Forest River Crusader 5th Wheel reviews

It is a high quality camper. The layout is comfortable and very functional. There is ample storage inside the unit as well as in the pass through compartment underneath. Lighting is good. The bathroom has enough room to be comfortable with a roomy shower that has a nice built in bench. I would definitely purchase this unit again if I could find one. Mine was destroyed in June by a windstorm. The only complaint I had was with the island in the kitchen area. It takes up a little too much room but is not a big issue. I was a happy camper! We purchased our Forest River Crusader in October of 2021, we fell in love with the floor plan, decor and overall esthetics. We then parked the camper at a campground in Florida for 4 months excited to use it. Within 2 months things starting failing. The electric hot water heater didn't work, we had to use gas and the Main awning broke. It has something called a "smart-arm" apparently these "smart-arms" have a tendency to break which makes getting it replaced next to impossible. We have had the camper for 10 months now and STILL have no awning!! With the nearest F.R. dealer over an hour away, we have brought it in twice and STILL have no part, no awning!! Show less
