We had purchased two new units in the past from Great Escapes before it was purchased by Blue Compass and were very satisfied with the deals we received especially on the last camper we purchased just a little over a year ago. However, this time we drive from Virginia to Arkansas to browse the lot and noticed a HUGE difference in inventory. We were told that it was due to covid but we had visited that lot during covid ( when we purchased our camper we have now) and idt it had anything to do with that. Our salesman was great. Lots of attention to detail, and within a short amount of time we narrowed it down to one camper and went in for the paperwork. We were told they were having a sale, in addition to the amounts the units had been marked down and we had our unit to trade in. Magically, when the numbers came back there wasn't any sale price figured at all. The unit went back to the full list price of 98000, and then they tacked on the difference of our camper VS theirs. We knew we would owe some but the amount they came up with was more than our house pymt a month. We said no thnsks and left. It is a far different experience than the ones we had at Great Escapes. We would not purchase from Blue Compass nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Show less
