First off, we bought a 2021 Forest River fifth wheel back in October 2021. Within two weeks, our cable to the electricity box caught on fire. If we had not been home, our RV and parent's home beside the camper would have burned. Next, within a few days of our purchase, our master toilet had clogged. We used only RV toilet paper….we contacted Crowder and they told us it might be the septic tank we were hooked into. We had it pumped, but that did not fix the problem. During attempted use of the toilet after pumping, sewage spewed up into the sink and shower and spewed out the back of the RV several times. We persisted that Crowder come get the RV and check it out. Even though the contract that we signed says we have to bring the RV to them, we felt that since we had issues within a few days of buying, Crowder should come to us. Also, with it only being a 2021 camper. After much persistence and a bad review, Crowder came. Crowder cut out a piece of clogged plumbing and told us it was the toilet paper we were using. We used the correct paper from the start and knew this was not going to solve the problem. Crowder then asked us to put up a review that they fixed it. We did. But, within the next three days, the toilet clogged again. Crowder had us take pictures of the black tank and they sent it to Forest River; then it was discovered the black tank was on backward. Crowder had to come back and get the RV again and replace it with a new black tank. This took about three weeks. Crowder says they went above and beyond when they came to get our RV, three times. First off, they had to come get it that many times because of a misdiagnosis on their part. If our RV had not had a second-half bathroom, we would not have been able to stay in it. This has been a very big inconvenience! So far, that issue is resolved. However, as soon as we hooked the RV back up the heating unit would not work. It’s wintertime now. We called an RV repair company to come to take a look. They could not find the problem onsite and had to take the heating unit into their shop. They took it apart and found a huge hole burnt inside the unit. The man said in his 15 yrs' experience that, he had never seen that before. Our warranty paid part, and the manufacturer replaced the heating unit, and the repair man reinstalled it. But it cost us $300. He then informed us that the 20-21 RVs were hodge-podge together because during Covid, supplies were short, and the manufacturers used whatever they could get. He also informed us that the hose was leaking gas and carbon monoxide and our monoxide detector never went off!!! Therefore, it was defective. We feel we could have lost our lives, and with all the issues we have had with this RV, we do not feel we can sell it, rent it or live in it with good conscience. We have asked Crowder and Forest River to either take the unit back at no money lost to us or put it on Crowders' lot and resell the unit. So far, Crowder has responded with. You have a warranty. Get the problems fixed as they come about, and enjoy your RV. There is no enjoyment here, it has been one issue after another and we don’t want to deal with any other issues that may arise. Or put anyone else through what we have been through. Crowder did not respond to our request to sell the unit on their lot. Forest River continues to say their warranty is not transferable to a second owner. Crowder's mission statement and values is on a card they gave us when we purchased: Why we exist; our MISSION STATEMENT: Equipping our region with the resources needed to enjoy the RV lifestyle by serving with excellence those God brings our way. What we stand for; our VALUES: with co-workers, with customers, with vendors. In all we do. Positive Attitude - Honoring God with my best each day Respect - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you Honesty - The truth will set you free Diligence - Going the second mile Generosity - It is better to give than receive

We have a place at a RV Resort an hour or so from home. We visited several RV before finding this one. We instantly like the floor plan because of the upstairs loft for our small grandkids to go hang out. We had to have it delivered and they guy was really old and didn’t know much more about setting it all up as I did. So we didn’t have hot water and when I called the sales lady she gave us service well we tried explaining what was going on when they yelled and screamed saying we ruined the tank. So we had a Rv repair come out and showed us how to work it. We still have issues tho. Too hot or too cold. In the cold months the kitchen is cold while upstairs living room is hot. But the absolute worst is the AC it won’t get our room or the loft cool. It never gets lower than 80 with 2 big box fans going. We got it February 28, 2022 I’ve fought with dealership that was a joke OKRV MOORE, Ok DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! WHEN YOU SIGN FOR THE RV THEY DUMP YOU FLAT!! And FORREST RIVER MANUFATUER IS 100x WORSE! The people lie, or quit, or never can get ahold of. Plus the carpet was stained when we got it and where they staples the seams they put mud over staples from front to back side to side mud swiped over the ceilings around the ceiling trim . The heat isn’t working right now and it makes a huge noise. Just beware. I wish I wouldn’t got it for simple fact being in a Rv with AC either too small or the duct work has came loose. Either way we can’t get cool. Also our Rv 5th wheel is under several shade trees and a cover Rv carport so it’s plenty of shade to keep cool. This is a manufactur issue that they won’t honor! BEWARE!!They want us to bring it to them but we would have to pay to have it towed to OKC/MOORE area and these aren’t actually warranty issues these are things that should be working before they ever delivered it and they didn’t. Now we’re out of luck unless we want to pay $1,000 to have it towed. Which I agree if it’s warranty. These are things that didn’t get done right at the manufacturer!! FORREST RIVER RV MANUFACTURING COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND NOR DO THEY HONOR THEIR OWN PRODUCT!!

This is a great trailer for the money and perfect for us when we started as we did not know if we would like Camping or could handle driving a trailer. Now that we are committing ourselves to a long term future we want to upgrade to a larger one that can accommodate us better for longer road trips, i.e. a month at a time. This camper is good for short stays but is not really suitable for hanging inside all day. Its easy to manage, set up, and tow. If you are a beginner to camping or just looking for a small camper for short getaways you will enjoy this

Had to replace tires under 1000 miles. Bought the nicer heritage Glenn travel trailer with lighter colored furniture. The leather/material started peeling off after only three times using trailer. It is bonded leather which is not used anymore. Called Forest River would not do anything to help with flawed furniture. Trailer only used 5 times, sits in building never sat out. Contacted Forest River Heritage Glen division and after 4 weeks of calling and emailing talked with someone. Got a email back and they said it was only a one year warranty on furniture. Forest River does not care about their customers,! Beware poor customer service! Website not let me upload photos.

My wife and I bought our NEW 2022 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen 308rl from a dealer in Lakeview, OH in September 2021. While we absolutely love camping, this travel trailer is absolutely the WORST QUALITY in BOTH MATERIALS and CRAFTSMANSHIP I've ever encountered. While the unit does have a 1 YEAR WARRANTY, it takes several MONTHS to get warranty parts, and even longer to get the service from the dealer. Nearly a year after purchase, we're still waiting for more than a half dozen items to be fixed under "warranty". Here's a brief rundown of the specific issues we've encountered since buying this unit: - Cabinet hinges literally fall out of the cabinet doors. The hinge is just glued into the wood, and with varying temperatures, the glue adhesive fails and the door will literally come off in your hand as you open the cabinet. This has occurred with approximately half of the cabinet doors on board. - Motion-sensor lights turn on and off randomly. This unit comes with motion-sensing light fixtures in the closet and pantry. ALL of the motion-sensing light turn on and off at random throughout all hours of the day and night. - Power and USB receptacles separate loose from the wall easily. As you plug and unplug electric cords or USB cables, the screws holding the receptacle in the wall come loose from the wall board itself. In under 1 year of ownership, this has occurred in 6 different outlets within the camper. - Interior doors warped. It came from the factory this way, but both the bathroom and pantry doors warp and will not close or latch properly. This was "fixed" by the service technician when we initially purchased the unit, however, instead of replacing the warped doors, they simply moved the location of the door hinge so it would close. Since then, the doors have warped further and now no longer latch. It's especially a problem with the bathroom door as you can imagine. - Reclining mechanisms in theatre seats grind and collide during use. If you sit and recline either of the theatre seats, you'll hear the metal grinding against the frame of the chair. When you retract the footrest, the base hits the floor of the camper, and will not close until you get up from the seat. This has been "fixed" once already by a technician, but started again within a week. We were told they "adjusted the mechanism" during the initial repair, but absolutely nothing was replaced to correct the problem. - The pantry door doesn't clear the floor of the slide-out located directly beside it, so it's only possible to open the pantry door halfway. It's only an issue if you wish to store larger items, or need the door to stay open while you're stocking the pantry. - Further, the refrigerator opens directly into the pantry door, causing the door knob of the pantry to hit the metal front of the fridge. You must be exceptionally careful when opening the refrigerator so you don't dent the face of it on the pantry door knob. - The bedroom features a camper king, which is great, however, the space beneath the bed has been fashioned into a storage area, which requires that the bed be lifted to access. That storage area is held in place with 2 hydraulic arms, one of which broke and leaked hydraulic fluid all over the items being stored there. You'll also notice a 2" gap between the two sections of plywood that serve as the based for the mattress, which over the course of the year has begun to slump in the middle, between the hinges. I can only assume that this will continue to get worse over time. - The dresser drawers in the bedroom have particle board bottoms, which when items are placed inside (clothes only), also warps, collapses and falls into the drawer beneath, or onto the floor for the bottom drawer. I know this because it happened with each and every drawer. - The plastic water valves for the washer/dryer prep began a slow leak, which we discovered only after enough time had passed where water accumulated in the closet shelf, soaking clothes, blankets, etc. As long as you don't store anything valuable, or anything that can't get wet in the closet, you'll be fine though. - The camper model has a great deal of decorative moulding and decorative wood(ish) finish work, most of which has fallen off each time the camper is moved. As long as you don't move the camper, it will stay in place. - The propane tank valve only works for the right-side tank. When you rotate the selector to the left tank and open the valve, no propane. - The shower drain leaked into the compartment under the shower, which then spread to the bathroom floor. This was fixed under warranty and we've had no trouble since. - The heating element for the water heater has now been replaced twice, which has also been fixed under warranty both times. Again, this was a BRAND NEW unit when we purchased. And if you can believe it, this isn't even a complete list of the issues!
