Well we only owend this fifthwheel for 2 years and finally able to use it because if this damn covid bull crap . On a trip across the U.S. there was several things that I noticed for one the craftsmanship sucks the plugs are loose and about to come out. The cable for the TV hook up is broke somewhere and unable to us it , the TV screen mount screw are coming out the light in the hood has fallen out won't stay in and the biggest one is the main slide out is f@#@ up . I've contacted where we brought and they said it out of warranty so I'd think twice before you buy one of these trailers !!!!! Show less

Start by saying I still love this camper and it tows amazingly! Now the bad stuff on the first trip propane tank fell off , the water pump under the kitchen seating area was spraying the electrical wires on the breaker panel , the fitting on the kitchen sink had a leak and small odor. The second trip- found vent under bathroom faucet glued open " the odor smell", the toilet was spraying water due to cross threaded fitting and had to be removed completely on trip and trim around the door came off. Third trip- water pump stopped working due to wiring not clamped properly, wall panel by bed came due to not being stapled but just taped together, cabinet door came off due to stripped screws, found interior wall bubbling in a area where there is no holes or water, stripped screws all around the front door and silicone on front top screw strip came off. Fourth trip- found support bracing boards under kitchen seat and bottom bed not screwed, trim above seat was stripped in 2 spots and a weird square soft spot like missing plywood in the middle of the floor. When you call you just get a run around or some lady calls and promises $500 to take your review down so I just fixed everything myself. My family just got bigger so we would like bigger one but don't feel like going through this all over again. Might try another brand. Show less

We love the layout and interior finishes of our new Shasta, however there are a lot of parts that have been cheaply made or assembled. Our RV has already been in the shop a few times this year for warranty work. Our electric water heater board was faulty, our sink drains were not installed properly and caused leaks, and the seat backs of our dinette were not screwed in, causing tears in the fabric. The exterior shower was not assembled properly, so that was another leak we had to deal with. Our inside shower has recently started leaking from behind the insert and the siding has also separated from underneath the steps. Last night our heater stopped working, so we will need to bring it back for more warranty work. Although I love the camper, I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the assembly in the factory. Bought what I thought was my dream travel trailer 3 months ago. I travel for work so stay in it for months at a time. Took it one my first assignment 2 weeks ago and the refrigerator stops cooling. I cannot find anyone to work on it. The manufacturer won't return calls. The RV repair places won't touch it because the refrigerator is a 12v and not a standard RV fridge. The refrigerator repair places won't touch it because it's inside a RV. The manufacturer is absent with all of this. Meanwhile, I have lost all of its contents and still no further in getting it looked at or replaced than I was last week. If ANY RV has an Everchill refrigerator in it, walk away! FYI, in my hunt for help with this particular problem, Forrest River is who manufactures Shasta and is in the midst of a class action lawsuit for failing to comply with warranty work. Show less

Beautiful unit! Cabinet and pantry space is amazing as well as the amount of outside storage. We would recommend this model to anyone looking to become Fulltime RVer's. It is a very warm, cozy and roomy house on wheels. Show less
