Bought this trailer in 2017 brand new. The day I took possess I had the spot weld the drop down legs as the pull pin was bringing the internals out as well on about every corner. Shower holder fell off wall, wasn’t screwed into anything but the wall board which is very thin. Roller bearings on the roll out trashcan came out, the back of the supports weren’t braces on both sides allowing it to move up and down independent of each side. At the two year mark the converter went out and then the refrigerator cooling unit went out. The roof was delaminating and the nails were coming loose underneath the membrane and trying to poke through. Then the water from snow and rain started seeping under the fiberglass shell. It was nothing but a money pit. The slides wouldn’t always go in evenly and I had to take that for work as well. If you buy one expect to budget another $250 a month for repairs above the monthly payment . I will never buy another keystone product again. I purchased a 1995 Nash that I have had no issues with. What surprised me is the Nash toilet still will hold water unlike the keystone. Show less

This was our 2nd RV. Purchased new in 2017. One trip to Luray Caverns and the frame of the schwintek slide out was separating from the outside wall. This was noted while fueling my SUV. I tightened the screws multiple times before getting home. Whole trip was < 1000 miles. I bought it from a dealership about 150 miles from my home. This was when I discovered, at least in DE, that they won’t work on it unless they sold it. Called Forest River & they told me they knew of the problem. Blamed (I guess all 180’s that year) on improper installation. I was so fed up I traded it on a used 2015 Cruiser RV Fun Finder. Went cross country in that with no issues. There is a lot online about R-Pods walls separating from the frame. Dig deep enough and you’ll find mostly negative reviews. Seems most good reviews are newer RV’s. I wonder if they’ve even been used yet. The concept and floor plan was good. Quality is poor, which I have found is rampant throughout the industry. I wouldn’t buy new & used is somebody trying to get rid of a problem at your expense. Show less

It's 2026 and I bought this RV new in 2017. We love all the features and open floor plan. It's been extremely durable and impervious to the weather without any leaks or mechanical issues. The salespeople at the dealership emphasized how well built these trailers by Evergreen are and they are worth the extra money if you plan on keeping it for a long time. I would highly recommend owning one of these lightweight RV's over other lesser quality brands. Show less

TRY TO SAVE MONEY BY NOT INSTALLING EIGHT OF THE TWELVE MOUNTING BOLTS, RESULTING IN FAILURE OF THE BASEMENT TRAY FALLING OUT ONTO YOUR LEGS AND FEET. DO NOT PURCHASE A HOST CAMPER. BECAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT OTHER SAFETY SHORTCUTS IN INSTALL, WE'RE TAKEN. EXTREMELY NEGLIGENT. Show less

** BUYER BEWARE ** To ANYONE looking to purchase a KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL, please BEWARE!! We have experienced our THIRD CATASTROPHIC SUSPENSION FAILURE on our Keystone Montana 3790RD 5th wheel which involved the leaf springs snapping for the THIRD time, which then caused the second axle on the unit to be forcefully jammed up into the the chassis causing significant damage to the underbelly of our unit, along with CUTTING OUR BREAK LINES causing us to lose the brakes on our trailer while going down an overpass on a highway. We have been informed by the repair shop that we are EXTREMELY lucky there was not a fatality and that if they repair it, the chances of it happening again are EXTREMELY high and just a matter of time until there is a fatality with the unit. We tried reaching out to Keystone RV and Thor Industries via letter, and all we received was an extremely rude call from the VP of Service Operations, Garrett Carolis, telling us our request for assistance was not warranted and that our letter was an "extremely unrealistic expectation and will not happen." He also said that Keystone RV will NOT financially assist in anyway and that we are "absurd" for even asking. Keystone is also fully aware that I had a PICC line in my arm for IV medication and we were stranded on the side of the road for over 6 hours because of their manufacturing defects. We are still stranded, and have been for almost 2 weeks, in the town we were passing through when the incident happened because the repairs are now up to $10,000 and with the safety warning of taking it back on the road, we are extremely concerned. We just want to make sure ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL is aware of what happened to us and the absolute NIGHTMARE we are dealing with because of the terrible manufacturing of our KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL. You would think that for the price paid you would get quality interior. The couch is fake leather which in all units, PEALS!! Unreal to have such cheap furniture that doesn't hold up. Will for sure NEVER buy Thor again. The cabinets are cheap as well, c'mon - surely for what we have to pay you can do better. Show less

My husband and I have loved traveling the country in this comfortable home on wheels. With power assist awnings and slides, solar power and satellite access, easy tank management and car towing option, we have plugged into shore power at state parks, or stayed out for a week or more on solar power and onboard water/waste tanks. One propane tank lasts all summer. The vehicle's powertrain provides ample power and a smooth ride whether we are in mountainous terrain or putting miles behind us on the plains. Vent fans and lots of windows maintain fresh air inside, and insulated window inserts, window coverings and a heavy drape between the cab and coach help manage extreme temperatures and privacy concerns. The gas stove/microwave/convection oven make food prep quick and easy, a big fridge/freezer keeps two weeks worth of provisions fresh. Ample counterspace plus double sinks makes cleanup a snap. With slides out, there's plenty of room for a workout. Sound systems, satellite availability and multiple TVs provide entertainment options. Exterior cameras make navigation and parking easy. We kept the coach garaged during winter months. No more warranty but a good service shop has kept her in top shape with twice/year inspections and repairs. Show less

We bought this rv used and have loved it. We partially full time in it for work and pleasure. We travel the USA. It's been great. We love the layout. We have had to do minor repair here and there over 60k miles as one does with all motorhome. We found berkshire service to be extremely easy to work with to get parts and support. The online community has also been a great resource. We recently toured a bunch of new rv and decided we like our current floorplan the best. It works very well for us. Show less

Bought new. Needed a few tweaks (TV & stereo not connected) but love the colors & layout. While traveling can access bathrm, bedrm & fridge with slides in for quick stops. Stove w/oven & microwave above.Nice size fridge & freezer and lots of storage with pantry & around entertainment center. Needs electrical outlets on table/sofa slideout area. Plenty of outlets in bunk & bedroom. Bunkhouse is great for the kids. Table down was play area away from main dining and lots of room & storage for kids & friends. Growing teens still fit on bunks. Was considering using as office/storage when teens outgrew us. Full queen main bed with privacy & storage. Nice layout. Ceilings are curved giving more headroom. Same with shower. Outside kitchen & entertainment areas are nice if you like to stay outside. Outside shower is terrific for kids, pets or beachy cleanup. Superlite tows easily even with F150 truck. Heated underbelly allows for longer camping season. Show less

This RV is top in its class, providing comfort while also offering ample space. This floorplan keeps the living forward and sleeping in the rear, private curtain separates the bedroom from the living space. Equipped with 4 solar panels and generator, its a great get-a-way vehicle. Show less
