We purchased our Cedar Creek in 2018 and lived in it full time for a year and a half in 2019-2020 in western South Dakota, a portion of that time being the third coldest winter in South Dakota's recorded history! While other full-time RVers were dealing with frozen pipes, our unit handled the below zero temps successfully, thanks to the tank heaters, custom skirting, and other typical winterizing measures taken. We have two house dogs, one an 85 lb. black lab, and we didn't have any space issues having them in the RV. I worked remotely, so we replaced the tri-fold couch in the 2nd bedroom with a sit-stand desk for my computer workstation. I also used the 2nd bedroom/office as my vanity, clothes closet and dresser, and coffee nook. We also wintered in it for 6 months in Arizona, November through April, and the two A/C units kept up with the 80+ degree days. We were very comfortable. The electric fireplace in the living room helped warm the RV when nights were cool. The only reason we are selling is because we downsized to a Class C so we can make shorter trips and I am able to help drive. Although we like our new Class C, it does not carry the quality of workmanship, cabinetry, and furniture as our Forest River, so we will miss that. Show less

We decided to pick up the rig in Ohio. We drove from CA and were out in a flash from the dealer. It was truly a shake down trip. Pleasantly, we had very few issues! stuck door, a few minor design issues that made me scratch my head. But overall, this is a great product! The workmanship is, in my opinion, better than average. compared to a pull trailer, this thing pulls like a dream! On long stretches, I sometimes forgot it was back there. We did have one recall where they forgot to put the slide skis on 2 of the 3 slide-outs. That will be handled soon. So, over all, I am very pleased with the decision to go with Cedar Creek. I am not a full timer and we have had it out 4 times since September. I do believe though that this is a great destination trailer. Show less

I have owned this motorhome since I bought it new in 2019. I have driven it from Seattle to Disney World, and to the national parks of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana and many places in between. I have 37k miles on it and have lived in it since shortly after I bought it. As far as manufacturing and assembly, all the important pieces work well except for the refrigerator. When it was a few months old, we had a torrential rainstorm in Salt Lake City and the refrigerator outside panel was not installed properly. As a result water poured into the refrigerator workings and it was damaged. After warranty repair, it works acceptably but ice cream will get a little soft in very hot weather. Other than that, a few small trim pieces in the coach were not installed correctly. I have had no other issues with the generator, the furnace, the two wonderful air conditioners, and the three TV's which are Furion. They have excellent pictures and one is very large. I tow a Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk behind it and it does fine. I have had no suspension work on it and I find it very controllable. The only time I get white knuckles is when I am going over a narrow bridge with opposing traffic. The motorhome is wider than some of the lanes on county roads and it is tight on some state highways. I read about people who have all kinds of trouble but I think it is just like buying anything, some people are not lucky, and some people are. I replaced the king mattress that came with it with a memory cell mattress, and I sleep very well in it. I have two big dogs, and they have plenty of room to stretch out. I love my FR3 and it works great as a home I can go almost anywhere in. I would highly recommend it for its relatively low price and its reliability, as well as its comfort. Show less

What an amazing layout. You could seriously full time in this RV. Tons of space. The back room can be used for an office or an extra bedroom. There's even an extra bathroom back. The kitchen is made for a mini chef. Huge fridge and stove makes my wife feel at home. Master bedroom has a king size bed. HUGE closet with enough space for a washer and dryer. Loft is useful for friends that wanted to stay the night. You could use it as storage too. Makes the RV feel bigger and roomier. Cons: The back room would get a little cold at night so we just bought an electric heater. Overall..It's one of the best layouts we've' ever been in. Show less

We are original owners of a 2005. It was perfect to have a separate bunkhouse for our son while he was growing up. We never had a problem with this unit. It served our family very well. Quality was superb, upholstery, appliances all have served us perfectly. Show less

This has been a great coach. We ordered it from the factory and Cedaf Creek was willing to put in the changes we asked for. Towing is a breeze and hook up and unhooking is simple with the 6 point hydraulic system. The coach is 34 feet but feels much Bigger thanks to the opposing slides, the floor space is actually big enough to dance in. The master bed room is real nice sized and the king bed is great. The stackable washer an drier gets rid of the drudge of going to the laundry mat. As for cons . I don't have any. Show less

Bought this RV used at 9 years old. Excellent condition. Only issue at this point was soft rotted wood in the BR slide out, typical leak for this rig. Water invaded through the bottom side trim. I knew this was issue when I bought the RV. A little effort to replace the floor, found the bottom "pan" was cracked once I got to it but FR had the part for $16 shipping. We've enjoyed this RV so far, typical issue of needing 2nd AC unit for hot southern days! Added that unit this summer, was already prewired! ALWAYS have a good charged battery, the slide operation is BR, DR, kitchen and requires a lot of power. Show less

It’s a real good RV. Just a little long for some camp sites. Very comfortable, adequate space in living areas. All appliances work great. Furnace keeps the area warm in 30 degree temperatures. Dual zone air conditioning works well even at St George Island, Fl. Load with your equipment and you’re ready to go. Show less

This is a very open floor plan with a clear and wide view from the living area that lets in a lot of sun light. From the large shower area to the king size bed to the quiet ac, this RV is great for full or part time living or just for a nice getaway. It is such a well built 5th wheel. We have been very pleased. Show less
