyone go there to purchase a trailer unless you don't care about being forgotten about. Show less

I bought a wind jammer in February I live in baltimore md chesaco rv did nothing to help me find my tags for 3 months Ted the loan manager gave me a run a round scot the manager refused to talk to me help me finally after looking long and hard got someone in corporate and they did the run around when they knew we wasn't playing anymore suddenly my tags was over nite I just received them 5 18 22 630 pm I was getting an attorney to get my tags thats how bad it was also when we bought this unit they orderd wrong size hitch another run around I truly thought highly of these people but after doing business with them I will never recommend them for anything poorly ran receptionist nasty Scott the manager very hateful Ted not a good business man plz save yourself aggravation don't buy from chesaco rv once you sign your a nobody I never disrespected them I just wanted what I paid for I made 3 camper payments before I even got my tags Show less
