We upgraded the front sway bar and steering stabilizer and this 24B on the E450 chassis handles great, with the full side pop out and the large shower and wardrobe at 26'-8" it is a great size and easy to maneuver. We also put 800w of solar and 400ah of lithium batteries making boon docking a breeze. The power and gas mileage of the 7.3 Godzilla V8 in this size RV is excellent.

Wonderful to drive and easy to set up. Has all the necessary amenities needed for a great camping trip. Durable/reliable diesel engine with great mpg. Sleeping areas have thick, firm mattresses for a great nights sleep. Kitchen area has ample space for preparing meals and convection oven works just like a home oven.

We purchased this RV to haul our 4 place horse trailer and travel across the country for a year!! The hauling and power are great! Unfortunately the quality of cabinets/carpentry is so very very poor! The tankless water heater has already needed to be replaced and tankless technology is not that great because in order to get hot water to wash dishes in sink uses up SOOO much water. Not great when boondocking! Our bumpout has given us trouble since day one but now has completely broken!! Thor has been completely unhelpful!! They make the customer AND dealerships go through ridiculous hoops to get a warranty item fixed! We so far have spent 3 extra weeks in 1 spot on our trip because if you move and don’t have the original dealer that submitted claim do the work you need to start claim process all over again!! VERY VERY ambiguous about when parts will be shipped to dealer!! I have had an email thread with Thor & dealership for a month now. ETA for parts in the email thread has always been a certain date. That date has come and gone no parts and I find out the day before ETA that the ETA isn’t even referring to delivery of parts to my dealer but to Thor factory which in turn needs to mail it out to dealership after that!! I am starting to ramble all I can say is not at ALL truthful or transparent!! Totally different complaint: to fill fuel tank takes an hour or possibly more! You have to dribble the fuel in because the pipe that puts it into the tank has a 90 degree angle Hopefully this experience will help someone make an informed decision and not just based on power for towing like we did!! Gauges for fresh water, grey and black are completely useless. Most of the time they all 3 read exactly the same at 67%!!

2018 Thor Chateau 24hl. Extremely easy to drive, back up camera is great. Perfect for a couple or family with a few small children. It's super easy to pull up stakes and cruise if needed. The Mercedes chassis and diesel engine is a workhorse and super reliable. Gas mileage is good at about 13-14 MPG. Nice floor plan and bunkhouse area is convienient. Plenty of storage throughout. Overall a good coach. Obviously small things break because all RVs are made cheaply. But really no surprises. Recommend for class C.

This is the perfect RV and Floorplan for 2 to 4 people. We've owned this model for a couple years and it's a dream. Couch to lounge, table to have meals. Front and rear TV's - WOW. Sterio inside and outside. The kitchen is the perfect size with a nice sized sink with a cover, a 3 burner propane stove and an oven. Yes an oven, this was one of the buying points for me. I could back bisquits, cookies, pot pies, breakfast burritos and more. It's a game changer! The refrigerator is huge that runs on battery or propane. Lots and lots of cabinets, more than you'd ever need. The front sofa and table also turn into a full size bed. Going to the back there's a queen bed slide out with upgraded mattress. Super comphy. USB ports on each side of the bed with reading lights and cabinets above. And TV mounted on the wall. Even has a privacy curtain. The bathroom is spacious equipped with Sink, toilet, and a seperate shower with shower door, a medicine cabinet with mirror and lower cabinet. The entire RV is awesome.

recently bought a new Winnebago View 24T. It is a new model this year, although the View has been out for some time. I am sorely disappointed with the quality of the vehicle which came freshly from the factory. The walk through seemed fine with what I was able to test out in that short period of time, however two days after getting it home, I discovered that the coach battery was not charging. Two days later I found that the Xantrex inverter was set to the incorrect battery type (flooded or lead acid instead of Lithium-ion) and that Winnebago had locked out this setting which meant it cannot be changed. Winnebago says it needs a firmware update, but won't give me a time for when the update is available. It has been three months now. Meanwhile, because of the incorrect inverter setting, there is not very much that actually functions in the coach, whether connected to shore power or not. This means it cannot be used for its intended purpose. Here is a list of defects out of the factory: Battery won’t charge Forward ceiling fan acting up, on/off by itself Lights flicker during slide operation Fridge won't run under battery power Hot water heater won't stay on Coach door won't lock along with the Mercedes doors Water pump keeps turning on by Itself randomly Lights flicker under battery power Because of the charging issues, battery may be damaged Gallery cabinet over sink does not latch properly and is misaligned Inverter outer boy door won't latch Slide makes binding sounds during operation Stovetop rubber gasket is torn Stain on passenger seat Tv tray sofa insert too loose Bed mattress retaining strap unraveling Multiple leaks from fresh water system Drawers won't latch well enough to stay closed while driving External storage side door is misaligned I would like to give an extra star because I really liked the floor plan design, but I haven't been able to use it yet to evaluate that.
