In the middle of January 22nd, 2024, I purchased a 2023 Heritage Glen LTZ 270FKS 820 From Bish’s RV in meridian Idaho. Right off the bat I found 19 things wrong with the Trailer: These items are: Hole and bubbling above the pantry door Kitchen drawers fell out when pulled (drawers fell because the back studs for the drawer rail brackets are not attached) Side support board for the drawers also not attached panel under the refrigerator was secured leaving a half inch crooked gap Trim around the large bubble window above kitchen sink fell off while towing home five miles away on city streets Main brace underneath bed split and not attached Back plate behind the stove not attached just lying loose All pull down blinds have Velcro tabs on the bottom bar of the blinds but nothing on the walls to attach them too (only half done) Blinds crooked on the two narrow windows in the bedroom Broken latch on refrigerator door Hinges for the storage doors underneath dining table benches loose and floating back and forth Trim around the pantry sagging and loose (no adhesive) lens cover on running lights missing Wires not wrapped or secured on electric jack by hitch Access panel door on bedroom slide out warped Shower door seal fell off when opening door Magnetic plate for bedroom door installed on a diagonal (all others level to the floor) Panel under the sink only attached on one side Keyhole on front door pried and bent (probably not manufacturing) These are the items I found in the first three hours of possession and this morning I took it back to the dealership. I talked to the Director of service, Bish's RV in Meridian Idaho and showed him the issues I had, in which he documented and took possession of for immediate service, and I asked him to go through the whole RV to find the things I didn't find, (which scares me). So, I guess what my questions is where do we go from here, what is going to be done about this situation, I paid close to $50,000.00 for your product and the condition of the RV does not reflect that, (was it built on a Friday?). I sent an email to Bish’s and Forest River with this list of problems on Jan 23rd to Bish’s and Forest River, in which Bish’s took back the trailer and submitted it for warranty work. I’ve nbeen trying to resolve these issues for months now and more things are going wrong: The air conditioner ducting was not connected, and all the cold air was coming out from under the kitchen sink The one and only camping trip we went on the 11nth of April, we had to keep the speed of my towing below 50mph because the back of the trailer swayed wildly, (and it never did that before) This trailer has been in the shop more than out of the shop, and the kicker is Idaho doesn’t have an RV lemon Law. I would really appreciate it if you could Get at least one of these companies, if not both, to make right. Thank

We bought our 271rl brand new back in October. When looked at the RV we loved the floor plan and visually the RV was nice. We have had it 3 months now and already things are starting to break, I am noticing things missing like 5 screws in the restroom skylight, the fire place has already quit working, the hidden pantry door drag’s tremendously making it hard to open, the cold water on the island sink stopped working, the catch/latch on the “hamper” by the bed broke, and the kitchen sink wasn’t sealed correctly and now the counter top is bubbling up. There are also areas where the nail holes were filled with putty but not sanded, and I’m sure the list will get longer as we continue to use it. Very disappointed in this RV. Now we are stuck with it and a loan payment. I wouldn’t recommend this trailer to anyone.

absolutely the worst trailer and experience I have ever had. We purchased this trailer in July of 2022 and the trailer sat on the side of our property up until December of 2022. The unit was then relocated to storage. Upon relocation of the trailer, we noticed that the front of the trailer started to separate from the sides of the trailer. At this point we began to further investigate. We then found multiple leaks in the pop outs and mold growth within the trailer. we had a mold analyst come out and conduct multiple readings and tests on the trailer. The tests came back stating that the trailer was not safe to stay in . We contacted RV country in Reno Nv who was amazing in helping us get things sorted out. The issue is that Forest River then picked up the trailer and supposedly repaired the trailer but took them months to correct the issue. We still have yet to see the trailer back and we are now outside of the one-year warranty. We have lost an entire season to use the trailer with no assistance from the manufacturer. I would never recommend this company to anybody. I am now stuck with a trailer I don't feel comfortable in putting my family in or using. We paid over 60k for this trailer and now it might as well be an oversized paper weight .

Do not purchase from Forest River . They do not respond to you with issues . No communication even though we have sent multiple emails and calls. Our trailer has been in the shop longer than we've owned it brand new Nov. 2022 while still making payments on it. Months of it at their shop. Water leaking in from everywhere, mold exposure with a mold test completed stating it's not safe to be in. Wall was separating on the outside and leaks literally everywhere. The only response by email was they replaced the wall and roof. What about all the mold in the furniture and all over the place. My daughter is highly sensitive to mold exposure and has had non stop ear infections from bacteria in her ear from us using this. Never had an ear infection till we got this. Tubes put in with frequent fevers and congestion. doctor notes stating it's most likely due to the exposure. This has been a nightmare. Stay clear of this company. Still building my case against this manufacturer. This whole experience has ruined ever wanting to own a travel trailer again.

BUYER BEWARE: Our brand new 2022 Forest River Heritage Glen 308RL is the poorest quality of anything I've ever bought. It has had more problems than I could have even imagined. The craftsmanship is a horrible, and for a quality rating, I'm generous giving it a 0 . There's ZERO warranty support, and no way to get in touch with a real person at Forest River. Voicemails are unreturned as I'm sure they're inundated with complaints. Further, in the even of a warranty issue, the manufacturer and dealership simply put the owner in the middle, each side blaming the other, but neither willing to resolve the issue under warranty. It took 9 months to get a replacement part, only to find that it was the wrong part, and after waiting for delivery, we were notified that the warranty expired, and we were no longer covered. Not surprisingly, the $5,000 add-on warranty we purchased from the dealership also did not cover the issue either. Lastly, now that the unit is 2 years old, the value is at 30% of what we paid for it! Basically $50,000 worth of firewood. Of all the mistakes I've made in my life, this was the most financially catastrophic! Keep looking.

Bought this in March of 2022. The awning didn't work (motor had to be replaced), stairs were installed incorrectly (needed to be moved), air conditioner didn't work, awning fabric came loose and had to be replaced, second awning motor didn't work (replaced again), water leaked from the roof and had to be sealed several times, tv not properly connected, outlet went into the wall when we tried to plug in a charger, bottom bunk shade didn't work (replaced) but had to wait a year for the shade cover, outside ladder was installed crooked so you cannot see if you installed a backup camera, the outside fridge door opens if there are items in it (while traveling). Needless to say, it's been in the shop for 8 months out of 12. Emailed Forest River to receive a complacent response. Calls went unanswered, so tried another extension. Finally talked to a nice gentleman. He suggested I work with Longview RV, CT for a remedy. Meanwhile, they gave me another 1-year full warranty. Hope all problems are fixed from this point on.
