I liked the larger gas oven and 4 burner cook top. I also liked the colors. I've had several leaks which most have been taken care of by the dealer, Camping World of Asheville, until the shower was never fixed. It still leaks from underneath and the sliding glass door leaks profusely when the rain comes from that side. I called again to have them come out and fix what they hadn't fixed and they said it would cost $200 for the service call. I said it was never fixed. Come to find out this Camping World doesn't have a mobile repair van. So I'm at their mercy, until I contacted Forest River they informed me that, that Camping World doesn't have a mobile, that's why I have to pay. During the email they sent me what I needed to do for the warranty work and a list of the mobile repair places that they authorize and they will reimburse me whatever the cost. So I'm awaiting the phone call for the repair people to come out and do the repairs. My unit is a permanent unit therefore I can't tow it.

On our second trip our refrigerator came loose and popped out at the bottom, staples seemed to be the only thing holding it in place. And that is not everything. Purchased in January, warranty ended after our first trip.

We bought our 271rl brand new back in October. When looked at the RV we loved the floor plan and visually the RV was nice. We have had it 3 months now and already things are starting to break, I am noticing things missing like 5 screws in the restroom skylight, the fire place has already quit working, the hidden pantry door drag’s tremendously making it hard to open, the cold water on the island sink stopped working, the catch/latch on the “hamper” by the bed broke, and the kitchen sink wasn’t sealed correctly and now the counter top is bubbling up. There are also areas where the nail holes were filled with putty but not sanded, and I’m sure the list will get longer as we continue to use it. Very disappointed in this RV. Now we are stuck with it and a loan payment. I wouldn’t recommend this trailer to anyone.

I bought this camper brand new in March 2022. Dealer attempted 1 day repair. Shower still leaking. It was in shop for over 90 days due to leaking shower. Shower still leaks. Forest River has been to my home 3 times since January 2023. Shower still leaks. BBB in Indiana and South Carolina both closed my case and suggested contacting an attorney. I can’t afford to do this. The Indiana Attorney General is now trying to mediate my case. That will take forever. I’m paying 375$ a month for something I can’t use. I’m a disabled combat veteran. I have stressor letters from my VA psychiatrist stating stress caused by inability to use and still making payments. I email Forest River daily. They don’t respond. BUYER BEWARE!! No lemon law on a rv. I’m stuck with something I can’t use.

Pros: We purchased this unit due to the floor plan and we love the layout. The trailer has nice features and we opted to have the second AC put in as the one would just not cut it in the TX summers. Interior colors are modern and the furniture is fairly comfortable. There is adequate storage inside and it comes with storage containers in all the cubbyholes and cabinets. Bathroom is the main reason we got this unit as its really good sized and has a large shower. Fireplace is great and works really good without the need of the furnace in cold weather. Cons: We had to have the main AC replaced after 1.5 year, the toilet had to be replaced at the same time, The wallpaper is bubbled throughout the trailer as well. The biggest complaint is the underbelly plastic panels blew off during a trip and Forest River will not fix or replace after the 1 year warranty. Customer service is not helpful at all and they stopped all communication with me after the 3rd email. Apparently after a lot of research many people are having issues with the plastic underbelly panels coming off after the first year of ownership and good luck getting help or finding any replacements.

I don’t even know where to begin. We bought this trailerT26DBUD in November of 2021. Since the first trip to Palm Springs we stopped at a gas station and a gentleman told us that a panel fell off under our trailer. I went to investigate and found the the front under panel fell completely off and was in several pieces, the middle panel was also coming off so I secured it with duct tape. We stopped at the Riverside Camperworld and they removed the panel that was hanging down. When we got back home I took it in to Camperworld in Roseville, Ca. They repaired the panels. The repairs were done in 3-1/2 months. We then went up to Washington state with no problems. 4 months later we are in Bakersfield, Ca and found that we no longer have electricity at our GFI plugs, our microwave oven, fireplace, television and most importantly our water pump doesn’t work. The workmanship on this trailer is absolutely horrible and we are extremely frustrated and unhappy with this piece of crap. We love this trailer but it looks like it’s built by a 3 year old. Reliability is everything. Camperworld in Roseville has a 5 month backlog, so now what do we do? 🤮
