In April 2022 I purchased a new Forest River Wildwood Xlite 263BHXL. It is a lemon, and RV wholesalers, and Forest River refuse to make it right. Since purchase I have had the following issues: o Shower Basin o Main Entry Door o Slide motor o Awning o Jackknife sofa support o Interior Bathroom Door o Galley tank drain pipe o Main Entry door (again) o Fireplace · Summary of time out of service. o 33 days at Hometown trailer (diagnostics) o 107 days at Hometown trailer (repairs) o 20 days a Campers Inn o 160 days total out of my possession due to repairs. The Galley tank drain, Shower Basin, and main entry door still have issues, after either attempted repair or repair refusal. I highly recommend steering clear of Forest River, and RV wholesalers. I have been an RV owner a long time, and buying this unit was the largest mistake i have ever made.

Purchased new February 2021, great floor plan, plenty of room. Now the issues. Everchill (now Lippert) went bad first year, they (everchill) replaced after much haggling. New refrigerator went bad, Lippert would not warranty as one year only from date of RV purchase. Bought new computer circut board (<$100) now works fine. Brake failure on one of the axels caused the bearings to burn out and needed new axil (Lippert product, would not replace under 5yr warranty). Replaced just under $900. Battery connect broken as nothing will work unless plugged into shore power or vehicle, battery tests fine. Now the front electric stabilizer motor will not work (lippert product) had to hand crank down. Not sure if it is Lippert products or Forest River but only had camping about 6 times and for me seems like a lot of problems. Probably would suggest to look at other brands.........

Now I have a 1 1/2 YEAR OLD TRAILER WITH A JUNK $1500 REFRIGERATOR. I don't think I'll ever purchase another forest river camper. They do not stand behind there products

The sink cracked as the screws were put in too tight, the cushions came and never fit, I never received the remote for the awning and slides, I didn’t receive the self leveling that I ordered. And ever since everything keeps falling apart on this trailer I would not recommend Forest River to anyone :(

The only good thing about this trailer is the layout/floorplan. All the used material is flimsy and just slapped together. We bought this trailer brand new. The trim started shaking loose immediately, no wonder when you see that everything is randomly stapled. The table was mounted crookedly, it was clearly just screwed in without measuring. After 6 months the shower started leaking because the support board just cracked (it's just some plywood on 4 legs), and the drain pipe was rubbing against the side of the board (again they didn't even measure it). Two weeks later the black water tank started leaking. The heating just turns off after a while before reaching the desired temparature. Now we get fumes from the water heater inside the bunk house, the CO/propane alarm goes off, so we can't use the water heater nor the toilet anymore. Both the Lazy Days dealership and Forest River keep sending us back and forth. We will never buy anything of them anymore.

This was our first travel travel but we expected to have a few issues to get the rig setup how we wanted. The floor plan sold us on the Forest River X-Lite 273QBXL. We have had nothing but issues with the unit since we purchased it. The slide has been in for repairs for the third time now and this includes it going back to the factory for repairs then it still didn’t make it through the season. The whole side was pulling away from the trailer and when you slide in back in it would tear the laminate in the floor. We stated to them when it was at the factory that we wanted a replacement if this didn’t fix the issue and now they are not standing behind their product. Their solution is giving us a credit towards another camper but not fixing the current unit and passing the issue onto the next person which also affects our trade value. Has anyone had this same issue and did it get resolved? In my opinion I would stay away from the X-lite model with the versa lounge until the actually find a way to build it properly. We fell in love with camping but not the camper. Very disappointed in Forest River and the quality of their product.

Already needs a new slide kit as the slide broke while camping, new propane igniter for the water heater. Shower leaked from day 1, kitchen sink leaked. Sliding door to bedroom bottom brace broke already. Took Forrest River over 2 weeks to approve warranty work. I had to call Forrest river to get them to approve. Dealership does nothing but sit an wait without any follow up. Towing has not been greatest either. This trailer sways more than it should while towing. Even have weight distribution and sway bars hooked up. Would never buy another Forrest River.
