Simply love this trailer. Been living full time for over 5 years with no issues. Pulls great down the road and has all the luxury items I need. This unit is well made and shows little maintenance required after road trips. You can't go wrong with this unit. Show less

First of all I would say that My salesperson, whom I will name upon written request, was very helpful. Anything that I had happen to me that was in a positive way she was responsible for. She went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible during this whole experience. I have seen that Colton wants ONLY to sell to people 1 time, after that. do as you will, because they do not want you back, yes, they do not want repeat business, because they are doing everything, they can, to keep that from happening. The company does whatever they need to do to get you to sign the dotted line, and once the cash changes hands, you are nobody, it's that fast. I Bought a used unit that I do like, and when I found I had an issue where I could not drive it because of the fact that the air ride system failed, I was told to call the roadside assistance, which I did, and after 1/2 of a day, and nobody could help me the air suddenly began to work and I went right in. They could not find the problem and off I went just to have it happen again, this time they sent a fleet service out to me, and they fixed an air leak. While they were there, they proceeded to do the recall that was open on my RV. It had been open for quite a while as the fleet mechanic told me. How is it ok to sell a motor vehicle to someone that has an open recall on it, that is something else I am investigating. With all of this I thought that the cost of the service would be picked up by Colton as the problem should have been fixed when it was there the first time, and as it was a problem when I took delivery on it because it was only a couple of days after I drove it off the lot that this occurred. The second time I had the issue I called Roadside service, and they kept going to voicemail and I was wondering what kind of service Colton is selling to people that does not do anything close to what they are supposed to do in an emergency. Colton finally contacted the fleet service to come out to fix it. I'm afraid to go anywhere as I live out of town, and if I can't get roadside service to get anyone out to help me and I'm on the roadside what then? Colton makes you feel like you should have never ever went in there to buy anything. And again, what about that open RECALL. Show less

Well where to start. My rv spent more time in the shop in the first year then in my driveway or on a campsite. The quailty there is none this unit must have been put together by first graders. Who ever did the wiring did not know you need to crimp the wires in place. Plumbers or who ever did the water lines did not know that the hose clamps go over the male end of the pipe and not just the female end. The customer service manager is just as bad as the no experience workers in the factory. There moto is we do not make phone calls. I do not know how this company is still in buisness. Show less

Awesome camper that I lived out of for three years in Montana. I will miss it. The experience was like no other. My wife, my dog, and myself all made it together almost two years and allowed us to explore Montana while living cheaply and simple. Show less

Every single thing about our experience has been awful! Forest River should be ashamed of themselves for what they delivered. Everything came broken & over a year later they have not make it right! We spent over $100K for this trailer & it is a piece of GARBAGE!! My recommendation...DO NOT buy from Forest River!! Show less

I bought this RV new in Sep of this year, 2022. It is actually a 2023 model. Today is Nov 8th and after bringing it home a second time, the issues still exist on the RV side. Just a few things....a computer steering cluster module went out the second time driven. Crossroad Ford did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing, along with a faulty brake . booster. No ladder on the unit, the radio head unit is faulty and needs to be replaced, no call on the shower at all and worst of all, the RV continues to not recognize the parking brake and will not auto level or allow slide to operate. Closest dealer is over 3 hours away. Not a happy camper. In fact I've never even taken it camping as it has been in the shop pretty much from the week after I purchased. Show less

As the owner of a 2017 Forest River Cardinal Estate, aka the lemon, I am beyond frustrated. We purchased the unit, new , in July of 2017. Our maiden voyage the shower doors smashed into smithereens due to poor installation. We paid to have them fixed/replaced on site. Our rear windows were falling out, thanks to tape we got them home. Second trip, the roof peeled back. Third trip major crack bedroom slide. Last year we parked at a seasonal site. This year again, seasonal site. Now we have another crack on the same side as the first, bit Between the other slide and side rear window . Forest River/ Cardinal did help with the previous issues, but not now. With all the issues we have had, I truly believe these problems are due to manufacturing/quality control issues. I worry about the structural integrity of this unit. Any advice / suggestions would be appreciated. Show less

I have a 2019 Forest River Cardinal luxury 3456 RLX love the camper but six months in had to take back to dealer window was leaking and it rotted out the slide floor they kept three months waiting on one piece floor to be installed why I make the payments on it never heard from forest river always had to call them finally got it back and the fold down door steps hang crooked because the installed the door crooked from the factory so the tec at dealer grabs the steps and bends them the opposite way to make them look level I knew then this was going to be bad deal and now I have delamination problem in two different areas and the first thing forest river said OO your out of warranty not take from me dont spend your money on these by the cheaper and just plan on working on it you fill better just for the money you save. Would enter sub-zero for support and quality if available. it is the lousiest piece of crap I've seen. We've had many different rv units, none with the bad quality of of this Cardinal, which we thought was a top of the line unit. Too many issues to mention, but WORST is using interior drywall screws to attach the slide out rubbers that keeps water out. As they deteriorated, rusted and pulled away, unknown to us until inside paneling stated falling apart. Cant believe a company would be that stupid. SO IF IN THE MARKET FOR AN RV, RECOMMEND AVOIDING FOREST RIVER. Show less

Comparing my N-L camper to my previous arctic fox 1160 is like comparing a Yugo to a Tesla. The only things the A/F had that the N/L didn't is a black tank flush and larger tanks. The A/F literally spread apart underneath when the tiny badly welded cross braces broke and pulled out the tiny wood screws. I am in the process of rebuilding it so I can sell it with a clean conscience. My only other complaint is the wasted space around the batteries which I discovered during my Victron 2kw inverter install. I added an inspection door for easy access and ventilation for the inverter right next to the solar panel display. I have owned and lived in 5 different Rv's in my 63 years and the N/L is far and away the highest quality I have seen and that includes a 25' Airstream. Show less
