The 2019 Heartland Big Country 3560SS 5th Wheel is an outstanding example of what modern RV living should feel like—refined, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment you step inside, it’s clear that this unit was designed with both quality and livability in mind. The craftsmanship throughout the RV is impressive, with solid materials and thoughtful construction that give it a residential feel rather than a typical camper vibe. The layout is exceptionally well-planned, offering a wide-open living space that never feels cramped. High ceilings and large windows flood the interior with natural light, making it feel bright and inviting. One of the standout features is the living area. The seating is plush and perfectly positioned for relaxation, whether you’re watching TV, reading, or entertaining guests. The kitchen is equally impressive—spacious, functional, and beautifully styled with modern finishes, ample counter space, and high-quality appliances that make cooking on the road a pleasure rather than a chore. The bedroom continues the theme of comfort and convenience, with plenty of storage and a cozy, residential-style bed that ensures a great night’s sleep. The bathroom is well-appointed, offering generous space and a clean, upscale design that rivals many home bathrooms. Styling throughout the unit strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and warm comfort. Neutral tones, tasteful accents, and quality furnishings create a welcoming environment that feels like a true home away from home. Overall comfort is where this RV truly shines. Whether you’re parked for a weekend getaway or living in it full-time, the 3560SS provides a relaxing, functional, and stylish space that makes every trip more enjoyable. It’s clear that Heartland put a lot of thought into every detail, resulting in a fifth wheel that exceeds expectations in both form and function. This is a top-tier RV that delivers on quality, livability, and comfort—an excellent choice for anyone looking to travel without sacrificing the feeling of home.

I purchased this unit new 2022 Big Country in Nov 2023 "Brand New". We purchased just before moving out of state. Our idea was to live in it while looking for our forever home. Well, we started having quality issues within the first month. Since we're living in it, we're not able to take it in for service. So... I paid a local mobile RV Repair company to fix the issues (awning motor, recliner motor, fridge won't keep temp, leaking hydraulic line, leaking fittings,) the straw that killed us staying in the camper LEAKING ROOF. I mean it two of the slide outs leaked bad, come to find out, my RV guy told me the roof was not installed correctly. We ended up moving into an AirBB and taking the camper to Camping World for service. Come to find out after 90 days, any leaky roof issues are your's. That's right, a 90 day warranty against leaks. I have significant water damage and no warranty coverage. The warranty states you're responsible for maintaining the roof "general maintenance" . I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THE HEARTLAND BRAND. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, WARRANTY ISN'T WORTH THE PAPER IT'S WRITTEN ON.

Well where to start. My rv spent more time in the shop in the first year then in my driveway or on a campsite. The quailty there is none this unit must have been put together by first graders. Who ever did the wiring did not know you need to crimp the wires in place. Plumbers or who ever did the water lines did not know that the hose clamps go over the male end of the pipe and not just the female end. The customer service manager is just as bad as the no experience workers in the factory. There moto is we do not make phone calls. I do not know how this company is still in buisness.

Love love our Big Country. Floor plan very spacious and lots of storage. High interior ceiling is what we were looking for and an open floor plan. Another great feature is the residential range/refrigerator. This is our 3rd RV. Another great feature is the huge toilet and pocket doors. We love camping and with this 5th wheel feels like we are in a beach house/ vacation home when not enjoying camping outside. Dislikes on this RV would be the in the bedroom not too much room on the side of the king bed probably could swap king mattress for queen. The auto leveling is on the side of the trailer would have liked it on the front. The washer/dryer prep room probably would work better if it was in the bathroom and not the closet but we don’t live in it full time so haven’t added washer/dryer. This RV has all the bells and whistles ! Would highly recommend!

I bought my 2023 Heartland Big Country 3200 RLK brand new in April 2023 and have had quite a few issues with it. To start with, the landing gear/leveling jacks have never worked properly, nor does auto level feature work, had it re-calibrated at the dealer and still doesn’t work properly. The ducted air conditioning system does not cool the RV very well, any temperatures over 95 degrees and the air conditioners cannot keep up (having two 15k BTU A/C’s this rv should have no problem keeping cool). One of the bed struts in the under bed storage area broke off the second time I lifted the bed to put something in that storage compartment. The shower liner began delaminating from the wall after three months of usage. The black and grey water tank vents were not hooked up properly and would vent those disgusting gasses into the RV. Some other small things I found wrong with the RV are as follows: The sound bar in the entertainment system was not connected, the handrail for the stairs began to come apart, the Winegard 5g WiFi system was not connected/working, wood trim for the faux shutter window in the bedroom fell off and hit me in the head while sleeping, and many pieces of hardware on the exterior of the fifth wheel have required tightening or have fallen off (wheel skirts, hand rail, reflectors, etc). Lastly, the refrigerator condensation drain doesn’t work, there’s always water all over everything in the fridge. For a fifth wheel that has an MSRP of over 100k (according to Heartland RV), I’ve been pretty disappointed. The one year warranty is a joke as well but at least Heartland covered most of the above mentioned issues before the 1 yr warranty expired. I recommend buying from an RV manufacturer with better quality control and better warranty.

Heartland will never get my business again. We bought our 2021 Big Country 3155RLK in March, 2021. It’s 24 months old, and it’s been in the repair shop for 13 months. We’ve experienced a problem (or 2, or 3) with nearly every system in the unit. Since it was built during the pandemic, perhaps the factory couldn’t get enough workers, and couldn’t train what they had. The demand for RV’s hit a peak about the time this one was built, and I am sure the factory simply decided to shove the crap out the door and let the dealers deal with the problems. Our dealership has over 200 units waiting to be repaired. The problems have included a severe hydraulic fluid leak, discovered on the way home when we first picked it up, a loose refrigerator that caused the trim above it to fracture, every interior wall has come apart (they are panels that are held together with staples but no glue), the television cabling has never worked correctly, all of the furniture has come unfastened from the floor (the couch moved around while traveling so much that the rear wall separated from the unit and the side walls came apart), and about 50 additional warranty issues. Our service advisor (no longer with the dealership) told us that these trailers are not really built to be hauled down the road. I asked her what part of “travel trailer” did she not understand? On a trip last summer, we stopped in Elkhart IN at the factory to talk about the quality issues, but the customer service people would not talk with us. Currently, it’s been at the dealer over six months waiting for parts and repairs. They’ve had it longer than we have.

I bought this RV new in Sep of this year, 2022. It is actually a 2023 model. Today is Nov 8th and after bringing it home a second time, the issues still exist on the RV side. Just a few things....a computer steering cluster module went out the second time driven. Crossroad Ford did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing, along with a faulty brake . booster. No ladder on the unit, the radio head unit is faulty and needs to be replaced, no call on the shower at all and worst of all, the RV continues to not recognize the parking brake and will not auto level or allow slide to operate. Closest dealer is over 3 hours away. Not a happy camper. In fact I've never even taken it camping as it has been in the shop pretty much from the week after I purchased.

Comparing my N-L camper to my previous arctic fox 1160 is like comparing a Yugo to a Tesla. The only things the A/F had that the N/L didn't is a black tank flush and larger tanks. The A/F literally spread apart underneath when the tiny badly welded cross braces broke and pulled out the tiny wood screws. I am in the process of rebuilding it so I can sell it with a clean conscience. My only other complaint is the wasted space around the batteries which I discovered during my Victron 2kw inverter install. I added an inspection door for easy access and ventilation for the inverter right next to the solar panel display. I have owned and lived in 5 different Rv's in my 63 years and the N/L is far and away the highest quality I have seen and that includes a 25' Airstream.

I have owned this motorhome since I bought it new in 2019. I have driven it from Seattle to Disney World, and to the national parks of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and many places in between. I have 37k miles on it and have lived in it since shortly after I bought it. As far as manufacturing and assembly, all the important pieces work well except for the refrigerator. When it was a few months old, we had a torrential rainstorm in Salt Lake City and the refrigerator outside panel was not installed properly. As a result water poured into the refrigerator workings and it was damaged. After warranty repair, it works acceptably but ice cream will get a little soft in very hot weather. Other than that, a few small trim pieces in the coach were not installed correctly. I have had no other issues with the generator, the furnace, the two wonderful air conditioners, and the three TV's which are Furion. They have excellent pictures and one is very large. I tow a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk behind it and it does fine. I have had no suspension work on it and I find it very controllable. The only time I get white knuckles is when I am going over a narrow bridge with opposing traffic. The motorhome is wider than some of the lanes on county roads and it is tight on some state highways. I read about people who have all kinds of trouble but I think it is just like buying anything, some people are not lucky, and some people are. I replaced the king mattress that came with it with a memory cell mattress, and I sleep very well in it. I have two big dogs, and they have plenty of room to stretch out. I love my FR3 and it works great as a home I can go almost anywhere in. I would highly recommend it for its relatively low price and its reliability, as well as its comfort.
