This was our 2nd RV. Purchased new in 2017. One trip to Luray Caverns and the frame of the schwintek slide out was separating from the outside wall. This was noted while fueling my SUV. I tightened the screws multiple times before getting home. Whole trip was < 1000 miles. I bought it from a dealership about 150 miles from my home. This was when I discovered, at least in DE, that they won’t work on it unless they sold it. Called Forest River & they told me they knew of the problem. Blamed (I guess all 180’s that year) on improper installation. I was so fed up I traded it on a used 2015 Cruiser RV Fun Finder. Went cross country in that with no issues. There is a lot online about R-Pods walls separating from the frame. Dig deep enough and you’ll find mostly negative reviews. Seems most good reviews are newer RV’s. I wonder if they’ve even been used yet. The concept and floor plan was good. Quality is poor, which I have found is rampant throughout the industry. I wouldn’t buy new & used is somebody trying to get rid of a problem at your expense.

It's 2026 and I bought this RV new in 2017. We love all the features and open floor plan. It's been extremely durable and impervious to the weather without any leaks or mechanical issues. The salespeople at the dealership emphasized how well built these trailers by Evergreen are and they are worth the extra money if you plan on keeping it for a long time. I would highly recommend owning one of these lightweight RV's over other lesser quality brands.

Bought new. Needed a few tweaks (TV & stereo not connected) but love the colors & layout. While traveling can access bathrm, bedrm & fridge with slides in for quick stops. Stove w/oven & microwave above.Nice size fridge & freezer and lots of storage with pantry & around entertainment center. Needs electrical outlets on table/sofa slideout area. Plenty of outlets in bunk & bedroom. Bunkhouse is great for the kids. Table down was play area away from main dining and lots of room & storage for kids & friends. Growing teens still fit on bunks. Was considering using as office/storage when teens outgrew us. Full queen main bed with privacy & storage. Nice layout. Ceilings are curved giving more headroom. Same with shower. Outside kitchen & entertainment areas are nice if you like to stay outside. Outside shower is terrific for kids, pets or beachy cleanup. Superlite tows easily even with F150 truck. Heated underbelly allows for longer camping season.

This A framed camper sets up in seconds, it tows like a dream, no wind resistance and has everything you need. The king size bed is very comfortable, the dinette table folds down and forms the base for another single bed. Keep warm or cool with the furnace & air conditioner. The flushable toilet and cassette are very convenient, don't need to disconnect or bring trailer to waste station to dump. Has lots of storage space and nice outside barbecue that hooks to the side of unit. Can easily be towed by most SUV's and pick up trucks. Spare tire is also handy if needed. This unit is easy to winterize and store. Overall I do love this camper, no complaints and everything works well. No leaks. Nice interior lighting.

This is a great mid-sized camper. No, it does not have a slide, but we traveled with two adults and two 50lb dogs and had plenty of room. The double axil and steel stabilizer bars ensure an easy tow with very minimal sway. I rated the Overall Quality a four because it's a used 2017 camper with a few dings here and there, but we have replaced a lot via the dealer in Kings Mt. NC and by us. It comes with an electrical hookup that converts it from campsite hookup amp to household hookup amp. This allows us to have lights when it's parked plus, we can turn on the refrigerator/freezer and day before we leave on a trip so it will be ready for food on the day of the trip. The only you can't run on house amp is the A/C.

This might be the perfect trailer for us. Super lightweight, can tow easily with my Toyota Highlander - I've been on 9% grades in the Rockies with no complaints. Surprisingly well appointed with AC, furnace, wet bath, solar prep, outdoor outlets and propane port. What I really love is the floor plan. Despite the small size and easy pull, once we get to camp the fold out bed in the back gives us a nearly king size bed and retains the two bunks up front. We mainly park and explore but if we're stuck inside the trailer for some reason, the big bed folds up into a dinnete with plenty of game or eating space for four. Mechanically it's been great, I was expecting a ton of maintainence and repair but the only issue I have ever had was needing to replace the watter pump last year. It's been well maintained but feels like its got more than a decade of life left after our 8 years with it so far.

In 2018 we bought this Heartland Wilderness 27.5. BRAIN NEW. To start with. We found issues when we did the walk through on it. The dealer said NO problem we'll schedule to fix them. Couldn't get a spot scheduled for six mths. When it was about time to get the repairs. The dealer was moving their shop so we were put off for 4 mths. waiting to get a spot, again 6 mths. out. Now the warranty is off. And we've experienced a leak in one of the slides. And the screws at the front roof seem are popping. And nails in the paneling are popping. Windows leaking. No problem we had paid for the extended warranty. So we thought. Then we were told that the manufactured defects aren't covered by extended warranty. Meanwhile more problems. When we did get it into the shop. The dealer spent 4 mths blowing smoke UOA and only connected 2 lights that had not worked from day one. At that point they were closing their shop because of Covid. Since then we've fixed some of the roof leeks ourself. And started to work on some of the other problems. When upgrading lighting we've discovered no insulation in a lot of the ceiling. Same thing in walls. Hole stud spaces with NO insulation at all. In inspecting windows leeks we've found more broke screws. Like in the roof. Seems like over torking was popular everywhere. We had bought this trailer for OUR retirement. Paid top dollar thinking we were getting a quality trailer. WE DID NOT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TRAILER OR THIS MANUFACTURE FOR ANYTHING.
