2024 Forest River reviews

I repeat do not buy one of these units. We have a Salem bunkhouse which we bought brand new from. Camping world neither camping world or forest river will back their product this travel trailer has basically fallen around from us. Our first trip out shower floods the floor blinds don’t go up and down. Water traps left out of bathroom, zinc, damage underneath, zinc in kitchen outside big gaps in trailer just basically pearly made, and they don’t stand behind their product please don’t bother this product. You will regret buying it. We are sitting with a white horse that we paid a tremendous amount of money for that cannot be used. Forest River has given me the runaround and refuses to fix it. The GeoPro G19FD is perfect for couples. it is compact, but the space is used efficiently. With all aluminum frames and fiberglass siding as well as the vinyl floors, this is built like a tank and will last for many years. You can go off-grid for quite a while using the roof mounted solar panels and the 1800 watt inverter. This is a great travel trailer! Show less

Biggest POS I’ve ever owned. This one should fall under the lemon law but do you think anyone even Bretz RV would help us out, NO, We’ve owned it for 11 months now and it’s been sitting at the dealership supposedly getting fixed. Anytime we take it, its even worst. The dealership lets us take it off with the ABS light on the dash and the final straw was when our braked seized up on us coming down a pass. We are gonna take a big hit trading it off but no way in HELL do I feel safe driving this thing. Theres many more issues with it as well but nobody cares once you take it off the lot. Show less

I purchased a Forest River Sabre Cobalt 2 bedroom 5th wheel in 04/2024 for $88,000 plus $7500 and paid for an extended warranty from RV Broker through Good Sams. My refrigerator has been non functional since 02/2024 and was still under factory warranty. I have paid out of pocket roughly $520 to have the service techs come out to my trailer twice. They finally dertermined I need a new refrigerator and want another $240 to come out an additional time to install the replacement fridge. I've now been out of a fridge for over 2 months and still waiting. Frustrating as hell. Wait time on phone for RV Broker for service call follow up this morning was 40 minutes. Still not resolved. At this point I would highly recommend staying away from RV Broker and Forest River all together. Simply no excuses for such horrible service. Show less

I bought my camper Dec 21st 2024. I was on the road to live out of it for 2+ months for my job by Jan 15 2025. When purchased, I was told to leave winterized for the trip, due to having a tank less water heater and driving in below freezing temps. In My 7 day drive, my vent from the stove, flew off from the outside, the lid to my propane cover flew off and my caps to the back bumper flew off. I get to my destination and I called RV Mobile for repairs, left a VM asking for a return call. This was Jan 23rd. On Jan 24, I had my water filled up and we were flushing out antifreeze and water was spraying everywhere. We shut everything down and I called RV Mobile again and left another message. 4 days go, and I still have not received a return call. I called back, asked for Manager. Now I have an apt! Water Pump is broken right out of the gate! They order a new part, it comes in. The week they were supposed to come back, my fridge starts with an E4 code. Now, my fridges isn't staying cold and I am losing food. I called RV .Mobile again and report the fridge, this is Feb 14th before I have another appointment. This time to look at fridge and fix the water pump. FEB 14th apoint is my apt, and RV Mobile forgot to pencil my confirmation In. So they call and tell me they will get me wiggled in. Couple hours later RV Mobile calls and says the water pump is not the right part and they cannot fix that day, but will come to look at the fridge. Later this evening, I went to turn the heat on and now my heat isn't working. It's 9 pm on a Friday with temps in low 40⁰s over the weekend, needless to say at this point, I am very upset and about this entire situation. No water, no fridge and no heat. All the things I spent thousands of dollars on, NOT working for me as needed..... That following Thursday, RV Mobile comes out to check my heat, now, we find that when RV Mobile analyzed the fridge, pulled a wire out which caused heat to not work- that's fixed thank goodness!! Fast forward to March 19th (my birthday) I get a call from RV Mobile (no mind you, my water, covers and vents are STILL NOT FIXED), THIS CALL!!!! RV Mobile tells me my fridge arrived from carriers and it's now damaged from a forklift.. I am supposed to leave work in 2 weeks and go home. Need here for 10 weeks and have nothing fixed, nothing working for the reasons I bout this camper. Limited on people who can do manufactured warranty- there is much to blame on Forest Rivers products as well as their certified technicians that is seriously lacking qualifications. Show less

This is the worst camper I have ever seen! It’s cheap workmanship and lousy quality! I will never purchase any Forest River product again! EVERY time we take it out we have to work on it!!!! From the heating to the plumbing and wood products like the drawers and shades. We have had to fix so many things. I feel like I need to take electric, wood, and plumbing supplies EVERY time I take this pice of crap out!!!!! I am now trying to sell it and get rid of it. It’s a LEMON of a product. Please don’t believe the hype of “Made by the Amish” if this is their quality they wouldn’t last a week living in this kind of camper! Run don’t walk away from any dealership that carries this CHEAP inferior product. I wish I had never ever purchased this money pit of a product. Show less

This is a very attractive trailer and for the most part has held up. We ran into an issue with the black tank valve immediately but other than that it’s been alright. There’s a lot of overhang which makes it hard to go on steep hills. Ours has the cold weather package but first winter in it proved a lot of stuff was not ready for it. The tank heaters are practically useless and with no furnace it can be almost impossible to defrost the tanks. We were lucky enough to have the cold front not last too long and get back above freezing temperatures. I will say that we were in 0 degrees and did not realize it was that cold until we checked the weather. It has great internal wall heaters but the HVAC is practically useless. There are a few drafts in the bedroom which we had to use reflectix for. Show less

Let's first say. Do not buy this rodent welcome home p.o.s. there are holes everywhere. Not just holes but 5 inch up to 10 inch holes left with nothing to protect from the outside environment. Mice RATS and snakes have total free will to the inside. So if they drilled a hole for anything but was off, they drilled another 1 or 2 times next to it leaving the rest totally open. I've found 20 of these in mine so far. Now as to quality. Doors are wall paper and pealing off. Drawer have all broken cracked, split, or just the rails completely fall out. Plumbing leaks underneath. Propane line with holes in it. P traps installed wrong. Shower panels not glued to the wall. Shower floor cut way to big and falling in and leaking. Counter top pulled out from the wall. Awning broke completely down. Getting a reimbursement from them is like pulling teeth. Bedroom fireplace quit working. Lights over stove and pantry quit working. Oh. Did I say we've only had this for 6 months??? Let's not stop there. Bedroom dresser drawer, sides, and frame have all broke. Screen door does not slide. Gaps on the bottom of the slide outs. Refrigerator growls loudly ha,ha, no not at 2am it's not!!! So please BID THIS WARNING. DO NOT BUY FROM FOREST RIVER. Show less

Our first RV - purchased new in OH and drove back to AZ. A Forest River Sunseeker Mercedes Benz 2400T. It was planned for just my wife and I - we love the 2400 T layout. Two electronic theatre recliners, with tray tables - instead of a booth (we do not like booths). We have the fold down queen bed, a nice sofa and a pop in dining table. It all works for us. Probably the best feature is the bathroom - that sold my wife. It is the largest in its class, the full width of the RV, with plenty of room and privacy to get dressed in. Love the electric awning with the LED lights too. Show less

This is one of the best floor plans for how we RV. Literally everything is accessible while traveling. No need to put the slide out for an overnight stop. Amazing storage- this is due to no bed slide or outdoor kitchen (my preference).we can store our eBikes and tones of other gear in the rear storage. For a class C it has tons of storage bays. My 18 year old says that the bunk over cab is very comfortable for sleeping. We added a 1” eggshell style pad to help with seams. So much interior storage! My one negative here is the wasted space with the wire shelf pull out “pantry” total piece of junk. There is no perfect RV. You will always need modifications /personalizations. Other than that we are very happy with our purchase. Show less
