We love how easy the R-Pod itows with our SUV since it's so lightweight. The storage under the queen bed is huge, and I like how everything is easily accessible from the outside on either side of the trailer, as well as from inside. This was perfect for our family of three - two adults and one child. We also had two small children sleep on the dinette bed when we were camping with family / cousins. The sink is much roomier than typical rv sinks, and the automatic vacuum feature makes sweeping and keeping the inside clean SUCH a breeze! That is often the most frustrating thing for me as a mom while camping with kiddos running in and out, but not with the automatic vacuum door. The R-Dome is much easier to set up and take town than you would think when you first look at it, if you just watch one of the tutorial videos on YouTube, and we enjoyed how much moreprivacy it gives than a traditional awning, and makes it conducive to extra kiddos sleeping in it as well. Purchased January 2021. Have made 4 trips and total of 1000 miles. Had a few small issues - wires pulled loose on an outlet and water pump - easy fixes. Found a few loose screws. All found before first trip. Seems like typical stuff talking to other RV owners. Added a 2” foam topper to the mattress right away. Made a huge difference in comfort. Like the simplicity of the R-Pod 171. Black and Grey dump tubes have double hangers - don’t expect problems like older models. Love the built-in vacuum and deep kitchen sink. Lots of storage under the bed and dinette seats. Added an exterior gas grill that connects to the provided LP quick disconnect. Tows great behind my front wheel drive Mazda CX-9 with a weight distribution hitch. Lots of great tips , accessories and modifications posted on internet by R-pod owners. Show less

Purchased RPod 171 new 1/21/19 camping in Sierras 6/7/19 Water heater won't light after 4 tries it caught FIRE , Called local dealer month wait to get in for service contacted Forest River and I'm getting the Email RUN A ROUND , ALSO Refrigerator on coodest setting is barely cold and 2 window blinds are broken .NOT at all happy with my new RPod Show less

The 2011 Forest River RPod is a great RV, as it is with all RPods. Easy to tow, compact, well built, simple to use and set up. Has everything you need in a compact trailer. Great for short or long trips. Can tow with a 6-cylinder vehicle too, which makes your trips economical. Show less
