2014 Forest River XLR Hyper Lite reviews

We purchased our Forest River Rockwood Ultralite in Utah, and we live in Washington. We loved our RV, and used it for campground hosting for the forest service. The warranty was a rip off, in my opinion, as very little is covered. We had a filter leak under the floor, and damage the floor, unknowingly. They would pay for the filter, about $12.00, but not for the repair of the floor. So, beware of the extended warranty they try to sell you. Lesson learned. Show less

Bought this 2014 2608ws from Camping world of kingston Ny with a extended warranty... we asked if there was any leaks ,."ANY WAIR" they said No problems .. city water hook up leaked on the previous owner and now on us dryrotting the bed platform. above the front slide the wall started to delamenament do to water leaking front wall aluminum structur is moving out 3/8" when slide hits wall.. there was black mold and a rats nest in bedroom shelf wair the water outlits come's in. CAMPING WORLD OF KINGSTON NY REFUSED TO FIX ANY THING ON THIS CAMPER. i have reached out to Assurant AKA warranty .i have called Good sam iv emailed marcus lemmon IF YOUR NOT HAPPY IM NOT HAPPY .. i dont know about the factory warranty dont think they will do any thing for us ... We purchased a 2014 Forest River Flagstaff 33 foot 5th wheel used from a private owner. We didn't have much of a chance to shop around but was assured by the owner of another Flagstaff this was a quality 5er. We've experienced nothing but pleasure at how well this has held up, performed and how well put together it is. The only complaints was the lack of a full couch and tight quarters in the bedroom but it far exceeded expectations in build quality, appearance, ease of operation and cost of operation. We've had it a year and other than a recalking of the roof and a couple of wax jobs this has cost us nothing in repairs. We're now looking at another 5er, one with more room and if we can we'll stick with Forest River products. Show less

First 6 months all cabinet doors needed readjustment. Trim around slideout came loose.When putting slide in trim on dinete popped out. Black water flush valve leaked. Now covering on cealing panels is drooping. Dos not tow good. Steps broke almost fell. Show less

The couches in the back are peeling and it looks terrible. I need to figure out where to have them redone or buy covers for them. Very poor quality. I would have rather had cloth than that cheap so called leather Show less

I love this trailer. It was perfect for our needs at the time but that's since changed and we're going to a Toyhauler. This trailer is great for a family with small kids as the bunks are pretty narrow. My wife and I absolutely love the Murphy bed because it adds so much flexibility to what is otherwise a small package. That only adds to the charm as it's easy to tow, easy to park, and easy to store yet you have all the amenities you need. The new owner will appreciate the new tires installed last season. The lucky buyer of this trailer is going to have a great unit at a very fair price. We haven't had one problem with this trailer. Show less

Has been a great camper. Never any issues. Very functional. Plenty of room. Great looking. Can't wait for it to warm up! Bunks in the rear. Nice kitchen, outside kitchen and grill is phenomenal. Very clean layout. Show less

Huge front kitchen/living room area with rear bedroom. Well taken care of unit. Ton of storage inside and out. Inside is like new. Tows great with 1/2 ton F-150. Don't use often enough to warrant keeping. Show less
