It is the top-of-the line Airstream that at 34ft in length is spacious and comfortable. With its Hensley Hitch and disc brakes it tows without drama and stop 75% better than trailers with factory drum brakes. Because it is so aerodynamic the tow vehicle (Duramax Diesel) gets 13.9 MPG when keeping the speed at 62MPH or below. That is fantastic mileage, as the trailer weighs between 8,500 -10,000 pounds depending on its load (water, food, and clothing etc.) With its two Optima Blue Top Batteries, the newly converted LED lighting throughout the trailer and the two 7.5 gallon propane tanks it will keep you comfortable for a week without hook-up, even in inclement weather. The reason it got only four stars for overall quality is because I have had to "redo" a number of items that were inadequate from production. Once I repaired them to my standards they stayed fixed. I will be happy to share everything I've done upon inquiry. This trailer needs nothing and is ready to go camping. When not in use it was stored "indoors" with full hook-up on our property. It has been extremely reliable; we never had to discontinue a trip or come home early over issues! Show less

we have owned 3 grand design two were pretty good, the third one has been nothing but trouble. we have had no help from dealer or customer service. the last problem has been the chinese 12 volt Furion refrigerator(what a joke). we have been trying to leave for wedding in Florida for two weeks, and we cant get frig to cool have had RV repair here twice and he has found many different problems including electical fire hazard. thanks to Matt our mobile tech, we may possible get on the road within a week. The RV industery is very fortunate to have the customer pay for their mistakes. We have always bragged about our Grand Designs, but not anymore. What a shame! Show less

This was my first 5th wheel and I had zero complaints with it. The only reason I don't have it anymore is because we had a storm come through that dropped tennis ball sized hail on it and totalled it. It was truly a great camper. The only issue we every had with it was that the slide wouldn't come back in and we had to manually bring it in, stopped at a hardware store and just had to replace a little pin. $3 fix! Also, this happened when it was about 15 years old. It really was a great camper and I definitely miss it. Show less

Great quality, easy to tow, easy to park, incredible durability. Used primarily for long weekends, a few week long trips, and 4 months last yesr. We are only selling because we want to buy a bigger unit to live 2-3 years in. No matter where you go - everyone loves an Airstream. Show less

I have a 2002 salem lite, it pulls great, and i love the floorplan, but the quality isnt there.while replacing the roof i found many studs and roof trusses were not nailed or screwed down. You could see where they had missed and kept going. That is my biggest reason for the low review. I live in my camper quite often, i use it to travel for work, and keep up all maintaince, an i will say all accessories seem to function well. Show less

I would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this trailer. It is ideal for a young family as well as couples (22.5 ft). My wife and I bought it new and have had it for 16 years with no regrets. It is very tow-able and our 2000 Durango handled it well (and still does). Lots of windows, plenty of storage space ( in and out), full bath,hot and cold water, efficient heater, large sitting area made for great camping even on rainy days. The unit needs to be seen to be appreciated. Show less

We purchased one a repo and they had really torn it up. We paid 3183.72 it was a bid. I put 2000 in it including the hitch. I had it for 5 years and really liked it. Sold to a family last week for 3,500 soft floors in bed room. Show less

Model 195FL not listed but thas what we got, and it is a great little traveler ! Tows easy,smooth and rock steady behind 1/2 ton pick up - gotta remember it's back there! And the tandem wheels let it go just about anywhere. Good comfy solid basics inside with good storage, and handy outside storage too. Show less
