Worse experience of our life buying a Thor Quantum KW29. We ignorantly bought a brand new RV remotely on the internet. Believed the dealer promises of warranty and support. Blue Compass RV in Bend Oregon told us Thor would take care of any issues if needed . Again, brand new unit, pictures looked great. It had everything we wanted. We bought it and hired a driver to bring it to us in Ohio . Thank goodness he took pictures of things with the sales manager in the vehicle. We get it in Ohio and all kind of things missing, wall as walk in bowed out ( he had video of that when picked up and has the sales manager looking at it saying that doesn’t look good). We extend the rear slide out and then it won’t retract. The front slide out goes out 1 inch. That’s it, won't move in or out any. Now it is sitting in our driveway and can’t move it. We could try look into the manual , but Blue Compass sent along a class B manual set. Call Thor and they said hire a local service company to come get the slide out in, but their policy is they won’t cover the cost . I finally take one of the motors off rear slide out ( rather hard to do) and after 3 hrs get the slide out in. Bend OR Blue Compass makes arrangements for us to take it to a local dealer 2 hrs away . We do that and thought they were going to take care of us . 4 months later promises we will have it soon. Haft our warranty wasted with unit sitting at dealer waiting for repairs. Never gotten to camp in it, had to cancel planned multiple trips so far. The service manager in Bend OR never did a service or even walked into it as far as we can tell or their service manager is the most inept SM ever. We really believe the dealer had another units pictures of the interior possibly. The dealer in Delaware OH would probably have had all the issues or missing items resolved in a week if they wanted to sell it to us. I contacted Thor directly about the missing items and why it takes so long to get. I find out Thor approved repairs and replacements items months ago and Blue Compass Delaware didn’t order them. Some excuses about getting another Blue Compass site to order the parts and they were doing inventory and couldn’t order parts. Basically, we have your money and you don’t matter to us. All I can say is I would never buy from any Blue Compass dealer in the US. You will hear a lot of promises but when you need help you will be out of luck.

We have had to take our 5th wheel in numerous times for warranty repairs. The service advisor has been very professional. However, they have had our RV a total of 20 collective weeks in our first year of ownership. The length of time they take to make repairs is unreasonable, one time they had it for 10 consecutive weeks. Additionally, when I call in or go by to check on status, they seem to be totally unaware of what's going on without making calls or reviewing things in the computer, even though they know I'm anxiously waiting on the completion of repairs. There seems to be no sense of urgency. Also, their technical competency is lacking. Some required repairs have either been performed poorly or in some cases totally ignored, requiring us to bring the RV back in for another visit. Some repair parts have been lost, also requiring us to bring the RV back in again. I do not recommend using their service department.
