Well let me start off by saying we had a Prowler as our starter camper. It was great but there were many things that we noticed after buying it that we wish we would have had. Like dual air conditioning, instant hot water, and a little bit more space in the bunk room. We went to a RV Show last December in Novi Michigan and fell in love with the Forest River Wildwood 31kqbts. We instantly implied to see if we could trade our old one in and get this one and we were approved. We took delivery of it in December of 2024 and we got it from Funtown RV in North Branch Michigan. Upon picking it up I made the mistake of believing the inspectors that they ran water through it and did all the proper checks. Fast forward to April 2025 we took it out for the first time. So when we first hooked it up we had furnace issue. The furnace would only fire up once and then upon cycling would never get hot again. Also hooked the water up and had water leaking out of the outdoor kitchen. Found loose plumbing and also it has a sink with a drain that slides in and out with the slide. It was a hard PVC plastic and it was completely broken half. Upon walking into the camper we tried the first sink faucet in the kitchen and it shot water out like 8 ft. So I had to go buy a new faucet instantly. $200 later I went to install the faucet and when I looked under the sink the drain pipe was not even connected. I could not even make it connect because the pop was too short so I had to go buy a new PVC and fix that as well. Upon getting the faucet and drains fixed we had zero water pressure although we had water pressure going into the camper. Come to find out all of the sinks and faucets screens were completely clogged with PVC trash from the build. So we finally cleaned all that out. This was a trip from Nightmare as we had no enjoyment at all because we were cold and barely had water. So on the next trip we noticed water leaking in two different spots outside of the camper. Come to find out this thing was not winterized properly and a piece on the instant hot water heater had busted and water was Dripping under the camper. I must say Funtown RV were very good at getting someone to repair the camper. Here we are in August 2025 and I'm currently at a campground in Ohio. Suddenly there's I raised spot in the floor right by the kitchen. Part of the subfloor is coming up and that's a major fix because these campers have a one piece linoleum floor that is put down before the walls and cabinets are built. I just got approved for the repair but it is a major repair and my camper will be at Funtown RV all winter. I love the looks of this camper and I love the functionality of everything but I must say I never my wildest dreams thought we would have so many problems. I would personally steer clear of this model because it's new. And clearly these things are built entirely too fast with no proper inspections.

I like the setup with the bunkhouse as i have small kids and it's a good area for them in both size and setup. The main bedroom is a good size. The format of the interior is one on the reasons I purchased this model.
The issue is the quality of the product is sub-par. Faucets installed backward, leaking. Tub enclosure just installed wrong where they had to order new one (still waiting, now almost a year). The furnace failed the first use. The steps they installed prevents the door from closing easily. With the lights on ,if you look at the ceiling and walls you can see the nails and the smear of material the used to cover them. Main window behind couch leaked. Screens in bedroom doesn't fit correctly. Check out the exterior kitchen, seals around door doesn't fit correctly, no cabinets to store anything there. I don't even know why the provide a stereo speakers for the interior or exterior because they're garbage. Still waiting on parts to fix the above. Missing trim. Missing cushions for couch.
Some of the minor items I did notice but they said they'd take care of them, the major items i couldn't see or didn't know (new to RVs).
I'm not sure if this is indicative of the quality of all the Forest River RVs but i can tell you I'll do a little more research and avoid Forest River or the other names the company goes by.

This has been the worst product/experience with owning a camper. I purchased this last November, and from day one this unit has been nothing but problems. The first thing that was faulty was the fireplace it didn’t work the day I picked it up that was replaced, next we dealt with a water leak on the unit and it ended up being a whole in the slide roof from the manufacture not to mention one of the dinning room slide windows was falling out, the next thing on our unit that failed was the refrigerator it would make so much condensation in it that it would run down onto the floor when you pulled the chest drawer on the fridge open. I got a lovely call from the wife this morning to inform me that we have yet another leak but this time it’s in the master closet area what a pos this product is. As for the dealership there service department is slow and forgetful on coming to make repairs or even document problems after I have complained about them, further more the girl that does the warranty paperwork for the dealership should be fired, she has been nothing but rude and forgetful on getting paperwork done for repairs. I can’t believe the amount of money you spend on these and they are built like s***. I will never purchase another forest river product.

We purchased our TT and picked up in Ohio, did a complete 4 1/2 hour walk through, minor tweeks needed fixing, added upgrades in mattresses, couches and added anti-sway hitch plus vent covers and upgraded satellite. They did a great first time slide out lube for us, took, care of all requests before we took ownership. Have had one and half years almost. 10 trips out, nothing has fallen apart, leaked or had troubles with. We check slides every 3 months as recommended, lube slides and under belly gears and baby power the rubber, we have added the durabond tape to roof seals after first year as recommended, all seals still great. We take care of small troubles before becomes an,issue as is needed with any home or auto you purchase. Air conditioner excellent, furnace used through snow storms and excellent, all water plumbing and wiring has been fantastic. Everything slides smoothly and no flooring issues or siding issues as we stay on top of any slight troubles quickly. We do complete flush of water tanks every 4 months and even, fresh water tank also as told to do. Keep a running log of upkeep and stay on top of it in a timely manner. I think your walk through is utmost important, have things fixed then or if sever problems, don't sign. get another unit all together. Once its yours TAKE CARE OF IT RESPONSIBLY. I WOULD RECOMMEND THE WILDWOOD AND HAVE.
