Great Layout, but 3 Years Later, the Quality is a Major Disappointment Rating: ⭐⭐/5 The Good: We have owned our 2021 Trail Runner 211R for three years. The floor plan is great and the large rear window is a standout feature that makes the living area feel bright and open. It’s exactly the kind of design that makes you want to buy it on the spot. The Reality (Poor Craftsmanship Everywhere): This trailer is used only by my husband and myself. Given how lightly it has been used, the amount of structural and cosmetic failure we are seeing is unacceptable. We are very disappointed in the overall craftsmanship: Wallpaper & Trim: The wallpaper is crinkled at the windows and peeling at the edges. The trim pieces throughout were cut too short, leaving visible gaps. Walls & Cabinets: The paper laminate on the cupboard doors is peeling, and wall panels are separating from where they were stapled to the studs. We even have staples popping out of the wall seams. Electrical & Tech: There is a random HDMI cord sticking out of the kitchen wall that connects to nothing. Additionally, a "TV Mount" sticker was placed between the dining and kitchen areas, but there is no actual mounting board behind the wall in that space. Mechanical & Structural: The heater is unreliable and frequently stops, requiring us to cycle the system to get it to restart. When standing in the shower, you can feel that there isn't a hard, solid base underneath the entire bottom. Furniture: The factory mattress is not comfortable at all and had to be replaced almost immediately. Final Verdict: The layout lured us in, but the execution is poor. For a trailer used only by two adults, these issues should not exist. If we had seen these quality problems beforehand, we would have purchased something different. We do not recommend this unit for anyone looking for long-term durability. Show less

This RV is often referred to as a "Couple's Camper" because of its open floor plan, king bed and large bathroom. If you get the dinette version it can sleep four. We chose the recliner loveseat sitting in front of the fireplace and relaxing, so our's sleeps two. We have not had any problems with it and I can say that after looking at so many other designs, this one works well for the 2 of us and our large dog. The hardware on the inside doors is sturdy and the doors do not come off the track when underway as some other models do. The large kitchen counter space and pantry are just what we needed. Happy to have the solar panel and monitoring equipment installed and working. Central heat and air are super nice and quiet. Second entry/exit door in the master BR is a bonus, since we sometimes leave the door open with just the screen. Very happy with this unit. It is just under 6000 lbs. and tows easily. It has good ground clearance and is well built with aluminum infrastructure and walkable roof. Having the rear ladder to access equipment on the roof is a big bonus. There are videos available to see the manufacturing plant and process. Oh, and there are organizing shelves built in under the bed and a quick connect for propane to run the grill off the main tanks. Too many extras to mention here. Have not used warranty at all. Did come with crap tires which we promptly replaced. Highly recommend this model if you are looking. Show less

I purchased my Forest River No Bo from an owner who had it for 3 years. At first glance it's a fairly nice travel trailer. Once you have used it for a year or so , you realize how poorly constructed these trailers really are. Of course every cabinet is made from particle board, so the least amount of pressure on an electrical outlet, will knock it right out of the wall. I have two now that are impossible to re-attach. The valances above the windows are sagging from opening and closing them. Overall, these trailers are made like dog do. If I ever decide to purchase another one, it won't be the crap that Forest River puts out. That being said, I'd give them a one star review. Show less

I purchased new in 2021 a Lance 2075 travel trailer. Despite my extensive efforts to keep mice from entering, I am having MAJOR issues!!! This year is ESPECIALLY bad!! I have an insurance claim in the process, and I'm expecting my insurance company to write it off as a total loss due to rodent infestation!! Quality control at the factory is atrocious!! I have done everything I could possibly do to keep mice from getting in!! When I brought it home from the dealer, I spent two days on my back underneath it sealing holes in the underbelly that should have been done at the factory!!! Where the wiring, plumbing etc. entered the trailer, there was holes the I could fit three fingers in!!! I applied Mouse-Free religiously ,and still mice got in!! I called Lance directly and their attitude was, "so what do you want me to do about it?" Hence the one star for warranty/support!!I will never buy another Lance product, and anyone shopping for an RV , I would suggest you look elsewhere!! The ONLY exceptional thing is the towing. It did hold the road very well, and I never had a problem when passing semis or in heavy cross winds! Show less

We purchased our 2021 Salem Hemisphere 25RBHL in early 2025, and it was absolutely immaculate—like a brand-new couple’s coach. It even still had that new RV smell inside. We camped almost every month throughout 2025, including Christmas, and we truly can’t put into words how perfectly this model has met our needs. The 25RBHL is the ideal size—not too big and not too small. The interior feels like home without needing to add a single thing. The rear bathroom is incredibly spacious! The theater seating features underlighting and illuminated cup holders, creating the perfect ambiance for watching an action-packed movie. The kitchen offers plenty of cabinet space along with a pantry, which is a huge plus. For a five-year-old trailer, the exterior still looks fantastic—clean and free of stains. Most people assume our Salem Hemisphere 25RBHL is much newer at first glance. The only item we needed to replace was the “H” hot water cap on the bathroom sink, which I found on Amazon for $5. My husband also performed routine annual maintenance on the water heater and replaced the anode rod, purchasing a two-pack for under $20. Other than that, we haven’t had to do a thing. Show less

This trailer had a toilet leak on first trip. I call for a repair and was rudely told their warranties cover nothing water related. Then I was told they don't have time for non warranty repair. First trip out the canopy wouldn't open,, the window over the table pored water in, the kitchen faucet snapped in half, and nothin under warranty at 3 weeks out. Bought at Camper World who said sorry, the repair department was a separate company. We even had the extended warranty. Show less

We lived in the Keystone Passport 219BH for about 6 weeks straight. We towed the travel trailer from Virginia to Indiana up through Michigan and into Canada, around the great lakes, back down through Niagara, then back home. It was a once in a lifetime trip and we created so many lifelong memories. We had up to 5 people living in it at one time. My adult daughter stayed with us for about a week of the trip making it my wife and I, and three teen agers. Five people in the RV was tight. Four was comfortable. We had no problems with it the whole time even though it was slightly used. There are no slide outs which means less issues to worry about, but moving throughout the RV with 4 or more people makes it a little tight at times. Despite that, our experience was very comfortable and cozy. We used the propane heater a little bit and it made the RV warm quickly. It was also very efficient. We cooked all of our meals in the RV and only needed to fill one of the 2 propane tanks the whole time we were camping. The AC worked really well too. It was hot in Indiana at the time, and we could always sleep comfortably inside at night with the central AC. I liked the fact that we could direct the AC vents to aim were we wanted so that if I was hot and my wife was cold, I could aim it right at me. The outdoor grill and water spigot were very convenient. Ours had electric tow hitch and stabilizers which made it so nice. We could set up and take down in 15 minutes. For the price, it was worth every penny and made of high quality materials like the fiberglass outside and cold weather underbelly. I was super happy with the investment we made and money we saved compared to staying in hotels. Show less

So, I purchased this trailer in August of 2021. It was absolutely what my wife and I were looking for. The floor plan was perfect! After about three years we noticed a hump on the floor near the slide. After some investigation, we found that the elbow on the outdoor shower was leaking. I fixed it myself and forgot about it. In 2025, the floor got much worse. After pealing the whole living room floor back, I found that it was ruined. Please note that I found this two months after the warranty ran out…. So I reluctantly replaced the floor myself. It took two months to dry out as it was very extensive. After completion I was very happy with the work I put into it. That is until now… it is now 2026. I just found it is still leaking near and around the slide. $40,000 for a pile of junk??? I have had many rv’s. Including trailers, motorhomes and campers. This, by far, is the WORSt tv I have ever purchased, new or used. Show less

This RV was a nightmare from the beginning. The dealership, Camping World, charged 1200$ for a prepping fee. Al lthe did was plug the unit in and open the slide outs. They didnt remove the pencil marks from the manufacturer, didnt put the sliding door on the rails from the master bedroom, didnt fill the propane tanks, and when my wife opened the outdoor kitchen, the refrigerator fell on her! The cheap tires, of course, blew out on the highway when I had the entire family out of a cross country vacation with it. I called the Good Sams insurance that came with the unit, and they left us high and dry in the middle of Jackson Mississippi at 11pm with a blown tire. I ended up having to rig the trucks jack and fix it myself. The furnace eats propane like its a crack addict. makes all sorts of noise. you can hear when your unit furnace kicks on from across the RV park. We are stuck with the loan on it, which Im sure Heartland doenst care, but please for the love of everything holy, do NOT buy this RV! Show less

Problems with furniture, cabinets, refrigerator, stove, etc. Beyond poor quality. Worst of all the underside of the steel frame is badly corroded after only five years. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy! I called heartland, and was told that the frame is not their responsibility. I contacted the frame manufacturer but they would not take responsibility either. Show less
