Bought this trailer in 2017 brand new. The day I took possess I had the spot weld the drop down legs as the pull pin was bringing the internals out as well on about every corner. Shower holder fell off wall, wasn’t screwed into anything but the wall board which is very thin. Roller bearings on the roll out trashcan came out, the back of the supports weren’t braces on both sides allowing it to move up and down independent of each side. At the two year mark the converter went out and then the refrigerator cooling unit went out. The roof was delaminating and the nails were coming loose underneath the membrane and trying to poke through. Then the water from snow and rain started seeping under the fiberglass shell. It was nothing but a money pit. The slides wouldn’t always go in evenly and I had to take that for work as well. If you buy one expect to budget another $250 a month for repairs above the monthly payment . I will never buy another keystone product again. I purchased a 1995 Nash that I have had no issues with. What surprised me is the Nash toilet still will hold water unlike the keystone.

** BUYER BEWARE ** To ANYONE looking to purchase a KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL, please BEWARE!! We have experienced our THIRD CATASTROPHIC SUSPENSION FAILURE on our Keystone Montana 3790RD 5th wheel which involved the leaf springs snapping for the THIRD time, which then caused the second axle on the unit to be forcefully jammed up into the the chassis causing significant damage to the underbelly of our unit, along with CUTTING OUR BREAK LINES causing us to lose the brakes on our trailer while going down an overpass on a highway. We have been informed by the repair shop that we are EXTREMELY lucky there was not a fatality and that if they repair it, the chances of it happening again are EXTREMELY high and just a matter of time until there is a fatality with the unit. We tried reaching out to Keystone RV and Thor Industries via letter, and all we received was an extremely rude call from the VP of Service Operations, Garrett Carolis, telling us our request for assistance was not warranted and that our letter was an "extremely unrealistic expectation and will not happen." He also said that Keystone RV will NOT financially assist in anyway and that we are "absurd" for even asking. Keystone is also fully aware that I had a PICC line in my arm for IV medication and we were stranded on the side of the road for over 6 hours because of their manufacturing defects. We are still stranded, and have been for almost 2 weeks, in the town we were passing through when the incident happened because the repairs are now up to $10,000 and with the safety warning of taking it back on the road, we are extremely concerned. We just want to make sure ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL is aware of what happened to us and the absolute NIGHTMARE we are dealing with because of the terrible manufacturing of our KEYSTONE MONTANA 5th WHEEL. Please travel safe y'all.

My wife and I purchased this RV in June of 2016. We didn't even get it off the dealer lot before we had problems with it. The bedroom AC was leaking and shorted out the bedrood TV. Then the brakes were not working. Later we had problems with the hydraulic pump cutting off during use. Black and Bath holding tanks were not mounted properly and came loose. Biggest problem was the kitchen slide out. It was determined that the frame around the slide out had separate, causing the slide out to malfunction. Keystone agreed to make repairs and had us take the trailer to Holiday World, a trip of 160 miles one way. We are now finding out that the frame was never repaired and Keystone is not helping. Even had one phone tech tell me the trouble was caused by my 5th wheel hitch. She also refused to let me talk to her supervisor. This trailer was a 1st year model. I believe that this particular trailer was rushed through manufacturing and was never intended to be sold. I have received no comment from Keystone regarding that issue. We bought the trailer as we like the floor plan and wanted it to be our last trailer. It will be our last as it is going to bankrupt me.

I absolutely love this unit. It is the second Fifth Wheel I have owned and I like everything about it. The Floor Plan is perfect for our needs. The quality is generally quite good and it is extremely comfortable. Hooking up and unhooking for either a short or extended stay is very easy and without stress. It generally drives as if it were not even there but I do maintain lower speeds in compliance with the 65 mph speed limitation for RV tires.

We purchased this as it was to be out last RV. It will be because it is about to bankrupt us. We didn't even get this trailer off the lot because the brakes didn't work. The bedroom TV had shorted because the AC unit was dripping water on it. Later found the two AC units were not programmed correctly from the factory, causing the living room unit to turn off prematurely. Later had trouble with the kitchen slide out rubbing on the floor. This was found under warranty, but the dealer did nothing to fix it. Later found the frame had separated at the slide out. Keystone refused to deal with a local repair shop because they were not an authorized Keystone dealer. They recommended I take the trailer to Holiday World, 160 miles away. Had to make a total of four trips to Holiday World as the slide out was leaking after the "repairs". Began having trouble with the slideout again and took it back to my local repair shop, who was now an authorized Keystone facility. They told me the frame had never been repaired. Contacted Keystone who denied any further assistance as they say too much time had passed. I must also mention that the local repair facility found water leaking from the area of the holding tanks. I agreed to have them remove the lining under the trailer. They found both the black tank and bath grey tank had been installed incorrectly. The black tank had rubbed a hole in it which explains the bad smell we had been noticing. Totally unsatisfied with Keystone and would not recommend them to anyone.

We purchased this RV after 3 years of going to several large RV shows in Hershey, PA until we found exactly what we wanted. We had to be able to travel once we located in a site, so we did not want a motor home Class A or a Class C, since that would require us to tow a car. The 5th Wheels provide more room and more stability, and allow us to leave the premised. We did not want to waste our precious time using laundry facilites, so a MUST for us was an RV able to accomodate a quality Washer and Dryer. We found this in our Forest River Wildcat! For 2 people, the space ismore than perfect. We have even used the pull-out sofa for company a few times and once everyone is awake, it is again quite roomy. A feature that was a 'must' was a big rear window. Backing into a site that overlooks the ocean is the reasons we chose a particular location. It's like having waterfront property all across the country! The heat ssytem is great - and the added electic fireplace provides just enough heat to take the 'nip' out of the air on a colder Spring or Autumn morning. And the ACs are so effecient, we hardly need the 2nd bedroom unit was added. We found this RV had EVERYTHING we could ever have wanted!

The Voltage is a beautiful 5th wheel but it is built very poorly. We were left stuck at a campground because the levelers wouldn’t go back up and another time because the slide out system broke and we couldn’t get it to go back in. Every camping trip something broke down and I’m talking thousands and thousands of dollars to repair all of the different issues. We only had it a few months when we took it in to get some of the issues resolved they wouldn’t do anything because they said it was excessively used …we camped in it … that’s all. I would not recommend the Voltage to anyone.

We started in a Teton then upgraded to a 2010 Mobile Suites and finally this 2017 Mobile Suites. We special ordered it so it has a lot of extras and we were lucky enough to be where we went to the factory every day as it was being built and checked everything out. It is a great unit and we hate selling it but it’s time.
