Great floor plan, optimum size and layout for hauling and hosting a young family. Generous fresh, grey and black water storage. Great patio conversion, kitchen and decent seating area. Probably the worst assembly quality out there. Customer service turnover rediculous bordering on morons. Leaks because of incorrect sizing of fittings, thrown together hoses. Fuel station problems, NO STORAGE. Additionally bad wiring in control panel. The componentry is excellent but assembly the worst! It's a shame since it could be the best RV out there. Another Berkshire Hathaway company gone wrong! Show less

We purchased this unit used last year. The toilet in the back dumps into the grey tank that is the same rear tank for the bath sink, the washer hookup and the kitchen sink. That is so nasty. We contacted Forest river and they said they didn't know about it as it was a long time ago. We did several flushes with colored water to confirm this was correct. What a health hazard. Needless to say we will not be using the rear toilet. We flushed it out till it was clear. If you purchase a camper with rear bath, make sure it has a rear black tank. Show less

I would never buy another product from this company. We bought this rv new ,when we went to pick it up ac units did not work. First trip out fridge didn't work auto leveling did not work and black water tank valve did not hold black water back, so I took a black water shower, not fun the trailer has been in the shop more than we have been able to use it. I would check other brands before you buy one of these. Show less

We spent a good year researching and looking at all the floor plans, hauling, and features to find this toy hauler. It offered the length & weight we wanted, the interior height to make it feel larger, the right amount of sleeping capacity with two kids, and a decent size bathroom so we weren’t squeezed in. The added generator was a huge plus that extended our camping season through winter months for hunting off grid. The garage bay doubled as the perfect travel storage for bicycles, tables, chairs, floats, and all the stuff. We have really enjoyed all the features of this camper!! Show less

We bought this RV used. The previous owner says he only used it about 8 times in 3 years, which we thought was good... WRONG! He didn't use it enough to find all the problems and ensure they were fixed. So far, generator wouldn't start. Probably from not being used, but we did a ton of research and found many places saying this brand was junk. Air conditioner in the main living area and thermostat for it don't work. It will say it's 57 degrees in there, but felt more like 80. Did a ton of research and found the engineer design put the temperature sensor up in the condenser so it reads cold all the time. Took a shower and ended up with a huge pool of water on the bathroom floor. Realized they didn't bother to seal anything between the chintzy plastic walls and the shower base. There is a leak somewhere in the main room. We haven't yet determined if it's from the air conditioner or slide. The siding that wraps under the 5th wheel is peeling away, with the screws pulled out. The fridge doesn't keep food at safe temperature. Anything against the back will freeze, anything in the front will spoil. The back entry door doesn't latch properly. The overall layout and design is horrible... the RV is so tall, and has MoRyde 4 steps to get in, but they used a tiny 10 inch reach fold away handle up by the door knob. The hallway going up to the master bedroom is very narrow. The steps for the back bunk don't reach the floor, so they're not very steady or sturdy. Storage is almost non-existent, and what is there inside is high up so we have to keep a step stool in there. Outside is a teeny tiny door on the pass through, not nearly big enough to throw a chair in. We are hoping the transfer of the extended warranty the previous owner purchased comes through soon so we can get some of this taken care of. My parents had a Forest River Work n Play toy hauler that was garbage also, so I should have known better. Next time we'll spend a little more for something other than Forest River that hopefully doesn't have as many issues. My advice is STAY AWAY!!! Show less

We used it for our first trip with a trailer. 6 months from Colorado to Portland Maine . And South to Florida. Stayed in 28 State parks. When we got a cancellation State park and Hoa’s in between. The Autumn Colors were somthing to see. And the Great U.S.A. We are so happy that we took that chance and did it. Learned so much and met so many great people. Really just a different experience of people than the day to day. Hectic people on the highway or the sidewalks. Some places where like your neighborhood. We stayed in a HOA in Fancy Gap Virginia. Families of Grandparents to great grandchildren stay every year for Halloween. So friendly and open to talk. I could go on and on. But we were very lucky. No time frame. No Appointments to keep. Traveled the country in this RV and absolutely loved it. Easy to pull, tons of amenities. Felt like we bought the perfect 5th Wheel. Family of 4, never felt over crowded but could still fit in most RV parks, even some really small tight spaces. Show less

We purchased this 5th Wheel brand new. This review will look at the Flagstaff from the overall quality and secondly one major flaw that's a problem with most RVs. From the perspective of overall quality we are very happy. So many quality features in the construction.... USA made Dexter Axles w/ self adjusting brakes, Magic Chef Stove/range top, 5/8 plywood floor (glued down), stainless steel sinks...... so much more. Now for the big negative... within the first dozen and a half times in and out the Schwintek slide broke on the 7' long kitchen . With such a small slide it was obvious poor quality of the Schwintek design. We replaces it at our own expense of $1,700. Within another 2 dozen times in and out the slide failed again.. Though I contemplated repairing it and selling the 5th wheel, because of the overall quality of the Flagstaff line of RVs, I decided to have the Schwintek system completely replaced with a Vroom Slide System. So sad to see such a very high quality RV incorporate such an absolutely poor quality slide system. Would I buy another Flagstaff ? Because of the overall quality I would probably say yes. However in negotiating the price I would keep in mind the need to immediately replace any Schwintek systems with a Vroom System. Schwintek is common on many brands of RVs. In my opinion it is a weak link in any RV. Show less

Our experience has been very good. It has enough room for a couple of grandboys and a dog. The open concept of the living area allows us to move around while food prep and lounging around. It really works for us as a pair of retirees and a dog, failing eyesight is not going to allow us to continue to travel safely. This 5th wheel is great for retirees or a small family, as it has 2 slide outs and a simple control panel for managing the various components of the trailer. Its setup uses auto leveling control and large, heated water tanks, which makes it sturdy and livable. Inside the trailer is a 50” TV/Entertainment System and an awesome electric fireplace, which gives off great heat and provides an awesome fireplace view. The RV comes with a 23” Blackstone griddle which hooks up on the outside, as well as a TV hookup. The trailer comes with containerized water and waste hoses and connections. Will provide great camping experience, especially for the novice. Show less

This a well built toy hauler. Everything is nice and neat without excess glue and Staples. Great craftsmanship. I highly recommend it especially for your toys and camping needs. The floor plan is large. The garage space is large. Very quiet especially at the dunes. Stays warm. Good insulation. Definitely ready for the action camper. Show less
