This is an outstanding motorhome. The quality and strength outweigh all of the other motor vehicles, motorhomes we have owned. It is spacious, comfortable, with heated floors, Aqua Hot system for hot water, king size bed, one and a half baths, did I mention comfort? The kitchen is very usable, the refrigerator is residential. The stove top is induction. I can't say enough about the quality of this motorhome. We have looked at many others and never found anything to compare. It's easy to drive, less wear and tear. Easy for setup and take down, everything is automated.

I bought my American Eagle in March 2024 from the estate of the original owner with 55k miles. It was used almost strictly for tailgate parties at WV Football games. Owner towed a large BBQ/outdoor kitchen in a cargo trailer behind, so it also has supplemental trailer brake controls. It was stored in a special built climate-controlled garage since new. When the owner died in 2010, the family kept it for special occasions and still went to football games. It was rarely used for camping trips other than back to NC for service at the original dealer.
It needed new tires and batteries when I got it but everything worked. the original bill of sale was included for $392k in 2003. The quality is superb! All cherry wood interior with beige Ultra leather seating. Since I am a full timer, I expect to upgrade the entertainment systems and already installed a new TV in the exterior compartment. Surprisingly, it also came with a lifetime Sirius Sat Radio which is excellent. I could go on and on about the quality and refinements but what few others have said about support, I want to add now,
American Coach has a highly respected owners forum online with photos, facts, and immediate response to questions about issues with the coach. The Aqua-Hot system was new for me to learn about, and the forum was full of info. In Florida with it till March when I will drive to GA for the yearly FMCA Motor Coach events which are another huge support for information about the Eagle. Summers will be spent up north and winters down south. Maybe to Mexico with one of the FMCA owner caravans.

We ordered this coach from American Coach in 2010 and took delivery a few months later. The Spartan Chassis and Allison transmission are not only reliable they are durable. The white paint scheme and trim is beautiful. The interior has top of the line quality with a 4 door Norcold refrigerator and freezer. (Ac/Dc/ and propane) we had a cabinet maker build a cabinet in the front to accommodate a 40” Sony Hd tv. We also had a Winegard Traveler DIRECTV antenna installed on the roof. The inside furniture is Villa leather/vinyl. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom all have corian counter tops. The tile floors are Porcelain. Some of the interior features include a backup monitor, all electric front seats, 2 Dvd players front and back, roof spotlight, stainless kitchen sinks, 3 burner stove with oven, slide out condiment storage, Hugh upper and lower pantry, roof fans, large cedar closet in the beadroom and side storage fora coffee table and extra chairs, and a kitchen table extension under the lift up bed.
The outside has a front slide out for the 7.5 kw onan diesel gen, the firs bay on the right has hookups for a tv, the next 3 bays have slide out trays the last one has a two bin Norcold Refrigerator which is ac/dc, the next bay houses the batteries for the chassis(2) and batteries for the Coach (4), access to the engine is from 3 doors on both sides plus in the rear and the floor in the bedroom. The electrical bay, sewer drain 1 large bay, and a bay for the 42 gal propane tank.
SPECS—
The Cummings engine is 350 hp ISC, 8.3L, total miles 114,000, serial number 719HI4479774 VIN number 4vZBR24941c038140,
All of the paperwork and service manuals are with the coach and all maintenance is in our little maintenance book. 100 gal fresh water tank, 40 gal tank for waste, and 60 gal grey water, 150 gal diesel fuel, the coach is 102 wide plus the 2 slide outs, all 6 batteries were replaced in 10/22, 6 new Toro tires 08/19 with less than 10k miles, last engine and chassis service 02/23
MISC..
10 gal water heater, Girard G2000 awning electric with roof wind sensor, semi auto leveling jacks, Elect entry steps, air horns, recently resealed (2 coats) roof sealant over fiberglass roof, new canvass for both slide outs.
This coach has been our pride and joy. We are selling because of a recent illness and old age. The coach has been stored inside since, we have always removed our shoes before going in, and no one has ever smoked in it. Alcohol has been consumed while watching TV. The coach has been washed and waxed every year. The coach had never been involved in an accident and there are no scratches in the paint.

I bought my 2007 All American Sport CKTS 3 axle Toy Hauler used in 2009. Towed it 300 miles to the NM Mountains and lived in it for 8 years at 7300 Ft. Perfect for one person and the garage housed my motorcycle securely. The first year NM had a 100 year blizzard and I discovered that toy haulers "in general" are 3 season trailers (not 4 season). The generator was a life saver during power outages. Solution: more insulation in ceiling, in the enclosed bottom, and over the windows; plus added 25K BTU furnace in main living area. I towed it to NM with a small block 1 ton pickup with no issues on the plains but the truck was at its limits on mountain grades. The job finished and we use it to support my families recreational activities. I have towed it 20K miles since then with no issues but I did upgrade my pickup to handle mountain grades better!

Take your money elsewhere. Poor quality for a huge amount of money. As always in the RV business, the sale comes first. Customer satisfaction doesn't make the list. The dealer isn't much better. For $700k , we got one trip and made a list of over 50 items that were broke, noy installed correctlyor just plain missing. This includes the slide that broke all the welds....AT THE FACTORY!!!. The RV has been in the shop at American Coach for 5 months for repairs. We still haven't gotten it back. If you're spending this amount of money, you'd expect better from a manufacturer. This isn't a $5,000 bumper pull. Don't get started on the dealer. Once again, they're just interested in the sale. They care about you afterwards. 0/5 stars for both!

The American Coach is well built with quality materials and is certainly at the top of mid tier diesel pushers. The full wall slide is a game changer. Having previously owned a 4 slide model, I am amazed at what a difference the full wall slide made in the interior room and comfort. I can't believe other manufacturers are still making the older four slide out floor plans. The ride is very supple and the handling is so smooth that can drive 12 hours without getting fatigued. I had previously owned another brand of coach on a Roadmaster chassis. It was so difficult to keep in its lane that you would be worn out after driving for any length of time. Lastly, the looks of the American Coach stand out against the competition. Sleek front end cap, beautiful full body paint, Girard integrated awnings, and frameless windows all make this coach draw attention.

We got a fair bus for what we paid. The rust from being up north was not expected buying and living in Texas.
Lesson 1. Tires must not be trusted beyond 8 years, even 10 yo Michlens ZX2 will blow a years worth of fun money. Losing a left steer tire to blow out is a trip.
lesson 2. All RV repairs will require visits to the bank, mortgage company and possibly visit to uncle vito for assistance. Anything that needs replaced will be 10x more than a automotive part would be.
Lesson 3. Learn what needs assistance and by who.
RV tech is not needed to replace airbag, truck mechanic is. Basic maintenance can be performed by most who know what a monkey wrench is.
Lesson 4. YouTube/Internet can be most useful when diagnosing a issue. All vehicles break eventually, deal with it.
Lesson 5. Slow down enjoy the ride. It's the journey not the destination that makes a trip.
