The best camper I've ever owned! I love this thing. 1) It is HUGE. Lots of room - it sleeps 9, so for an empty-nest couple and a small dog, it is like a home away from home. 2) The garage is amazing. I put a home office in there and used the half bath like it was my own little place. I worked while my wife lived the carefree camping life - watching Netflix, walking around in the wilderness, etc. 3) A king bed was a must for us, and this one was fantastic. 4) A washer-dryer connection was a must for us, and this one has it. 5) New things in 2022 and around then: tankless water heater (amazing), solar panel for battery-powered fridge. Keeps food cold while driving. 6) Everything is designed to be off-grid; you can completely function in this thing without even powering up the generator. 7) The generator is built-in and there's a 30 gallon tank so you really can go anywhere. 8) We are not toy people, but the garage is huge, with plenty of tie down rings, and there's a fuel station outside so you can gas your toys up like you are a gas station!

We had purchased our 29qbx with the intention of going on a 6 month vacation. But after on having towed it 1200 miles every thing fell apart. And I mean everything the walls we collapsing the roof leaked the slides leaked there was mold growing under our mattress. The craftsmanship of these units is unacceptable and really sad. They should not be allowed to operate this way. Our trailer is currently at the manufacturer waiting to be “fixed” and I have lost all hope we only owned it for 4 months and have no idea when any thing will be done. The warranty team at xlr is about as good as the quality of their product after being pushed around for a month with little to no contact I asked to speak with a manager and have been stonewalled every time. Please save your money and your sanity and DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM XLR

Customer service from XLR boost is the worst experience of my life. The single point of contact will send you to voicemail and never respond. If you send emails he will not reply. If you ever do manage to talk on the phone he blames the customer for everything. What a joke he is. The manager then said he would personally handle it. Never heard from him again. A brand new rep got sick of me calling every day and decided to try and help. He has been the most help but has dropped the ball several times as well. If I don't hold their hand every day or every week it goes on for months and no one takes care of the situation. Its excuse after excuse. They all blame someone else or covid for the problems. Its out of hand. The amount of footwork I am having to do to get a refund of my own damn money is a complete joke. They should be held accountable and it seems they never are. I will never buy another forest river product and when folks have asked me about ours I tell them don't ever buy from them. Its a complete nightmare. As soon as I can sell this POS that is exactly what I will be doing.

I have owned several travel trailers this one is by far the worst one. We have only made two payments and only owned this trailer 3 months. In that time all the screws on the under skirt and fenders vibrated out before we even made it home. Then the skylight in the bathroom leaks every time it rains, refrigerator quit working, cable on the slide out broke, paneling is popping off the bathroom wall, ceiling is falling down, and last night the awning broke and the arm popped out and hit my wife in the face. I can’t get anywhere with my dealer or the manufacturer. At this point I just want out from under this trailer so I can move on and buy one of better quality. Any help would be appreciated

We got it home and found out the the slide out in the bedroom did not work. The window screen on the living room window was not attached. The screen door latch was broken. The drawers in the kitchen did not line up with the catches. In general this 5th wheel was a mess. We called for warranty work and everything that was wrong with it, they said it was our fault,,,the salesman talked us into buying the extended warranty and said everything would be covered. Nothing is covered. It took them 5 months to tell us that. We have never been able to used the trailer. Worst service ever.

The concept is good but the execution is terrible. We've had the coach for a month, door hits the frame, electrical wire shorted out the awning, ALL THE PLASTIC is coming off door jambs, tub is warped, The forward storage door frame was never inserted into the wall properly so the whole frame is pulling out. Expected it to be on the road. The original dealer did their best to correct some items. Pulled it to NV and the dealer there needed permission from Forest River to do warranty. Week later no word. To be honest, the website, warranty info, owners manual is an utter joke! This is a hillbilly project gone bad!

When we picked up our 2021 28 ft. Fifth wheel toy hauler we were so excited but that was very short lived. The quality and craftsmanship and overall construction of this unit is just unimaginable. Where were the inspectors or quality control? I will include a short list of things that we consided the most important to repair promptly . Due to the Covid 19 we opted to complete many of the repairs our self's. We had frames and other area's that were never caulked allowing water infiltration. Crimped off waterline and a bad valve that resulted in leakage and caused my cabinet's to get wet and expand resulting in splits of the wood. Not pretty. Cubbards are scratched . They tried to touch them up. Split trim or no trim. Crooked screw heads and scratches in the finish. Damaged door to bedroom. The exterior door wouldn't stay shut so the stairs had to be removed and repositioned. Several areas you can see right outside that were never sealed properly. The microwave was not property installed had a broken bracket and had to be repaired. Drawer fronts are warped.Had to reinforce the drawers. Carpet in the bedroom doesn't extend to the wall and carpet is full of metal shavings. Can't go barefoot we have spent hours picking metal shavings out of the carpet. We have done nothing but work on the unit since we purchased it. So disappointed. Not sure what we'll find next. This is our second Forest river and our first one was amazing no issues at all. When we called the dealership his response was . Your not telling me anything that I don't hear on a daily basis. Seriously. I realize that this my not be the top model but I would never recommend this manufacturer. We haven't loaded the razor in yet. Almost afraid.

We are very disappointed in the poor quality of our 2021 Boost XLR Toy Hauler! We were so excited when we first picked up our new fifth wheel but that was short lived. We have done nothing but repair and work on it. Here is just the short list of items that we have already replaced or repaired. The frames around the storage spaces were not siliconed you could see daylight and it allowed water in. Microwave not secured had a broken bracket was just hanging. Door wouldn't stay closed had to reposition the stairs in order to keep door closed. Leaking values.Crimped off waterline. Scratches in the side. Screws put in so crooked they are sharp. Metal shavings stuck in the carpeting in the bedroom and carpet doesn't go all the way to wall.Loose cabinet frames.Had to install supports to the warped drawers. Damaged interior door split trim or no trim and the list goes on and on. We have contacted the dealership he told me I'm sorry but your not telling me nothing that I don't hear on a daily basis. Manufacturer gets paid by the unit and not by the hour so they just push them out. You can take it to any dealership and they can service it. Not what we expected to hear. We ordered our toy hauler site unseen because we felt confident. We had owned a Forest River toy hauler before and loved it. Lesson learned.
