The best camper I've ever owned! I love this thing. 1) It is HUGE. Lots of room - it sleeps 9, so for an empty-nest couple and a small dog, it is like a home away from home. 2) The garage is amazing. I put a home office in there and used the half bath like it was my own little place. I worked while my wife lived the carefree camping life - watching Netflix, walking around in the wilderness, etc. 3) A king bed was a must for us, and this one was fantastic. 4) A washer-dryer connection was a must for us, and this one has it. 5) New things in 2022 and around then: tankless water heater (amazing), solar panel for battery-powered fridge. Keeps food cold while driving. 6) Everything is designed to be off-grid; you can completely function in this thing without even powering up the generator. 7) The generator is built-in and there's a 30 gallon tank so you really can go anywhere. 8) We are not toy people, but the garage is huge, with plenty of tie down rings, and there's a fuel station outside so you can gas your toys up like you are a gas station!

We purchased our 2018 Riverstone in Jan 2019, and headed out for a tour around the country for 1 1/2 years, then lived in it full time in Florida for 3 1/2 years The livability of the 39FL is fantastic. The kitchen layout is perfect for the amount of counter space (the island), allowing me to have everything I needed right at my fingertips, no walking across the room for supplies. Also, having a residential fridge gave me plenty of storage space to stock up, and the lower freezer drawer is large. We always traveled with the fridge on, never had any issues. The induction stove is just as good as having a gas stove, in terms of controlling cooking temperatures. The convection oven was large enough and cooked evenly, I could even bake muffins, cakes and bread. (We do not have a traditional oven). Dishwasher is small, but works great, nice to not have to wash dishes by hand! The front living room gives just enough separation, and I liked the built ins for storage (one side held all my crafting and sewing supplies), the TV flipped up and held all our books and DVDs and the other side held all our files and important household items. Having both bump-out couches turn into beds was also a plus for having family stay with us. Recliners are comfortable and the 60” TV made for great movie nights. We also have the dual shades, one for sun, and then full coverage. The bathroom is very functional given it’s size, again, plenty of storage. The bedroom, being in the rear makes it a quiet place to sleep, and with the bureau, over-the-bed cupboards and double closet, there is plenty of storage. Washer dryer location is easy to get to and the bed is a great place to fold laundry. Another feature that is key in the Riverstone is the 4” insulated walls. It is very quiet, and we have been in areas that were cold, around 30 degrees and we were warm and toasty with the heat on. The bedroom and Living Room fireplaces make it cozy and warm. Nothing like having the bedroom fireplace on before you get up on a chilly morning. The rig towed smoothly, turned well and made many it up may steep grades and switchbacks with ease. Now that we are done traveling, the layout of this 39FL is going to be the starting point for building a tiny home. I want to keep that kitchen!

Mine was built during Covid and had 22 things wrong which Forest River did not want to pay to fix nor send parts in a decent amount of time. Do not buy this and I will let you know how my lemmon law litigation goes. It takes one year or more of fighting to get your money back. Forest River does not give one crap about you.

We are in our camper and hungry bc cannot get our propane tanks to work. Make sure you get a walk thru and make sure everything is working correctly as we are finding out the hard way.

Our second new CC Fifth Wheel. Actually upsized from our 2020 34ik. Love the floor plan. Like the fact that we could get carpet in living room and bedroom for our dogs. ( They slip otherwise). Like the dealer we got both from. Or should say former dealer. (He wouldn’t stock 4 new ones per factory , because he is smart) Now the bad. Underbelly has fallen down on the highway twice! Wiring, insulation..etc dragging…Buy some serious amount of 4 inch wide Gorilla tape. My dealer even riveted a brace all the way across. Lasted 2 trips. Works great until wind grabs one of those 4x6 panels. Almost stranded twice. Full size Refrigerator broke loose from its cheesy spot. Had to be properly secured. Auto level works about 50/50. Big slide won’t come in unless level. Constantly fixing level. And calibrating. Would like to buy another if they would let us order from dealer. Would stress Refrigerator security. Underbelly security. And auto level warranties. Otherwise we like it. Going to fix the siding that was blown apart by a tire explosion. H rated tire, not blaming them on that one. But it damaged the rig. Also a note. Our 2024 GMC 3500 diesel stopped communicating with the trailer brakes because the solar panel charged the Fifth wheel batteries to more voltage than the truck. Had to remove inline fuse for solar panel to get trailer brakes to work. A 2024 issue for GM HDs. They are working on a fix.

I bought this brand new, 5th wheel in May, right off the bat, the water heater was throwing error codes and wouldn't heat, called it in, took almost 2 months for someone to come out, they replaced the computer board, later about an hour before it started throwing errors again, the curtains are cheap and fraying, I've already had to buy replacement holders for them, the dining table, which we never use, as we generally eat outside, paint had pealed all away, as I sit here right now, I'm listening to the back ac unit scream as it runs but doesn't cool anything off, the trim just randomly falls off the walls, i funny think they were ever nailed down, there's a view in the wall in the dining room slide, our closet rod and shelf fell off the first week as did the door, the pins are falling out of the cabinet hinges in the kitchen, this thing is a rolling pile of dung and I would never ever buy another one again.

Horribly built and zero quality. No factory support. Purchased unit lites don't work in master bedroom. Trim is falling off in every living space. Picked up unit and dealership let it go off the lot with a damaged window they conveniently forgot to mention to us until we called. Went up on the roof to check and clean multiple supports are spongy and spent the day sezling the roof properly so it wouldn't leak at the seams Absolute garbage from the factory with even worse dealership support. Stay far away from Forest River.
