I have a 1997 Safari Sahara 35' DP and this looks fantastic to me. Great layout. If it checks out it will make someone very happy. Don't be afraid of the age, they were very well put together and will go as long as you are willing to keep them going. Show less

I purchased a new to me Beaver Contessa about 2 years ago now. I dont have anything to compare it to. because its my first. However, I absolutely love it! The quality is amazing, and while mine is definitely older than most, the chassis, engine, trans, and overall quality has really held up over the years. I turned mine all over to be completely off grid and sure there have been some maintenance things that need to be taken care of - but its clearly all because of the age. Nothing to do with the quality of products used. The hardwood throughout and having a bathtub is amazing! I dont see myself ever being this happy with a particle board box after this coach. I did mark a 1 star for factory warranty and support - only because nothing diagram or manual wise exists for my coach any more. Other years - yes - mine- no. I drove all the way to Oregon before the now owners of all things beaver (monaco, or whoever), told me this. So I wasnt very happy about that.....1200 miles is quite a trip to be told - sorry we cant help you. Thankfully I figured it all out with the help of other Beaver owners. Show less

Incredible quality, the coach is 28 years old and still going strong. Cabinets are solid oak and still tight and functional. The chassis drives incredible. The Road Master chassis is a great design and remains basically the same today. The 8.3 turbo Cummins is an outstanding engine. When it is time to upgrade another Monaco product is definitely in our future! Show less

The driving on this RV is very smooth complimented by the 19.5" tires it sits on, makes bumps on the road seem non-existent. Chevrolet is known for having interchangeable auto parts and in this case it works out great for maintenance. The RV ages very well, as its original character is well preserved, has low miles and is great on gas and propane. When we purchased we were not concerned with the cosmetic aspect but more so with the overall functionality. We put our money into the functionality. I stand firmly behind it's ability to start everytime despite the Salvage Title we purchased it under. Having this RV is like stepping back into the 90's when everything was straight forward and authentic. What you see, is what you get! The only thing I dislike is the size. I eventually realized it was much too big for us but perfect for someone else. Show less

Just took a 8200 mile trip in this 1992 RV. Had no mechanical issues at all, only oil changes and gas was all that was needed to keep us on the road. We are upgrading to a more recent and slightly larger Coachmen Leprechaun and really didn't even look at any other manufacturer or model because we love this one so much. Such a rugged vehicle! I purchased a 1992 Fleetwood Flair that needed work but showed promise in its quality and that parts were still available. I removed all the carpet and out down KILZ on the floor and put down vinyl flooring. I have also added LED interior and exterior lighting for brightness and power savings. I also have had the steering system repaired including new idler arms (which are only made by GM on this P30 chassis), new KYB shocks and 2 new front chassis air bags and wheel bearing and front end alignment. This has been a fun project and I believe with all the love and attention I am giving it, it will last for a very long time. Fleetwood build quality lasts decades after the original build and through ongoing maintenance, the vehicle can be made to last further. It is a joy to own and drive. Show less

Easy to drive, sleeps 8 people. Separate bath from toilet. Nice floor plan. Hardwood floors. Nice refrigerator with freezer, oven, 3 stoves and microwave. New tires passed smog, tags good till July 2017. Show less

Hard to find parts for coach at times without having to upgrade. Easy to drive and get in and out of parking lots, camp grounds and local destinations. Great underneath storage and access. Rear air does not work off generator only shore power, front ac works on shore power and generator Show less

I have the same year Fleetwood Bounder. It is a fantastic RV. Very comfortable living, even for long periods of time. Show less
