Excellent like new condition. The new 8 inch memory foam mattress in the master is very comfortable and having the 2 little cubbies next to you makes it easy to charge you phone , keep your glasses or really anything you might need in the middle of the night There is 2 TVs one is a smart Apple TV and the other has an Amazon fire stick to enjoy at night or during bad weather when the weather is miserable The stove and oven work great if you are a baker or just need a meal that is easy to prepare This unit is easy to tow and park. We have a F-150 that we towed it with the 1 month that we used it

Buying this Rv has to be one of the biggest mistakes that I have ever made. Have been on four weekend camping trips and have had four warranty issues. Have had loose wiring that caused the Rv to have no ac power, the solar controller overcharging the battery, the battery disconnect switch randomly cutting out 12 volt power and now the air conditioner is not cooling properly. And don’t even get me started on camping world.

Purchased camper 3 months ago. Got it home found are under bathroom full of water. Cut a hole in underbelly drained water, awning would not close properly, cup washer did not work, found 2 holes in roof, slide cables were sagging dealer said it was normal.. Dealer did pick up and repaired most but slide cables still sagging . We leased a camp spot at a campground parked camper for the season. Extended slide and slide cable mount bracket ripped off the slide the screws holding the plate were cut in half so they would fit and caulked. This is factory work🤬🤬 unbelievable… piece of junk once this thing is fixed we are getting rid of it and will never own another forest river product.. the warranty people are a joke and the dealer is also a joke Get a 3 rd party inspector to look over the camper before you buy it

Wolf Pup Black Label edition16FQBL: We LOVE it! Compared to the standard Forest River production units, the "Black Label" edition models really ARE a huge step above in quality, design and features. Easily worth another $3,000 over the standard models. How did we learn this? When my wife and I started looking, two of our couples friends had the standard Wolf Pup models, one was the 'Full Queen' 16FQ and one was the BH 'bunkhouse' layout. We absolutely loved the layout of the 16FQ but its owners were having problems with warranty repairs, and to our eyes things looked and felt cheap. We went looking for a better option with a similar layout to the 16FQ but didn't find anything with as large a bathroom/shower, as big a refrigerator or as much storage space in a small trailer. We'd told several sales people we weren't interested in Forest River 'quality' but one of them said 'have you seen a Black Label? She showed us a used one and we bought it on the spot. Two years later we absolutely LOVE it and our friends are so jealous. We found and fixed a few simple things and struggled with the infamous "Cherokee Sleep System" bed problem (eventually fixed it with five feet of 1x2 strips to raise the lower end, placing them as 'shims' under the attachment brackets) and now we love that too! If you've seen or owned one of the standard production Cherokee Wolf trailers, you won't want to skip over the entire brand till you've seen their Black Label models. Very good construction, excellent liveability and just darn beautiful!

Stay away from Forest River Travel Trailers. Their customer service is awful. My brand new 2024 Forest River Cherokee Timberwolf 16ML, which is permanently parked, was delivered with the gray water (and black water) pipe broken and they won’t send someone out to fix it and they won’t pay the full bill to fix it. Here is my experience. 1. My brand new Forest River trailer was delivered with a broken dishwasher and broken gray water pipe which means the black water pipe is also broken because the gray water drains out the black water outlet; so, because the gray water pipe isn’t connected, there is a huge hole in the black water pipe. 2. The dealership gave me 3 numbers to call to get help because the trailer is under warranty because it is brand new, and I’m too far away from the dealership for them to fix it. I called each number several times but only 1 number answered and there were no voicemails to leave messages at the 2 that didn’t answer. The people that did answer the phone told me they couldn’t help and gave me a new number & email. (So this is contact #4 at this point.) 3. I emailed and called the new contact. The person who emailed me back told me they couldn’t help me (in all caps like a lunatic) and gave a different email (contact #5) which was supposed to be directly to the warranty people. 4. I sent 2 emails to the warranty email address & waited. & no one ever responded. 5. I looked on the Forest River website for a contact and it said call the dealership. 6. I called the dealership again. They gave me a 6th contact’s phone number and email. I sent an email (with pictures of the broken pipe) to explain the situation. Note: I also called but I dialed incorrectly and left a voicemail on a complete stranger’s phone. Whoops! But that nice stranger actual texted me the correct phone number 10 minutes later. I got better service from that stranger than anyone at Forest River. Sad. 7. Apparently, my email got forwarded around and after almost a week of waiting, a Forest River representative told me they can’t send a tech out and gave me a list of mechanics who “might” help. And the representative told me to review the warranty; so, I don’t violate some condition and can’t get reimbursed. 8. I reviewed the warranty & learned that the warranty won’t cover the full cost of the repair for a problem that existed when the brand new trailer was delivered to me. (Have I mentioned the trailer is new and has never been used? 😂) 9. I looked at the list of mechanics. The closest one is 60 miles away but most are 100+ miles away. No mechanic is going to travel 120 miles round trip to fix a pipe on a trailer. Recall: The trailer is permanently parked and the Forest River rep was told this repeatedly. 9. I reached back out to the Forest River rep and (and I was pretty irate at this point - so I wasn’t super nice - cuz I’m only human) explained I need a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that was delivered to me broken. I explained no mechanic is going to travel 120 -200 miles (round trip) to fix the pipe on the brand new trailer. I also pointed out that it is ridiculous that Forest River will not pay for the entire repair cost. I asked for a real solution that will actually fix the brand new Forest River trailer that has never been used and can’t be used because it was delivered broken. Note: I’m not off the grid. I’m on the CA coast. 10. I got no response. None. 11. So I now have had a brand new Forest River trailer for almost 2 months that I cannot use and that has never been used because it was delivered to me broken & I am, of course, still paying for it. Do not buy from Forest River. They do not stand by their products or provide any customer service that will actually fix problems & their warranty is useless. You are throwing money away if you buy from Forest River.

The insulation in walls is also insufficient in part of the wall…. The 1 year warranty is a joke…. Since the vast majority of people will not use their trailer in cold weather. It only gives you 5 months at best.

This bunkhouse model is surprisingly livable for my wife, myself, and our dog. He has mad himself at home in the lower bunk. But the fit and finish of this unit leave a lot to be desired. Their audio system is supposed to be able to differentiate inside versus outside, but that does not work. The mattress quit after a week, and being a non-standard size, was difficult to replace (short-king 65”x72”). The drawers in the kitchen have pulled from their slides. Their Summit TV is not a smart TV, and is incompatible with some streaming applications if you happen to use an iPhone. You have to be certain to use a regulator with enough volume, or your showers with the tankless water heater will go cold often! And we’ve had intermittent alarm codes given from the water heater from shortly sherry seeing it up. Sooner of this may be due to it being new, but that seems odd. The deadbolt on the entry door is broken and needs replaced. And then there was manufacturing debris all over the unit. Metal shavings, saw dust, staples, and even the material from a hole saw. None of which were caught by the manufacturer or Camping World. Outside of these stresses, it has been a positive experience. I just don’t think I’ll go with Forest River going forward.

This was our first RV. Purchased it for my travel nurse daughter to use while working so she didn't have to pack & unpack in apartments every contract. We had the Wolf Pup 17JG for 3 months & my daughter wanted some heat strips added to the AC unit for just chilly days that didn't need the furnace. Her husband brought it back from her Georgia contract, the schwintek slide had only 7 out/in cycles on it since we bought it. Took it into the dealer, slide worked fine when we retracted & brought it home. They added the strips & after we got it home we tried to open the slide to check their work. The slide wouldn't budge. It was stripped out. Techs said we must have damaged it on the way home from their shop. Yeah right. Couldn't prove it however so we told them to fix it under warranty. They told us that there was a parts shortage due to Covid. Six month's later we have to basically go into the showroom at stage a sit in before they miraculously found parts & fixed it! The slide hadn't been installed straight from the factory & they had to pull it completely out & reinstall it straight with the new slide hardware to get it fixed. We then took it home AGAIN, put the slide out & the first thing we saw was they hadn't installed the weather seal over top of the slide! You could put your hand outside over top the slide! *sigh* Horrible build quality from the Forest River factory, the dealer service under warranty was almost non-existent, just a horrid experience all round. Once they get you signed on the contract they don't want to hear from you ever again!

Going back in the shop tomorrow. We are fortunate to have bought the extended warranty, something I rarely do. I would NOT recommend this unit and do regret buying it because of the issues. Seriously thinking about selling it when it comes out of the shop after only owning a year (purchased new).
