I wish I could give Forest River a big fat ZERO but I can't. They don't deserve even one star, Folks, my experience has been horrible with Forest River and Blue Compass RV who sold the Class C motorhome to me as well as GMC who manufactured the chassis and the engine. When I say horrible, I mean fraud, Breach of Warranty, concealed rust, safety hazards I reported to the NHTSA and there were recalls as a result, leaking propane, faulty LP detector, electrical issues, leaking generator, fuel line leaks, awning not opening or closing, bugs everywhere inside my RV, leaking roof, etc, This is really the most disturbing issue. I bought it brand new. I have paid over $40,000 along with attorney's fees, expert fees and I have a HUGE amount of monetary damages, too and punitive damages to add to that. All of what I just listed, I have only put 167 miles on my new 2025 Forest River Sunseeker. That's right. Let's hope you never have to pay $40,000 for 167 miles. I continue having to pay payments and insurance due to Forest River not refunding me for the lemon they created just for me, I have had dealings with the attorney for Forest River and Mr. Kevin Stratton from Forest River, and with all these problems, during the first few months, nothing has been fixed and they REFUSE to take responsibility. The attorney from Forest River even made light of us sleeping in a motorhome that was leaking propane with no LP detector working. He said that since the propane was venting and leaking to the outside that we were not in any danger. Last I heard, electricity and gas ovens and leaking propane and leaking fuel lines don't mix well. I have had it towed with a wrecker twice now and Kevin Stratton wanted me to tow it again on my dime so they could look at the problems after it has sat over 120 in the shop at Blue Compass. The Forest River Sunseeker has spent over 120 days in the shop and it won't even start. That is right!! It won't start. It is not a battery issue. It leaks noxious fluids all over my driveway and it won't even start. I am afraid that my home might blow up with it sitting and leaking fuel all over my driveway. Almost two years since 5/31/24 I have only been able to use it for 167 miles and yet Forest River denies that they made a lemon. They want to keep my money so they can make one off these RVs for you! I wish my nightmare was over but it is not. Kevin Stratton and the attorney for Forest River are unscrupulous. They won't budge. They point their finger at Blue Compass RV but they manufactured the motorhome. They point their finger at me for not wanting to wait another 120 days for another dealer to try their hand at fixing it. The Lemon Law is of 30 days of re[aor time in Missouri. Blue Compass RV and Forest River and GMC have had ample time to fix it but every issue still remains. Somehow when my motorhome was in the shop at Blue Compass, someone enjoyed putting 284 miles on it without my knowledge or permission. I can go on and on and on. My dreams of traveling the USA have turned into to a real life nightmare. GMC manufactured the chassis and I purchased two extended warranties for my motorhome, very expensive ones. GMC has refused to service my motorhome at every single place I have called. The only reason it was serviced once at a Chevrolet dealer is because they did it as a favor for Forest River. I wish I could have spared myself this misery, Just when I thought I was going to finally see the USA, I sit in my home and wait to be reimbursed for this huge box of evidence leaking all over my driveway that won't even start. I dream of having avoided this Forest River, Blue Compass RV and GMC Chevrolet nightmare. Fraud, Breach of Warranty, concealment of rust, serious and dangerous defects, too.

I bought a this RV brand new and it is falling apart. Front end alignment is way off (still trying to get someone to fix this) a spot in the bedroom floor feels like I will fall through it if I step on it. Storage compartment has separated from the RV and fills with water anytime the road is wet (I expect it will fall out soon) Radio goes blurry. Auto leveling frequently does not engage. (One time it left us jacked into the air delaying our departure by almost a full day) cabinets are delaminating. Shower and backsplash has separated from the wall. The list goes on. We can not get support on this despite multiple frequent attempts. We were sold garbage for a premium price

We've used this RV for a few years now. It runs excellent and the open floor plan and lots and lots of storage is fantastic!! We had plenty of room to put in 2 normal full size queen mattresses which are much better than the standard RV-type mattresses. Everything just works and living in it for long vacations is wonderful. Never leaked during rain storms, etc, and plenty of hot water. Really like that the frig and freezer keeps working with the electric goes out as it works on propane as well. No food spoilage! Water heater works on both propane and electric as well, so we have hot water and hot showers even if there's no electric hookup. Really love the internal 4,000 watt generator that starts up at the push of a button if electric hookup is not working for long periods of time or boon docking. :)

I love the floorplan and the features. The quality is terrible. Warpage of the interior (we keep our RV inside), the sealed compartments came apart and allowed mice and dirt in everywhere (I had to fix it myself). I will have to replace the door prop. I asked the interior to be fixed and spoke to a manager at Forest River who promised to make it right.. They did not, the dealer said they will not help. I am getting a new bigger RV in a couple years, won't be a Forest River. The factory installed the wind stops on the awning upside down. The airbags don't hold air. The pantry is fine as long as you don't use it (the shelves collapse while driving) even the one with chips and snacks (light). The drawer stops to keep them shut were installed so far off, they break when trying to close the drawers and now one slides open when we drive. The stove top was not properly installed and bubbled on first use, again no replacement, I just have to buy a new one or live with it looking bad (this should have been checked by the dealer). The trailer lights do not have a left signal or brake light when attached to the RV, but are perfect on my truck with the same trailer. I get "it's the chassis manufacturer's fault" and they say it's the RV manufacturer 99% of the time (so they will charge me to fix it). The unit has 7500 miles on it, and we are very careful to take care of our things, so no, it's not us. To add insult to injury, upon delivery, one of the exterior door keepers (keeps the door panel up) was so far off, the dealer could not get it to work, so they added another, and now have two of them for one door and it looks funny. I don't like giving bad reviews, and we do love the RV, we just wish we had paid closer attention to quality when we chose our Sunseeker. Honestly, for about $100 more, and a little more time to look things over before delivery, this would be a great unit.

This is our third motorhome. We had a 2015 same product and took it toward alaska and really didn't have much of a problem. The pantry door kept opening when we hit bumps but that was corrected on the 2018. But it was on lots of terrible roads and had a couple of things that we wanted changed. Like sofa, solar, arctic package. The 2018 we got has been one problem after another. Same floor plan. The oven is terrible. Doesn't work. I would rather have the storage space like in the 2015. The quality is poor. Little things like screws not staying in the "not" wood on drawers and cabinets. Delamination of wood around the refrigerator area. The refrigerator keeps being a problem. Stops working for no apparent reason. Warranty work repaired some but it is leaking inside now. AC leaks inside. We feel that the product is just shabby materials and workmanship. One thing after another snaps off or breaks. It drives OK. We will never purchase another Forest River Product. The place we purchased it has done good by us but they can only offer so much.

We purchased this RV in November 2019. We LOVE the floor plan. It drives great. Overall, the quality is as expected for the price. This RV is at the lower end price range for rigs of this type. We took our first BIG trip in February 2020 anticipating being gone 4-5 weeks. To this point, we had not had any problems with the unit. The FIRST night on the road, the full length slide jacked up. It hung up half way out. It wouldn't go out, it wouldn't go in. It just so happened, where we were camping had an onsite repair shop. The onsite tech found that there were 3" screws used to attach the nightstand by the bed, when only 1"-2" screws were all that was needed. During the extending of the slide, the screws got wrapped around some wiring, pulled the wiring loose, and shorted out the motor. We called Forest River Customer Service and got approval to replace the damaged motor. Unfortunately, it couldn't be overnighted because the tech missed the call in deadline by 5 minutes (it was 1:00 pm); and Forest River would not make an exception. So, 3 days later, we were back on the road. 2 stops later, the slide failed again! We called a mobile repair person who came out and was able to reset the motor. Again, 2 stops later, the slide out jacked up again. This time, the mobile repair rep took the slide apart so he could force it back in so we could get home, as we were only 6 hours away. We drove home with the slide held in by vice grips and come-alongs. We immediately took the RV back to the dealership for repair. After several days, they replaced the front motor, and said everything else checked out. Fast forward 30 days. We decide to take a short trip, but before making the reservations, we checked the slide to make sure it would work. It didn't. It's back at the dealership, and we aren't able to take our trip. So far, we've been unable to use our RV for most of the time we've owned it. To make matters worse, we still haven't received reimbursement for all the work that was done to it while we were on vacation. $1,500+. Over the past 3 weeks, we've sent numerous emails, left several voice mail messages, with no contact by Forest River. Today, we talked with someone who promised she would get in touch with our rep and make sure she called us. Surprisingly, she called us within 10 minutes. We were promised that all this will be taken care of ASAP. The excuse now is the "working from home COVID19" problems. I've worked from home. It shouldn't slow you down. As I stated previously, we love the motorhome. We just want it fixed so we can use it!!!! I will be happy to amend my review if the motorhome is repaired in a timely fashion and we are finally able to use it.

This system is very good for small slide out... Dealer change the motor for 500/1 with sunseeker garanty. Always screw to tight. Now at the dealer again because the track system broke and I dont know if extended garanty with pay for it. If I have to change it, I will choose an other floor plan just because the slide out system.. But Sunseeker Cie was OK. Hope they will change that slide out system for future customer!!!

Very excited to get this rig new for full-timing because of nice size and layout, but poor quality issues started showing up in the first month of use: curtains coming apart, shades not retracting, water damaging the fake corrian which wraps the fiberboard counters and sink inserts. Bigger issues of leaking shower, wrapped bathroom walls, and leaking slide-out in month 2. Unacceptable quality and design issues all around, I would steer everyone clear of Forest River products if this the direction their build quality and design decisions are going. We sold it back to the dealer after 2.5 months because the list of repairs were growing faster than the dealer could fix them. And some of the repairs, the service people had no clue as to what their causes were. Took a big loss financially but decided the motorhome's future was going to be nothing but heartache for us.
