** WORST RV PURCHASE EVER ** This is my 3rd RV, (2 from McClains And now this Forest River Sabre from Fun Town). I purchased this Supposed state of the art fifth wheel unit with the side patio at the cowboy stadium event back in April 2025. This unit was the number one hit at our first RV outings with several of our camping groups. In 12 calendar months, we have only been able to use this unit three times. After each outing with the unit, there were problems and issues with the unit and after all three outings, we would IMMEDIATELY take the unit back to fun town RV in Cleburne, Texas. With the first & 2nd Repairs in April 2025, it took approximately four months for all repairs to eventually be completed, (To be fair, they did allow me to come pick the unit up for a weekend event we had previously scheduled, and I immediately brought it back for the repairs to be completed). Those repairs were eventually completed August 9, 2025. We made our third trip in the trailer, to Galveston, Texas the last week of December, 2025 and departed the RV park January 6th 2026, where we immediately drove from Galveston, Texas to Cleburne Texas to drop the unit off because of, once again, breakdowns and issues with the unit. The unit had several issues, but, the main primary issue was a defective black tank that needed to be replaced. With this issue and all the previous issues where it took them so long to repair, the fun town dealership kept encouraging me to reach out to Forest River so that I, the customer, could have them speed up the approval process and the sending out of the parts process because, fun town said thatβs what they were waiting on. I was basically put in the middle and forced to try and be my own advocate & facilitator to get my RV unit repaired between fun town and Forest River. As of today, April 16, 2026, my unit is still at the fun town dealership. They did receive the black tank two weeks ago, but, it still has not been installed. I was initially told, several months ago, that when the tank comes in, I would be made priority and they would rush my unit in to get it fixed and that it should only take about five hours. I contacted the service manager yesterday, Andrew Allegra, and he advised my unit has been in the shop for eight days, but that, he could not understand why it has not been completed yet. He advised me that he would get on it today and he apologized about the delay and he advised that he will check into the reason why it has taken so long. With my unit being in the shop for so long, my one year Unlimited warranty ran out last week. Fun town advise that I should reach out to Forest River to see about them extending my warranty since my trailer has been in the shop for OVER six months of the 12 months, I have owned it. I just contacted Forest, Rive, owners relation department, and spoke with a representative there by the name of Miss Randy. I advise her of the situation and am requesting an additional six months of unlimited warranty for my unit since I have only used it three times and it has been in the shop for over six months of the 12. She advised me that she will speak with her boss today and call me back with an answer. With this last repair where the unit was dropped off January 6, 2026, these last 3 months has been so frustrating and inconvenient. We have missed so many camping outings, holiday outings, etc. because the unit that I am paying for, is not available to me. I have made 3 trailer payments, I have made 3 RV storage unit Payments, I have paid insurance for 3 months, but, I have not had any use of this unit. Unfortunately, I am locked in, contractually, to this unit until I pay it off. However, I will never buy again, nor would I ever recommend again to anyone that they purchase a RV unit from Fun town and also Forest River. Both companies are so unaccommodating when it comes to taking care of the customer post purchase. What we are told and promised pre-purchase, does not match the care we will get post purchase. I feel scammed and duped!!!!π€π€π€

I purchased a Forest River Sabre Cobalt 2 bedroom 5th wheel in 04/2024 for $88,000 plus $7500 and paid for an extended warranty from RV Broker through Good Sams. My refrigerator has been non functional since 02/2024 and was still under factory warranty. I have paid out of pocket roughly $520 to have the service techs come out to my trailer twice. They finally dertermined I need a new refrigerator and want another $240 to come out an additional time to install the replacement fridge. I've now been out of a fridge for over 2 months and still waiting. Frustrating as hell. Wait time on phone for RV Broker for service call follow up this morning was 40 minutes. Still not resolved. At this point I would highly recommend staying away from RV Broker and Forest River all together. Simply no excuses for such horrible service.

The midbunk room is a great option for kids or a home office. Tons of storage through out the coach including under belly. The modern decor and residential fridge adds a stylish appearance sure to impress friends and family. Cant say enough great things about this floor plan. The only thing I would change is having large propane tanks which is an easy upgrade!

Mine was built during Covid and had 22 things wrong which Forest River did not want to pay to fix nor send parts in a decent amount of time.
Do not buy this and I will let you know how my lemmon law litigation goes. It takes one year or more of fighting to get your money back. Forest River does not give one crap about you.

Me and my wife lived in this beautiful home for 2.5 years. When we first got the 5th wheel we noticed several leaks. We contacted a Camping World in Florida, they were able to locate and fix most of the leaks. There was a leak in the master bedroom, coming from where no one was able to tell us. So Camping World closed the ticket. The next time and most every time after that, when it rained, it leaked. When Forrest River was contacted about reopening the ticket to have the now damaged places in the RV, they cleverly stated the warranty had expired and the damage was my responsibility, they even stated that the damage was my fault for not maintaining my unit. This is such a rip off, and a scam. DO NOT trust Forrest River! They DO NOT stand behind their poorly designed trailers. I will never own or recommend a Forrest River product again. BEWARE

It is essentially a semi trailer you are pulling, but that gives you plenty of space.

This has been an excellent 5th wheel for 14 years since I bought it new. As any RVer will tell you, they all have their issues. This one has been a solid performer for us living in it full time for 3 years, raising our first babies in it until age 2, and as a live in onsite office while we built our home. The living room slide is massive and was probably more than what they should have designed. A slide topper is critical here to prevent roof warping especially if snow piles on the roof in winter. At times the slide can be problematic to open or close fully, and if unopened fully can cause drafts. Never any bedroom slide problems. Watch the windows for leaks as delamination is common, and have your windows pulled, taped and resealed. That said we lived in all climates in all seasons as far north as Maine and this thing performed well in all. We added a second A/c in the bedroom which was a fairly easy install though not pre-wired. I did have tank failure issues (maybe my fault as they could have retained water when not level when drained for winterizing) but Forest River sold me perfectly matched tanks about year 5 of my ownership for a very reasonable price. When the air mattress on the foldout failed, Forest River sent me a new one as well as a few other parts for no cost even though I was out of warranty. Customer service with Forest River was always excellent. After a few years the entertainment system cd player failed, but the rest of it has held up well. You cant beat the storage and kitchen layout in this unit. Sadly we have to upgrade as kids are getting bigger and want tagalong friends and privacy, but I will really miss this camper. It has been very good to us.
