I wish I could give Forest River a big fat ZERO but I can't. They don't deserve even one star, Folks, my experience has been horrible with Forest River and Blue Compass RV who sold the Class C motorhome to me as well as GMC who manufactured the chassis and the engine. When I say horrible, I mean fraud, Breach of Warranty, concealed rust, safety hazards I reported to the NHTSA and there were recalls as a result, leaking propane, faulty LP detector, electrical issues, leaking generator, fuel line leaks, awning not opening or closing, bugs everywhere inside my RV, leaking roof, etc, This is really the most disturbing issue. I bought it brand new. I have paid over $40,000 along with attorney's fees, expert fees and I have a HUGE amount of monetary damages, too and punitive damages to add to that. All of what I just listed, I have only put 167 miles on my new 2025 Forest River Sunseeker. That's right. Let's hope you never have to pay $40,000 for 167 miles. I continue having to pay payments and insurance due to Forest River not refunding me for the lemon they created just for me, I have had dealings with the attorney for Forest River and Mr. Kevin Stratton from Forest River, and with all these problems, during the first few months, nothing has been fixed and they REFUSE to take responsibility. The attorney from Forest River even made light of us sleeping in a motorhome that was leaking propane with no LP detector working. He said that since the propane was venting and leaking to the outside that we were not in any danger. Last I heard, electricity and gas ovens and leaking propane and leaking fuel lines don't mix well. I have had it towed with a wrecker twice now and Kevin Stratton wanted me to tow it again on my dime so they could look at the problems after it has sat over 120 in the shop at Blue Compass. The Forest River Sunseeker has spent over 120 days in the shop and it won't even start. That is right!! It won't start. It is not a battery issue. It leaks noxious fluids all over my driveway and it won't even start. I am afraid that my home might blow up with it sitting and leaking fuel all over my driveway. Almost two years since 5/31/24 I have only been able to use it for 167 miles and yet Forest River denies that they made a lemon. They want to keep my money so they can make one off these RVs for you! I wish my nightmare was over but it is not. Kevin Stratton and the attorney for Forest River are unscrupulous. They won't budge. They point their finger at Blue Compass RV but they manufactured the motorhome. They point their finger at me for not wanting to wait another 120 days for another dealer to try their hand at fixing it. The Lemon Law is of 30 days of re[aor time in Missouri. Blue Compass RV and Forest River and GMC have had ample time to fix it but every issue still remains. Somehow when my motorhome was in the shop at Blue Compass, someone enjoyed putting 284 miles on it without my knowledge or permission. I can go on and on and on. My dreams of traveling the USA have turned into to a real life nightmare. GMC manufactured the chassis and I purchased two extended warranties for my motorhome, very expensive ones. GMC has refused to service my motorhome at every single place I have called. The only reason it was serviced once at a Chevrolet dealer is because they did it as a favor for Forest River. I wish I could have spared myself this misery, Just when I thought I was going to finally see the USA, I sit in my home and wait to be reimbursed for this huge box of evidence leaking all over my driveway that won't even start. I dream of having avoided this Forest River, Blue Compass RV and GMC Chevrolet nightmare. Fraud, Breach of Warranty, concealment of rust, serious and dangerous defects, too. Show less

I purchase in 2020. Right away it had a knock in slide on the 600 mile trip home. Dealer said best to take to factory to resolve. Factory trip was worth it they fixed it. Hydraulic hose cut due to hose routed incorrectly. Hydraulic motor failed A cheap China product. Tankless water heater leaked because of a faulty O-Rings. Switchover box failed. Fake leather bench and sofa are flaking. 18k and just my wife and I. Wallpaper coming loose. If you want a fixer upper get a Thor! Oh just remembered had to replace water vavle system. Show less

Overall this is a top of the line RV for the price you will pay. Things like real wood blinds, central vacuum system, very large 4 door refrigerator and very large bathroom shower design with added makeup sink and lighting in the bedroom are just some of the amenities. Plus a giant rear full mirror closet across the back This unit drives like a dream cloud down the road, with tons of power from the 400hp Cummins. and is extremely stable in cross winds. This is our 5th RV so I feel I have a good reputation for reviewing a Motor Coach or RV unit Which leads me to it's only slightly dis-like for me. I would have wanted a better design for the cup holders and some of the areas for the switches could have been better. Minor in the bigger picture of everything else it has going for itself. Self leveling, outdoor fridge freezer, tons of storage, awnings everywhere really make this an excellent outdoor experience. To top that off the roof is an entire Solar Grid System with 11 batteries below. This along with a 7kw diesel generator can keep you off the beaten path for a long time. If not for wanting to go in a new directions in our traveling, I would never sell this rig. Show less

Panel behind arm rail separated from the studs. Forest River riverstone did nothing... absoteuly nothing. By far one of the worst purchasing experiences in my adult life. L couches seemed cool, but was extremely uncomfortable. Nicks and dings in so many places on what was the frost paint job. For a 18k paint job was already needing repainted and had a flame flex issue. When the panel fell off I filed a BBB complaint again Forest River. The rep said it's the dealers fault and declined to work with the BBB further. Waste of me registering, running my credit, and down payment. Dealership bought it back because I hired a lawyer but was also ready to let me get screwed over. My family and children's children will never buy a forest river product again. Rust, missing blinds, leaking in the storage area from the bathroom. One of the most poorly connected units I have stepped in. Slumnersloth is terribly ugly as well. Show less

Nordic Fridge broke in first 5 days. Trim all over coming loose. Outside of bedroom slide separating from top piece. Gaps between slide mechanism and wall letting light in. Will clealrly let bugs and rodents in. Tv not mounted level. Washer Dryer unit door already sagging and bent. Wood valances uneven and need tightened. Trim above toy hauler door and seem tape all ripped and jagged. Ball that goes to hidden section behind TV rolled away during the drive home. Walls around base of garage are already starting to stain from... standard garage use. I have not even loaded a side by side yet. Edges of framless windows has peeling tint. Counter in bathroom not solid surface, thats where you needed it. Show less

Bought a 2025 stratus venture 261vrb from great American tv in defuniak springs Florida. Went on a 4 month trip around the USA Overall not many issues. One issue was the 20 amp gfci bkr that fed the outlets for where the washer and dryer would plug in 120vac was wired incorrectly at the factory. As soon as u plugged anything in the bkr would trip free. Took the dealership some time to troubleshoot this issue and wire the bkr correctly. Second issue was the reception wiring for cable/antanne broke after 2 months. Dealership troubleshot and found numerous loose connections and a bad splitter. Third issue was electric fireplace broke after 3 months. Dealership replaced it. 4th issue was the slide out stove fell off its sliders after 3 uses. Dealership fixed 5th issue was the blinds by the couch and dining table had the lower piece come off. Dealership fixed these. Last issue was the shower head was clogged with piping debris from installation. Had to clean out bits of plastic plumbing pipe to get decent water flow. It took a month to get warranty work approved. And another month to get parts. Show less

We lived in the Keystone Passport 219BH for about 6 weeks straight. We towed the travel trailer from Virginia to Indiana up through Michigan and into Canada, around the great lakes, back down through Niagara, then back home. It was a once in a lifetime trip and we created so many lifelong memories. We had up to 5 people living in it at one time. My adult daughter stayed with us for about a week of the trip making it my wife and I, and three teen agers. Five people in the RV was tight. Four was comfortable. We had no problems with it the whole time even though it was slightly used. There are no slide outs which means less issues to worry about, but moving throughout the RV with 4 or more people makes it a little tight at times. Despite that, our experience was very comfortable and cozy. We used the propane heater a little bit and it made the RV warm quickly. It was also very efficient. We cooked all of our meals in the RV and only needed to fill one of the 2 propane tanks the whole time we were camping. The AC worked really well too. It was hot in Indiana at the time, and we could always sleep comfortably inside at night with the central AC. I liked the fact that we could direct the AC vents to aim were we wanted so that if I was hot and my wife was cold, I could aim it right at me. The outdoor grill and water spigot were very convenient. Ours had electric tow hitch and stabilizers which made it so nice. We could set up and take down in 15 minutes. For the price, it was worth every penny and made of high quality materials like the fiberglass outside and cold weather underbelly. I was super happy with the investment we made and money we saved compared to staying in hotels. Show less

We have owned travel trailers for 30 years. We travel across country yearly. We purchased jayco 22rk July 2025. We had a grand design 2500 rl which we enjoyed with dual entrance. We did not like the scwintek slide (hung up three times). Jayco 22rk is very similar floor plan and is great two person camper. Has a separate bedroom and bath room. It is small and light enough that it is easy to tow. Also has rack and pinion slide that can be retracted manually if need be. I am 6’-4” and am comfortable. It is relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of trailers out there. We find that it meets our needs. We brought trailer in to have seals on slide repaired. We purchased our 2019 Aspen Trail 2710 in Oct. of '23 and have lived ,full time, ever since. We have towed it 30k+, in all terrain, up 11,000ft up the rockies, down to the N. Rim of the Grand canyon, across central USA down to Key West Florida, back to San Antonio Texas, and EVERYWHERE in between. We have NEVER HAD ONE SINGLE ISSUE WITH OUR TRAILER. And we tore it up on the inside. Both rooms, beds, sofas and dinette area we completely disassembled it and threw it in the dump. And we built our HOME , for 5 yrs , we'll see, but we didn't disassemble one single screw, or ANYTHING that was factory done as not to mess with the integrity of factory seals, etc. we ran off our water pump for over a year, daily. Everything still works. Never has had any leaks, failing appliances, nothing. And I've been in some weather conditions too! Today it's below freezing in Austin Texas, and the entire outside of this thing has ice on it. We are toasty inside with a small space heater. We haven't ran the furnace heater since the first and only time we used it. That's was way to hot for us . The A/C has ran, you might as well say, 24/7/365 since we bought it. My wife , menopause deal, yeah she runs it everyday,all day. Never an issue. Everything is still going strong. I removed the underbelly about six months into this lifestyle because I HAD TO KNOW my exact layout under there. I found a crack in pot tank on the seam. Repaired that. Double tied all wires, connectors, propane lines, secured every thing and replaced the belly with s.s. zip screws so now it can be removed easier if need be . I've re coated the roof with Henry's, I keep all filters, vents ,coils clean almost daily as we have two cats and a Cane Corso. This camper is the best. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. Now, somethings I've noticed could have been better, but that everything we deal with. I tow it with a 2012 Nissan Armada Platinum 4×4. So easy my wife tows it with full confidence, easily. We always say we should have went a little bigger or we wish we had slides, but this was the right one for the right people and we love it Show less

We love our Athens park model, 15" X 26" , fits our lot perfectly. Very happy with Hardee board siding. Placed Texas room next to it, turned out great. Bedroom is big enough for a king size bed, and closets. Plumbing is all good with no complaints. Show less
