We have owned one of these for 6 years and never had an issue, only 4 stars on factory warranty because never used that service. We traveled around the western states every winter and truly enjoyed living in this model. We brought our bicycles and my husband's motorcycle and were able to enjoy them many places. Show less

Bought my Toy Hauler brand new. Love the floor plan. I did remove the fold down beds in the rear and replaced with 2 nice recliners. Overall the Toy Hauler has been fun to own. Problem now is the Alpha TPO roof has failed and I need to replace rotten wood and install a new membrane. Alpha Systems are supposed to be warranteed for 12 years and like all of the RV companies I have yet to hear back from them in regards to the warranty. I have inspected, washed and caulked every year. When not in use I have a very expensive waterproof Cover for it. Anyone else have a Alpha Systems roof failer. ?? Show less

Great unit used for towing my can am Spyder motorcycle across multiple states and parts of Canada Only real issue is the bed being a little difficult to make do to the position Of the bed and front walls Very much enjoy using my trailer every other weekend April thru November Show less

Great floor plan. Mediocre to poor finish workmanship (lots of missing fasteners and screws). The biggest problem is the totally inadequate structural design of the suspension system. This is the 4th time having a suspension / frame failure repaired. Currently having the entire frame beefed up and completely rebuilt. The axles, hubs, wheels and tires are appropriately sized but the frame they are attached to is structurally under sized and completely inadequate. Have spent $20,000 getting the trailer capable of surviving traveling US 40 and US 10 through Arizona. Show less

The seam between the roof and back wall has failed in allowing a considerable abount of water to run between the walls. There was no sign of a leak as the water was draining underneath and we only discovered the problem when one of the wall mounted lights quit working. The dealer said that this is a common problem as did other dealers in our area. No dealer wanted to deal with it and Winnebago is not repsonding to my calls nor the on line contact form. Indpendant repair shops have estimated the material cost to be in the range of $2,500 to $3000 with labour costs more than double that figure. We have quotes to do the job from $5,500 to $10,000 and we have to remove the trailer from the park and take it to a repair shop. This is a 2017 model and due to my wifes health we have no travelled with it . It is essentially used as a part model. What should we do? Show less

We bought a new 427RW in 2017. It is a beautiful trailer, especially when it comes to the full body paint for which I opted. Pulling the unit from Ohio where I purchased back to Pennsylvania where I live was exciting. Dozens of times during the journey, my factory brake controller reported loss of brake connection. Fantastic! Towing a 17,000lb + trailer in the PA mountains with no trailer brakes is exhilarating! The trip was rather stressful. We decided to spend our first night on the return at a campground along the way. Everything appeared to function as it should, but then came a heavy rainstorm that night. During the storm, I noticed water dripping from the bottom of the two smaller kitchen windows. We placed towels on the counter, and would address the issue upon returning home, The next morning when we were ready to leave, the main living room slide would not come in. I messed around with it for an hour and could not get it to retract. Finally, when I was ready to give up and call a mobile RV tech, it came in. Once home, I took the unit to a local RV dealer to have my issues addressed under warranty. The dealer stated all issues were repaired. The brakes had a loose wire which was causing the brakes to short out. No explanation provided for window and slide issues. Bottom line, the slide continued to misbehave, and the water leak caused delamination of my sidewall under the leaking windows. Heartland refused to address either of these issues. I have had many other issues, most minor in nature and I resolved them myself. My skills are as good or better than what you will find at many of your local RV shops. I have been fortunate enough that none of my cabinets or trim have fallen off. Carpet they install is garbage and you will be lucky if you get one good year out of it. But the biggest issue, is the sidewall delamination, especially on a painted unit because it looks terrible. Obviously, Heartland does an inferior job sealing their windows. I have three separate areas on the door side of my RV that have delaminated. All are under windows. The factory installer who did the door side windows was either new, drunk or on drugs. The non-door side has been fine. This is a recurring issue with Heartland. If you do not believe me, take a walk around your campground and look for delamination on Heartland rigs. It is everywhere. There is a Landmark in the park I am at now, where the entire side of the unit is covered with delaminated areas. And Landmark is their flagship product! I have seen others as well, Cyclones, other Road Warriors, Prowlers etc. They are everywhere. Personally, I think all owners of Heartland delaminated RVs should band together and file a Class Action lawsuit against the company. Would I buy this brand again. That is a big NO! Do yourself a favor and save a ton of anguish, stress, and regret. Shop for another brand. Do your research. I thought I had done mine, but boy was I wrong. If you end up buying a Heartland and you experience these issues, remember one thing, "I told you so!" Safe Travels! Show less

Very well-made toy hauler, we've owned ours for over 5 years and had nothing to fix except a few minor issues. All the major components/equipment (generator, a/c, heater, fridge etc) have worked flawlessly. I'm 6'3" and the king size bed and large amount of headroom for walking around are great. The construction is top-notch compared to some of the cheaper travel trailers out there. We've camped in very cold temps in the mountains in Colorado with no concern since it has a heated/enclosed underbelly. Show less

Had this 40GS toy hauler custom built in Perris, CA. (Manufacturer facility). Had a few issues on the shake out like most 5th wheel toy haulers experience. Had excellent customer service from Richardsons (Dealer) and Genesis manufacturer. Have put several thousand miles and unit is solid as the day we purchased. Highly recommend. Show less

We have loved our Cyclone 4250! We have used it in both cold weather locations Tennessee/ Georgia Mountains and warm weather locations like Blue Key FL. We often have had two families of 4 easily vacationing together. The second half bath is a huge convenience. Lots of storage in the garage and even fits our 144” side by side. It’s porches have made NASCAR spots in the infield a great immersive experience! Full size fridge and central vac! Show less

We have loved this RV for the spacious floor plan, tremendous storage, ease of set up and tear down, and comfort. We searched and searched for the perfect RV and this was definitely the one! Warranty work (the little that was needed) was handled quickly and professionally! Show less
