I bought my camper Dec 21st 2024. I was on the road to live out of it for 2+ months for my job by Jan 15 2025. When purchased, I was told to leave winterized for the trip, due to having a tank less water heater and driving in below freezing temps. In My 7 day drive, my vent from the stove, flew off from the outside, the lid to my propane cover flew off and my caps to the back bumper flew off. I get to my destination and I called RV Mobile for repairs, left a VM asking for a return call. This was Jan 23rd. On Jan 24, I had my water filled up and we were flushing out antifreeze and water was spraying everywhere. We shut everything down and I called RV Mobile again and left another message. 4 days go, and I still have not received a return call. I called back, asked for Manager. Now I have an apt! Water Pump is broken right out of the gate! They order a new part, it comes in. The week they were supposed to come back, my fridge starts with an E4 code. Now, my fridges isn't staying cold and I am losing food. I called RV .Mobile again and report the fridge, this is Feb 14th before I have another appointment. This time to look at fridge and fix the water pump. FEB 14th apoint is my apt, and RV Mobile forgot to pencil my confirmation In. So they call and tell me they will get me wiggled in. Couple hours later RV Mobile calls and says the water pump is not the right part and they cannot fix that day, but will come to look at the fridge. Later this evening, I went to turn the heat on and now my heat isn't working. It's 9 pm on a Friday with temps in low 40⁰s over the weekend, needless to say at this point, I am very upset and about this entire situation. No water, no fridge and no heat. All the things I spent thousands of dollars on, NOT working for me as needed..... That following Thursday, RV Mobile comes out to check my heat, now, we find that when RV Mobile analyzed the fridge, pulled a wire out which caused heat to not work- that's fixed thank goodness!! Fast forward to March 19th (my birthday) I get a call from RV Mobile (no mind you, my water, covers and vents are STILL NOT FIXED), THIS CALL!!!! RV Mobile tells me my fridge arrived from carriers and it's now damaged from a forklift.. I am supposed to leave work in 2 weeks and go home. Need here for 10 weeks and have nothing fixed, nothing working for the reasons I bout this camper. Limited on people who can do manufactured warranty- there is much to blame on Forest Rivers products as well as their certified technicians that is seriously lacking qualifications.

This is a great little trailer that is perfect for a couple or small family. No frills but is also very easy to set up, maintain, and is not overwhelming for new RV owners. For this price point the quality is pretty good and the materials used to construct the trailer are fairly durable. Not having slide outs is not a problem as the floor plan does a great job of maximizing space and giving a true, full size bathroom in such a small trailer. The awning, multiple refrigerators and generous storage space and outlets are bonuses. Comes solar ready as well. I gave 5 stars for support as Forest River has excellent videos on an app to help walk you through every feature of the RV, they are specific to the model and very helpful!

We bought this trailer because we loved the layout and design. As a family of four, the over sized bunk beds were more important for us than a large bathroom, and having a queen sized Murphy bed was a high selling point as well as it maximized interior space. The 2021 model includes a stove which is sunk below counter height in order to give more counter space by putting a cover over the top which makes it level with the counter top (a feature as I will explain later was actually a negative as well). Also it has lots of storage including an outside kitchen with refrigerator, on top of the 12 cu. ft. refrigerator inside. It’s weight (3450 lbs.) is perfect for our SUV which can pull up to 5200 lbs. It has a nice long 14’ awning which is great for this size trailer (19.5 ft. long). So far we’ve found that this trailer meets all our needs. It is small but does everything we need (and then some as we are moving up from a pop up camper). Now for some of the challenges. After owning the trailer for three months we’ve already had four issues with it, having the trailer in the dealership two times. Our hot water heater did not work properly, the shelf in the outdoor kitchen fell off before we even got it home (which we just left off because we appreciated the storage more), the awning motor quit working, and the outdoor kitchen propane hookup didn’t work. Fortunately the trailer is under warranty so we didn’t need to pay for these, but be warned, if you purchased the trailer, like we did, from a dealership several hours away (because it was a great deal), dealerships in your area do not need to service your trailer even if it’s under warranty if you did not buy it from them. Even if you manage to find a dealership which will work on it, they don’t need to prioritize your trailer, but fit it in wherever. Dealerships in our area couldn’t fit us in for several months (yes, months), so we had to take it to a dealership about an hour away which could fit us in in weeks (wasting gas to get it there and back). Lesson is buy your trailer locally even if it costs a bit more. Also we learned that Forest River Salem trailers are made cheaply and we are not sure whether we will purchase another one on the next go around. Now when we go camping we are wondering, “what’s the next thing to break”? And seriously rethinking a big road trip with it as a result. We don’t want to be in the middle of nowhere and have some major go bad.

Used it one time and has been in the shop for 2 and half weeks at Funtown RV in Cleburne Texas because siding is messed up and the workmanship from the factory cut so many corners in quality of manufacturing ! No exhaust fan in bathroom, drawer won’t stay closed, front of refrigerator is coming off, trim outside is coming off, plywood under couch is gone , plywood under bench seats is not cut square or the sent box is out of square , no towel racks in trailer anywhere, no shades in bunk bed windows and you can see easily right in trailer ! Funtown has had our trailer longer than we have being we just bought it at the end of August and we can’t even get any information other than excuses !!!!
