Bought this in Tucson AZ in 2018 as new, dealership did all the trailer hitch install filled water tanks (150 gallons) and sent me on my way. I live in New Mexico and when I got home went to drain the water tank's, but NO DRAIN WAS EVER INSTALLED!!! Had to do that myself since I was not driving 300 miles to go back. Next was no drawers for silverware so had to build those myself. No lighting inside pantry storage areas, again had to do that, now latest issue is a leak on the hot water line to the tub. Water lines run between the tub and outside wall, so its either totally take out the tub/shower and glass doors or try to re-route the water lines to the other side of the tub. Overall experience with this unit/company - I will NEVER AGAIN BUY ONE OF THEIR TRAILERS!!!!! Show less

Purchased new in 2016 (September) from at the time the only dealer in Ontario. PDI was poorly done which as it turns out was only the beginning of the poor quality and engineering of this unit. We do really like the layout and livability of this unit and have used it extensively in Ontario as well as in the USA. Normal highway,interstate and campground driving. Since new we have replaced taps, all tires (China Bombs),light fixture in kitchen, equalizers twice, all leaf springs, rear ladder separated from trailer ( I weigh 185 lbs), front passenger side slide motor ,water damage in rear outdoor kitchen ( floor destroyed ). Door for fridge access outside was improperly installed . Now we have structural failure in front drivers side and delaminating wall that needs to be repaired this winter. Main brain for auto level system failed. All in nearly $30000 in bills when all in. Grand Design basically says so said sucks to be you. We have traded it in for a 2 year newer other brand and will never deal with this company again. Amazing marketers, lousy builder !!! Show less

I cannot stand companies that don't build quality when you're talking about a six figure purchase. Wife and I graduated from a WELL WEATHERED 90s rv to this toyhauler 5th wheel. The engineering IMMEDIATELY stood out as nowhere near the quality of our 90s unit. Within months air vents disintegrated, no help. The entire Dometic thermostat system is so effing TERRIBLY designed, you have to be a rocket scientist to learn it. pluss, the on board generator won't even run all 3 ac units, or even heat the entire trailer. THE low quality and idiot engineering limits to 1 cabin ....what idiots do this? Do they not understand the WHOLE trailer is used, ALL the time and people dry camp ALL THE TIME, and a generator should heat or cool the ENTIRE TRAILER, ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME?!?!. My wife and I miss our simpler, more efficient unit and were so hoodwinked by the dealers....we won't make the same mistake again. We are going to sell our unit and go simpler. I forgot to mention that after the 1st week, one slide mechanism went out and still isn't working properly after repair. Just a garbage unit for the money...save yourselves the trouble. I have had nothing but problems with this toyhaller from day 1. Eclipse customer service is useless! Give them the VIN # and they can't tell you anything but give you another phone#to call that nobody answers! Never again would I purchase anything that has their name on it! Hangers broke after tire blowout. If you put an extra pillow you have exceeded your load capacity! Junk! Show less

I used my toy hauler to haul my bike and my golf cart, not at the same time to rallies. First the back room was so hot we couldn’t use it until we added another AC , left my golf cart in the back of the trailer for a week then saw a crack west to east by the door going into the back, trim has been falling off, then the motor on the awning went out , only one speaker works outside wiring issues, a tire blows out , the wall behind the stove is leaking so the counter top is buckled up, know the floor in the back room is so soft you can’t put anything in the back. So I started pulling up the floor and it is made of press board. The floor was getting wet from underneath. This has been a night mare after the first year warranty went out. My toy hauler has only been used about 10 times and the rest of the time it sets on a slab in my back yard Show less

This camper is very user friendly. We have stayed 3 weeks in it and always felt comfortable. Towing the camper I recommend a 3/4 ton. The warranty has expired. We are very comfortable camping in this camper both in and off the grid however, we out here the garage with our new purchase. Show less

This toyhauler is versatile, easy to tow, and has nice features like the power awning. It will fit two Harleys with room to spare. Exceptional quality construction. The power queen size bunk in the rear is nice with the ramp door open and screen pulled down in summer for sleeping. The shower is a good size. Show less

The overall quality on the exterior is great,generator works well and used more then we expected. Interior layout works well with our needs. The most disappointing item is the material used on the sofa and seats in the garage area, salesmen kept calling it leather which is actually plastic coated fabric that has been peeling of worst then a bad day at the beach, people often ask to come see inside our rig but after seeing our sofa change their minds, we use to show off the heated recliner with the message mode and everyone loved it, now we vacuum everyone off when they get up.we have called Dutchman for help with this problem and was told they could sell us another sofa at a reduced price $2500.00 plus shipping of course, after spending 82,000 for the Unit I would hope it to outlast the payment period. The voltage is our fifth fifth wheel and has been a good unit we wash and wax it a few times a year and is garage kept when not in use. Show less

Please do not buy from Heartland, their customer service suck. They will not stand behind their product when something goes wrong. If you do call them, they will give you the run around. Please look at other brands. Show less

Warranties with Forest River are above and beyond. Our roof was leaking and caused patricidal delamination which Forest River replaced the roof and put all new side walls on. We didn't pay a penny. So our RV is a 2020 on a 2016 frame. I won't buy any other product than a Forest River Product. The 13 foot garage makes use for an office, pantry, extra closet and chest freezer when staying a place for up to a year. Theater seating with fire place and entertainment center making movie watching enjoyable. The loft above make for extra storage when you don't have the grandchildren with. Show less
