This RV Is good to live in its livable spacious living area which is really nice but one of the biggest flaws is has is how close the bathroom and bedrooms door are to each other you can get stuck at times when leaving the bathroom is you leave the bedroom door opened but overall it a super nice RV to live in. Pros: The floor plan is why I love it. It has that long couch with plenty of seating for a large family and sleeps 4 in back with a small dinette for them to play board games or do school work or play Legos. Plenty of indoor storage. 4 season. Cons: #1 - it tows TERRIBLE despite sway bars and repositioning cargo. Cracking a window was only thing that made negligible difference. No cross breeze in bedroom, I have now learned that I will never choose another RV of any sort without cross ventilation in the bedrooms. Couch material is subpar and quickly deteriorates. Only one outdoor storage. Fridge is 12V so not a good boondocking camper. LED lights on awning quickly went out. Outdoor kitchen, to use it, you need a stepstool. Grill being on opposite end of kitchen is a pain. Batteries run fridge and lights but not any outlets so boondocking again, not a thing if you need like a cpap machine unless you get a power bank or generator of sorts. We have enjoyed it despite any cons. Show less

It was love at first site for the wife and I. After 30 years in a tent we were ready to finally make the jump. What a disappointment!! While it looked great, had very nice options like a "big" fridge, nice bathroom and lot's of storage it turned out to be made so cheap it's no even funny. Roof leaked so many times I must have used at least 6 tubes of Docal. Then the rain would come in from the air conditioning. The electronic board sucks energy way more than what other campers told us. I'm 5 feet 10" and the bed is not long enough. The toilet started leaking after 2 years. Most screws screw into 1/8 cheap wood so it's easy for them to get loose. And I could go on. We spent over $4000 on repairs that should not have happened Not choosing a trailer with comfortable seating when it rains for a couple of days was another mistake. Don't count on the kitchen seating for that, and one bench became loose because.... the wood with the screws is not thick enough to have any structural support. There are smaller trailers out there that have more inside space and are better built. Show less

I bought a colt bullet 171rkct 2018 camper new from A&S rv in Midland michigan now out of business . Bad roof leak, walls soaked, floor soft, they sied it was from a spoiler that was added to the roof... It was In the shop the first year of ownership whyal I made payment's...... The nightmare gets worse from thair...... My advice to anyone is to get a private INSPECTION from a licensed inspector BEFORE signing ANYTHING if the dealership has a problem with this WALK NO RUN AWAY......... Show less

2018 Freedom express second owners on our second trip the left rear axle hanger bracket tore clean away from the frame and twisted the rear of the hanger brackets. We barely made it back home. This is obviously a design flaw an RV frame should never fail after only 8 years. Call Forest River (parent company) their reply was we don't build the frame and forwarded me to Lippert who also blew me off. Both companies refuse to be accountable for building a travel trailer with a terrible frame design. These Lippert frames are known to start cracking and start separating. Lippert and Forest River already have one frame recall in place its just a matter of time these shitty frames are also recalled let's hope it before some get killed. Come Forest River and Lippert own up you sold trailers with dangerous frames. Show less

We upgraded from an airstream to a Bigfoot travel trailer. The Bigfoot’s quality is far superior to any other camper we’ve stepped foot in, and believe me, we looked at over a dozen campers. Do your research and check out the differences.The Bigfoot also has the best functionality and layout, especially with the ability to walk around the bed. Show less

I bought my 2018 Arctic Fox new in Late 2017 from a dealer in Colorado. After getting familiar with it, I pulled it approximately 2,000 miles to Chattanooga Tennesse to begin my new job. After staying in it for about 6 months, I rented a home and stored the unit at my house to later use for occasional camping trips. I also used it over the years for multiple 2-week vacations. I would say that as a result, I know this unit very well, inside and out. After going through some pictures of all my trips, I would estimate that I have probably pulled the trailer over 20,000 miles. I've been coast to coast. From Port Townsend, WA to the Outer Banks for NC. My honest rating today, 05/27/2025: As I intended to use this trailer only for myself (one person), the layout was exactly what I wanted so I give it 5 out of 5 Stars. As far as any repairs, the only thing I've had to replace was a circuit board module located on top of the water heater. Cost was about 50 dollars. I still have the original 4 tires and have yet to use the spare. The air conditioning and heater units work extremely well in this unit as it's not very big. All systems have performed without issue. I like the fact that it's overall width is 8'6" and for that reason, I felt a slide-out was not nessecary. Show less

Great light weight trailer with sufficient ground clearance for lite off road use. my primary reason for this floor plan was separate bedroom with easy out on both sides with closets, electrical & USB. 2 entries, 2 batteries, 2 propane tanks, electric canopy, electric slider, electric lifts. Layout is can sleep up to 4 or 2 adults in living area and 2 in queen bed. Show less

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Do not purchase anything owned by thor which includes KZ. I purchased a new travel trailer in 2018 from KZ. I bought it to live in while traveling for work. Ac unit crapped out in under 30 days. Took another 30 days to get the dealership to replace. Didn't realize the dealership replaced it with a smaller unit until 3 months later. Just knew it wasn't cooling like it should. Called a mobile rv mechanic to check it out and he said it was too small for the square footage. Black water tank started leaking at 5 months. KZ customer service is a joke. Payed out of pocket to fix it. 1 side of fridge started having issues at 6 months. No help from KZ. Tank guages crapped out during same time period. Lots of little things I fixed or payed to have fixed. Fast forward to 3 years. While on the roof putting on a rv cover I bought, I noticed the roof bladder had several tears in it. Called KZ about it. They wanted pictures which I took and emailed to them. They asked when the last time I had the roof bladder serviced was. The minute I told them I had no clue that was a thing, no one ever told me that was something that needed done they said it voided any warranty due to lack of proper maintenance. Took my rv to a repair shop to get an estimate to fix the bladder. They said the tears were due to over stretching the rubber bladder from the factory. Apparently that's pretty common anymore. The factories cut them short to scrimp on material and have to overstretch to fit. Called KZ back and told them. They said it didn't matter, warranty was void due lack of maintenance. It cost me 8k out of pocket to replace the roof bladder. I now have a top of the line bladder with a 15 year warranty. No maintenance required. Long story short, DON'T BUY ANYTHING KZ OR MADE BY THOR. Show less

What do I like about this Camper??? The Opposing Slide Outs ~ The Center Island ~ The Ample Storage Space~ The Great Lighting ~ The Fireplace ~Ease of Cleaning ~ The Outdoor Shower ~ The Size Having opposing slide outs gives you more room than typical campers-makes it easy to move around- No claustrophobic feeling at all. With the table /chairs & recliner loveseat seating you are able to have company while you cook/entertain very comfortably. The Center Island has a sink and big counter which makes cooking, cleaning, and serving meals as well as displaying flowers very homelike. This island truly is an asset. It has tons of storage cabinets too! Speaking of cabinets- There are many cabinets inside the unit as well as storage areas outside the unit. The Kitchen/Dining/Living area has more than ten cabinets. The center island has cabinets at the center under the sink, another just to the left for the garbage (you can access it through the counter with a removable insert if you desire) Furthermore on each end of the island there is a pull-out cabinet shelf unit too. A large pantry cabinet with three big shelves for all your food, paper supplies, etc. And two side cabinets for your use. You have three big drawers under the counter next to the oven/stove top/microwave area. Above another cabinet for dishes/cups/glasses. The oven has an oven drawer too. Over the recliner loveseat you have more cabinets to store items. There is also a lift up seat in the loveseat for storage. In the bathroom, there are three cabinets. One huge, a big one, and one under the sink. Plus, a medicine cabinet and a drawer too! All have shelving to utilize efficiently. Plenty of room for towels, lotions, Q-tips, paper goods, and more. The shower has a hand-held shower wand perfect for getting in all those hard-to-get places with ease. The bedroom has big cabinets on either side of the bed as well as over the bed, with shelving. One side additionally has a small table with a drawer. The head board is very functional. Charging USB plugs as well as electrical plugs too. The shelf is great for books, tissues, phones etc. The bed lifts up to reveal a huge storage area with a small safe. We added hooks to hang coats, hats, and other items on two of the walls-More storage!! The TV turns to either face the living area or the bedroom. The TV/Music receiver console has full power, USB adapters and three-zones of speakers-Living Area/Bedroom/Outside. The Fireplace is wonderful for ambiance as well as heat. Used many times to warm-up the unit on cool mornings/days. Works efficiently. The lighting in this camper is well thought out. LED/sconces/over the table + counter/extras at cabinets to see inside/ small directional ones to use in the living area as well as bedroom. With a few skylights to further light. A few of the outside storage areas have lights too! Cleaning is easy with the vinyl flooring. It is plank style-looks like real wood. Brooms and mops effortlessly. The Outside Shower~ Hot & Cold Water ~ When you come home from the beach or riding your UTV in dust all day you’re able to get the main dirt off you before you enter your camper. Works great on dogs too! The size of this unit makes it very easy to pull and maneuver about the camp ground, gas stations, and parking lots. This camper is bigger than it looks. Show less
