We were very excited about this purchase. Little did we know that it was so cheaply made. From the wall paper, windows, wood, doors, and the fish holes. Just everything about it. If you are spending a chunk of money, pay attention to all the details. That was something we did not do. We had it for 1 year. The wall paper started warping. The insulation on the windows sucked, the cold air was coming through, we had to cover it up with tarp every single night that we were in that rv. The "wood" scratched so easily and the paint came off so easily. Everything about that rv was a nightmare. Even the fish holes were annoying because they had one right in front of the stove. Which made it so hard to cook and walk back and forth. It comes with a solar panel which, did nothing for us. The back camera worked whenever it wanted to. Majority of the time, it did not work and lost "connection". The only positive thing I have to say is, the awning was cool, loved the blue light. Choose wisely.

I actually have a 2021 Ice Cave 17MPH. I bought it brand new in January of 2021 and have nothing but constant issues. Within the first months the heating system went out, we have had to have our third entryway door put in, a new wiring system for the trailer, new hydraulics, the hydraulic button on the fish house went out, the heating system then went out again, then the hot water heater didn’t work the first time trying to use it, the lights over the holes have fallen out of the walls, the window was placed at an angle, the frame is rusting out and now the refrigerator went out months ago. We put in an order for a new fridge to which we were told it was the circuit board (guess what it wasn’t)! Now we are told they could deny our need for a new fridge and it would be on us, even though it went out during our warranty. I 1000% will never be buying a brand new fish house from Forrest River. They don’t take care of the people who buy fish houses from them. They have no options for people who have had nothing but issues and clearly put their customers last buy selling junk. Save the trouble and buy a different brand fish house. It’s not worth having to leave the ice and sleep at a truck stop with two small children because you have no heat.

so far pretty disappointed. Bought brand new to avoid problems, and have had nothing but. Tried the furnace before my first ice fishing trip and the heater didn't work. 2nd time out wheel crank safety doesn't engage so now I have to do the otherside halfway down then the freewheeling side. Towing is sketchy ita not balanced very well, but i am driving with a ram 1500. So maybe thats not heavy duty enough.... and the last time out the fridge quit working while out of state at a family reunion. Poor workmanship on the interior using staples instead of screws. And the storage over the wheel house is so tight that its starting to pull off the veneer. I bought at ac nelsons and its going back to have a lot of work done and there so busy fixing these i had to get an appointment a month out just to look at it. Let's just say the manufacturer warranty will be a lengthy fix, and thank goodness I have a 5 year extended warranty. Wishing I bought an ice castle instead.lets see how I'm treated for the repairs.

We have had several issues with our brand new ice house. Heater broke on first trip after 1 hour of use. The wheel crank and bed leg broke on 2nd and 3rd trip. The propane tanks fell off while driving on the 3rd trip (lucky no one was hurt). We have been saddened by the poor quality. Every trip we have taken has been ruined by another item breaking. It is so fearful taking the house out because being in freezing cold weather in the middle of the lake is not the easiest way of getting assistance. We have regretted what was supposed to be our best and most fun purchase for our young family. We bought new to avoid fear of items breaking, instead we have had nothing but fear. I will not recommend this product. Signed very disappointed pregnant wife
