absolutely the worst trailer and experience I have ever had. We purchased this trailer in July of 2022 and the trailer sat on the side of our property up until December of 2022. The unit was then relocated to storage. Upon relocation of the trailer, we noticed that the front of the trailer started to separate from the sides of the trailer. At this point we began to further investigate. We then found multiple leaks in the pop outs and mold growth within the trailer. we had a mold analyst come out and conduct multiple readings and tests on the trailer. The tests came back stating that the trailer was not safe to stay in . We contacted RV country in Reno Nv who was amazing in helping us get things sorted out. The issue is that Forest River then picked up the trailer and supposedly repaired the trailer but took them months to correct the issue. We still have yet to see the trailer back and we are now outside of the one-year warranty. We have lost an entire season to use the trailer with no assistance from the manufacturer.
I would never recommend this company to anybody. I am now stuck with a trailer I don't feel comfortable in putting my family in or using. We paid over 60k for this trailer and now it might as well be an oversized paper weight .

Do not purchase from Forest River . They do not respond to you with issues . No communication even though we have sent multiple emails and calls. Our trailer has been in the shop longer than we've owned it brand new Nov. 2022 while still making payments on it. Months of it at their shop. Water leaking in from everywhere, mold exposure with a mold test completed stating it's not safe to be in. Wall was separating on the outside and leaks literally everywhere. The only response by email was they replaced the wall and roof. What about all the mold in the furniture and all over the place. My daughter is highly sensitive to mold exposure and has had non stop ear infections from bacteria in her ear from us using this. Never had an ear infection till we got this. Tubes put in with frequent fevers and congestion. doctor notes stating it's most likely due to the exposure. This has been a nightmare. Stay clear of this company. Still building my case against this manufacturer. This whole experience has ruined ever wanting to own a travel trailer again.

BUYER BEWARE: Our brand new 2022 Forest River Heritage Glen 308RL is the poorest quality of anything I've ever bought. It has had more problems than I could have even imagined. The craftsmanship is a horrible, and for a quality rating, I'm generous giving it a 0 .
There's ZERO warranty support, and no way to get in touch with a real person at Forest River. Voicemails are unreturned as I'm sure they're inundated with complaints.
Further, in the even of a warranty issue, the manufacturer and dealership simply put the owner in the middle, each side blaming the other, but neither willing to resolve the issue under warranty. It took 9 months to get a replacement part, only to find that it was the wrong part, and after waiting for delivery, we were notified that the warranty expired, and we were no longer covered.
Not surprisingly, the $5,000 add-on warranty we purchased from the dealership also did not cover the issue either.
Lastly, now that the unit is 2 years old, the value is at 30% of what we paid for it! Basically $50,000 worth of firewood.
Of all the mistakes I've made in my life, this was the most financially catastrophic! Keep looking.

This is an awesome trailer for a couple young or old. The large shower and rear bath is spacious and make it easy for those with a physical handicap or small children. Love the floor plan, kids love the back bedroom even though they are always trying to sneak inside. The outside kitchen is amazing I can't say enough about it, big fridge work area and griddle. I don't wanna give it up because of that. Hookups for washer dryer in bedroom is convenient, just don't use it when your inside, first time I thought there was a earthquake cause of the shaking. Now the not fun parts, slides have holes on both side at floor level, toilet needed a new seal on day one. Many of the cabinets only have one screw holding the door on, the slide lost the bolts and went in sideways, chair had issues and wouldn't close properly and many of the hole covers didn't have any cover at all. Also the shower wasn't sealed properly so water leaked into the wall and floor. Leveling bolts under slides where never tightend down so they fell out. Took all this to my dealer who after over month is still waiting to hear what to do from the warranty department. Other then all that I do live it but I'm being over ruled into looking at a better brand, properly lose my great outdoor kitchen though.

I will never buy a Forest River product again after being totally ghosted when all I need is an awning arm shipped from Minneapolis to Detroit Lakes. 10 months and still no part. I can’t imagine if/when the AC fails. My dealer has making an effort and they get no response. Absolutely disgusted!!!!!!

This is the second Heritage Glen we have owned. The first one was amazing. This one however has been nothing but a nightmare. We fell in love with the floor plan as it would accommodate our kiddos but still give us ample living space. However the first trip we took we realized it was a mistake! The AC does not cool the bedroom or loft. If it is 70 degrees in the living area the master bedroom and loft will be 85-90 degrees. We were forced to travel with a portable ac unit just to be able to sleep. Also on the first long trip we took we had broken slides, auto level malfunctions, 3 shattered glass shower doors (even though they were locked in place), the drawers in the bedroom dresser fell apart, one by one the window shades broke, the black tank flush stopped working, and the refrigerator latches came loose allowing all of the contents to empty on the floor. Heritage Glen has refused to address the AC issue stating "it isn't a manufacture defect, it is a floor plan issue" which means warranty will not cover it. When speaking with Tashia at forest river she was incredibly rude and even gave me an analogy to explain her point. Her analogy was this... "If I buy a car and decide I don't like the back seat I cant expect the manufacturer to change the back seat just because I don't like it". This was the most ridiculous irrelevant analogy she could have given. I explained to her that when you buy a car you drive it first. You are able to test the back seat. When we spend $60,000 plus on a camper we are trusting in good faith that major issues like this have been tested as we do not have the luxury of taking the camper for a "Test Drive". At this point the only thing we can do is get an attorney involved. So very sad and ridiculous.

What a $35k piece of garbage. I will make a point of researching where and what company is manufacturing our next trailer. 2021 and I am still trying to get the issues addressed, so frustrated with General RV who took no responsibility and told us to contact the manufacturer, which we did, might have as well screamed into the wind.
