We lived in our used Safari Cheetah for 2 + years full time. We loved every minute. The set up was perfect for 2 and could have easily managed 2 more if we swapped the recliners for a sleeper sofa. The engine was strong and smooth the entire time. The room and MASSIVE AMOUNT of storage was incredible. We traveled all over the USA in such comfort. For two people or a small family - you can't beat this Class A. It's like an apartment on wheels. We towed a 4 dr Jeep Wrangler as well as 2 E Bikes on the back. Show less

This has been a phenomenal RV. We stayed it in for 2 straight weeks and never felt claustrophobic or anything. Quality craftsmanship in all aspects of it. Felt sturdy and safe while driving and camping. Extreme amount of storage inside and out. Was able to bring everything we needed and then some. Show less

I have had 11 class A motor homes over the last 40 years/ 3 diesels. I lean towards Monaco and Fleetwood products hands down. They are the best built and the least problems. There floor plans are great. Never had a warranty so I couldn't rate it. Show less

This model is excellent for families or couples. We have a total of eleven and a half years experience with American Coach and Fleetwood. The engine and chassis are the best rated on the market. We have traveled the Canadian Rockies, US Rockies, Smoky Mountains, Appalachian Trail, East coast to West Coast, and Canada to to the Gulf. All travels with full power and excellent performance. Easy set up when docking, leveling, and utility connecting. All appliances, A/C, furnace, hot water heater in great operating condition. Thermostat, water heater electrical board and bypass value replaced, skylight in Shower replaced , Refrigerators electronic board and freezing unit replaced, all seals on roof recently replaced, This coach is a dream to handle and the ride is smooth and comfortable. We have towed a Jeep Wrangler using a Blue Ox tow bar and the hook ups are simple and fast. Show less

First time owners who were a little intimidated about “operations” but found this bad boy basically runs itself. All the hookups were super easy and we bought 3 new batteries which were easy to hookup. The RV is far more spacious than we thought it would be. It’s like a small condo on wheels. It drives on now, but we’re buying a seat bar ($300) because everyone says it makes driving 10x easier. We spent 30min in the mall parking lot learning how to take the curves and even parallel park and then we HIT THE ROAD!!!! Show less

Pros Very easy to drive. The GM engine is very powerful and reliable. We have lived in our Newmar in the summers for the last 20 years and we love it. Scottsdale is has excellent features. Like pocket doors in the Split Bath, Big Frig, Two ACs, Very little maintainen required. Great shades, Plenty of Storage, 50amp service, I installed new Flat screen TVs and an On Demand Ht Water heater. We Love it. Two Thumbs Up! Show less

This Newmar Essex has been an absolute Pleasure to Own Since New when we took factory Delivery. It Drives and Performs with the 500 Cummins absolutely Beautiful! This Amish Built Newmar Coach is in my Opinion the absolute Best When it comes to Overall Fit and Finish! The Newmar Paint process is tops in the RV industry! 😎🇺🇸👍 Show less

It was a delightful way to see the country, visit friends and relatives, relax for a weekend or a couple weeks, or even just to drive! It had all the power we ever needed, even going up the Grapevine on I-5 near LA, the Siskyous in norther CA, or the grades we encountered in the Rockies. We were fully loaded and towing a mid-size car. We had our own space when it was just the two of us, and had room for friends to join us. The refrigerator was bigger than the residential refrigerator we sold when we hit the road. The backup camera and maneuverability made it easy to park, even in parks with narrow roads, narrow sites, and with obstacles limiting options. My wife even liked driving it on the highway! One time when I was away and the lake started flooding, she even moved it to another site! If she could still do steps, we would NOT be selling it. It breaks our hearts to part with it. Show less
