I I purchased an RV and was immediately captivated by this floor plan. If you have children or a large family, this RV provides ample space for enjoyable family trips. It tows smoothly without any issues, which is a testament to its quality. Since this is my first fifth wheel, I don’t have much to compare it to, but it surpasses any bumper pull I’ve owned.

We have a 2013 Redwood 36fl fifth wheel. We've thoroughly enjoyed camping and traveling in this fifth wheel. It's a residential living camper. We are not full timers, just traveled occasionally in it.
It would be great for someone wanting to full time in. It's spacious and very comfortable, like home. We've maintained any problems that arose, which do in all RV vehicles. After all, it is a rolling earthquake, depending on the highways you travel on. It's like our vehicles or our bodies.... when something breaks or deteriorates, you fix it or go to the doctor. It's like anything, maintain it and it will serve you well. We've never had problems with leaking or floors weakening. Keep it under a shed and she will serve you a long time. Ours is like new because we take care of it. We have no complaints. Warranty work was honored and serviced well. We do believe that 2013 was one of the better years to have a Redwood built. The quality is pristine. And the front living room makes it so cozy and feel like home away from home.

We have owned this RV since new and the 1st thing I had to do was mouse proof it by spraying foam in the opening underneath and then had to add a door in the storage area to get access to the water pump. When I cut to add a door I saw just how well hidden the poor workmanship was as saw dust left behind and hacked out hole on most of the places where line past through. Knowing the steep asking price you would think they would pay a little more wage to hire a staff that cares.
Never did talk to the factory about warranty just had to go back the dealer for a manual back-up front jack access hole and to replace the sound system that the speaker never did work right or sound good as far as clarity.
From my experience and reading reviews on the workmanship of the cougars and although the floor plans did almost sell us we decided to stay away from them.

Purchased a 2013, 37foot, Heartland Elkridge 5th wheel for 33k Canadian. Not only is it drafty, the quality is questionable. I had to do repairs to the furnace motherboard and water pump in the first 4 months. Since then the breakdowns just keep coming. I have had to replace the toilet, the converter, the thermostat, an ignition switch for the stove, the propane hook-ups, outer lights, GFI, and need to yet replace the fireplace,
A rat then ate holes in the black and gray water tanks so ordering replacements from Heartland was an exercise in total frustration. It was as if a customer sank the the very bottom of their list in who to provide service and information. Once the 2 tanks arrived, $1200 later, when the technician went to install them, he realized the manufacturer had sent mirror copies of both tanks. No refund available, of course! So customer service gets an F for failure, quality gets a D- based on all I have replaced on a unit that isn't even 10 years old.

We've had many different rv units, none with the
bad quality of of this Cardinal, which we thought was a top of the line unit. Too many issues to mention, but WORST is using interior drywall screws to attach the slide out rubbers that keeps water out. As they deteriorated, rusted and pulled away, unknown to us until inside paneling stated falling apart. Cant believe a company would be that stupid. SO IF IN THE MARKET FOR AN RV, RECOMMEND AVOIDING FOREST RIVER.
