Bought our 2022 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser 19RBS brand new from Campers Inn/Union CT a few months ago. The sales staff talks a decent game, but all that was delivered was the camper...as it was delivered from the manufacturer. The fees for prep, inspection, soundness, or whatever they were for bought nothing. But I'll get back to that. First, the anti-sway hitch. When they realized they didn't have an appropriate hitch, they offered to acquire one and deliver the camper to my house and install the hitch. Several days later the trailer arrived, accompanied by a "tech" who had no experience installing hitches. After a brief conversation with him I realized that he had no experience and no idea what he was doing and would have installed it incorrectly. The service manager offered to send a qualified tech the next day. After a few days waiting, I decided to open the hitch box, read the instructions and install it myself. Yes, I needed to move the battery box, but that was the only complication. A few days later a talented tech finally showed up. I had him inspect my installation, which he declared to be quality work. Now for the actual camper. During our first camping trip of a few days we quickly discovered many system failures that would have been immediately identified by competent dealer prep. Among the issues: • Kitchen faucet was completely blocked by construction debris. (I simply removed and cleaned the faucet strainer) • Bathroom sink plumbing leaked profusely. (I bought some PEX pipe and appropriate tools and replaced all of the faulty plumbing) • Camper door had excessive friction due to poor lower hinge installation. (It had to be forced open and slammed shut. I reinstalled it with properly placed screw holes and now it works effortlessly) • The electric setting of the electric/propane water heater did not function at all. (After removing the access panel in the bathroom I discovered that the power cord was left dangling over the tank instead of being plugged in to the hidden power outlet. I simply plugged it in to fix it) • Trailer tires were low quality Loadstar, made in China and notoriously poor quality. But, more importantly, they were inflated to only 34 PSI!!! Instead of the recommended 75 PSI. (I intend to replace them with quality tires in the near future) In summary, they take your money and expend absolutely no effort to make sure the camper is in good working order.

We purchased our 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S from Campers Inn in Union CT in August of 2021. We encountered a problem with the slide out on our way home from a trip south on May 22. I called the Union Ct office starting on the 24th of May through late on the 25th. I left about 15 messages for the service staff but no one returned my call or indicated in any way that they were there. Very disappointed with the lack of service and especially the fact that no one bothered to communicate with us over our problem. I did receive a call from the general manager today the 26th but it was more of a we are busy and short handed. I did find another dealer certified by Forest River and they took my call immediately and I have scheduled service.

I wish I had read other reviews before paying for our camper. All is true. We had a fairly good experience with sales. We paid in full for our Thor Four winds 2017 22E. We were to pick it up June 3. Prior to that it was supposed to be sent to the Ford mechanics for vehicle inspection. On June 2nd Rachel, the service manager, called and said the inspections revealed damage from leakage on the passenger side of the cab over so we could not pick it up due to repairs needed. I went to check it out on June 3. They had not sent it for vehicle inspection and I insisted that appointment be made on the spot. They told us the parts for the area damaged by water had to be ordered from Thor. Two weeks later I called and they were waiting for shipment notice of the custom made storage area. A local carpenter/cabinet maker could have made them in two days. Two more weeks went by and I drove there to see what the status was. I was then told that a local carpenter would have to make it because Thor was not making those anymore. I let them know we needed it by July 9th as we had paid for reservations at campsites. Rachel agreed we could take it after the sealant was all applied and then go back to get the parts installed after it was built. She was going to arrange for a carpenter and let me know on July 2nd. I called and left three messages and also one with the manager . No return calls. Next level is to contact the owners of Campers Inn, the Hirsch family. This is an experience that is in total violation of their mission statement on their web page. Not a good experience at all. I regret not reading the other experiences prior to purchase. I am pleased that the tech found the damage through his detailed inspection as we would have taken home a vehicle with a leaking roof and lots of moldy rotting wood from negligence of previous owners. We did examine it for signs of leaks but none were visible . I would not recommend this dealership.

We took a few weeks to think on it we weren't in a rush to buy. They never hounded us, like we found with another dealership, when we decided we wanted to purchase we got in touch w/Howard. Howard worked with us and we got the price that we were looking for and comfortable with, they were good on our trade in which was very helpful. No complaints, smooth and easy process, the financing was quick and easy. Everyone there was very nice.
