We purchased our Cedar Creek in 2018 and lived in it full time for a year and a half in 2019-2020 in western South Dakota, a portion of that time being the third coldest winter in South Dakota's recorded history! While other full-time RVers were dealing with frozen pipes, our unit handled the below zero temps successfully, thanks to the tank heaters, custom skirting, and other typical winterizing measures taken. We have two house dogs, one an 85 lb. black lab, and we didn't have any space issues having them in the RV. I worked remotely, so we replaced the tri-fold couch in the 2nd bedroom with a sit-stand desk for my computer workstation. I also used the 2nd bedroom/office as my vanity, clothes closet and dresser, and coffee nook. We also wintered in it for 6 months in Arizona, November through April, and the two A/C units kept up with the 80+ degree days. We were very comfortable. The electric fireplace in the living room helped warm the RV when nights were cool. The only reason we are selling is because we downsized to a Class C so we can make shorter trips and I am able to help drive. Although we like our new Class C, it does not carry the quality of workmanship, cabinetry, and furniture as our Forest River, so we will miss that.

I purchased a 2021 silver back 5th wheel ( cedar creek ) and it is so cheaply made it's sad. The awning is bent, there was a nail sticking out from under the bed and ripped the flooring, the pantry shelves are so thin you can't put anything of weight on them because they will fall through, the mattress is GARBAGE on the couch literally just wrapped in cloth no padding, the mid bunk the couch isn't even sleep able. The air doesn't cool and it has 2 air conditioners. We had to put tinfoil do divert the air flow. The speaker is crooked, wall paper ripped. I could go on but there are so many other things. Please beware of this company, pull out the beds lay on them, look at the cabinets ect. I had a Forest River for 20 years and it was a tank LOVED it boy has the quality gone down so sad.

Love the layout. So far the worst thing is the air conditioning. First off, it was only whisper quiet when it was demonstrated hooked up to 30amp. Once hooked up as it should be to 50 amp it is very loud with meager cooling ability. The extra room does not cool properly at all and overall cooling is never cool enough.every room needs a ceiling fan. All that talk about good insulation leaves me confused as to why the rooms are so warm! The vent placements leave something to be desired! There should have been an extra drop down extension to the island since there is no real counter space. The storage space above the sofa is so high i can't use it freely and i am 5ft 9. The blind behind the livingroom couch is difficult to raise because it is dead on the couch in placement.there was room to add more storage to main bedroom. An outlet in the dinette area would have been nice. Love the pantry. Beautiful toilet. Great idea to put seat in shower. Some finishings in the wood need touchup. The bed sleeps very well. No mattress on the letout sofa in living room just springs which i found odd. For the cost they could of added the mattress with air adjustment. great under sink storage. usb charger in extra room should be next to ends of sofa as well with a little dropdown table on each end. Great storage in extra room. Love the outside storage!!! If you purchase this do so from a dealer who is able to let you order it as you wish. Our dealer seemed unaccustomed to that idea and even though we were told our loan included the cost of washer and dryer it was not put in!

This model is one of my favorites! We go to the RV shows and dealers to scout out the 5th wheels for when we retire. The floor plan on this Cedar Creek was well thought out and allows for plenty of room to feel comfortable! The kitchen area is spacious and the island makes cooking a breeze! There is a good sized couch and recliners in the comfy living room. The master has plenty of storage space. There is a room off the entry that can serve as a guest bedroom. The loft area can be used for sleeping or storage. Good sized bathroom.Overall a great RV!
