This has been a nightmare since day one. Everything is cheaply made, no storage inside the rv, the bunk house has no ac and yet the vent from the water heater goes directly into the bunk house making it unuseable as a bunk house. . The front a/c is not powerful enough to cool the rv in the summer months. Holes for the electrical wires and plumbing are so big that rats find it extremely easy to get into the rv and wreck havoc with the wiring, paper thin walls. The shower walls are not sealed at the bottom so water seeps down. Be sure you get an independent inspection of the rv prior to signing a contract. Dealership discourage this as if there is anything wrong they are responsible to fix it if you wait warranty might fix it but it is a long wait and you will be responsible for paying what warranty doesn’t cover.

The floor plan is excellent for families; that is the best I can say about it. If you plan on using the 5th wheel anytime the temperature outside is near or above 80 degrees, you do not want this trailer. It will not be cool, the further into the RV you go, the worse it gets. The AC is designed to deliver air 20 degrees below ambient, which means you have a trailer that will be warm when you factor in heat gain. The trailer is a 2 season trailer as long as you live in the northern tier of the United States or like it warm and do not have dogs. Factory support is nonexistent; too bad; the basic response is so sad. Steer clear and buy something else. The photo I would like to share is our unit in the Black Hills of SD. You'll notice it is in the shade; the ambient temperature was 80 degrees that day, best we could bet inside was 75.

Let’s go to the trim of the unit. The lack of quality is unreal. Trim just keeps falling off
Don’t get me wrong. The dam thing is beautiful and comfortable. Just be sure to only use in the summer. Early fall and late spring. They really need to take out the “arctic” out of its name

We bought our 3550 new in March 2021. Had multiple warranty repairs logged and ordered before we even left the lot (non functioning recliner, warped cabinet doors, damaged closet doors, back up camera non operational, ect). Towed it 90 miles to to our house. A few months later sold our house and towed it 30 miles to our RV park. The air conditioner is horrible, we have molding falling off everywhere, slide leaks, refrigerator stopped working, water pump went out, water heater started leaking, living room floor bounces/flexes and list goes on. The parts we're ordered in March 2021 (purchase time), it's now Jan 2022 and the repairs have still not been done. We definitely have buyers remorse and know we're stuck with this POS.

Our air conditioner does not keep up during the day. Can be as hit as 85 degrees inside the camper when a/c has been running on full fan mode. Absolutely no air flow to the bunk house. We have tried opening the a/c main vents and have then have tried to close the vents so that air will flow through the vents. The airflow is terrible through the vents and nothing in the bunks house still. Has others experienced the sane issues? Called the dealer and there solution was to open bathroom vent fans to suck out the hot air. Considering the price of the camper, we are far from happy campers!

Stay Away!!!!!!!!!!!!! Total bottom of the line unit. Real nice to look at but be aware. Got to the dealer as we were ready to do our walkthrough he was soaking the door hinges with wd40. now after our first trip hinges seized up and the door pulled away from the jamb. air condition will NOT cool the unit down if it is over 75 outside. Their answer was that's why we prep for a second unit in the bedroom.( what a joke theirs 2 grand) Our first week trip was miserable because the unit never got below 87 inside. We had to go purchase a portable air condition and had to have the vent duct taped to the window to vent it. What an embarrasment. now the water heater wont work on electric, front lettering peeling off, floors squeek and move so bad its embarrassing to have guests, compartment door hitting frame, tv brackets are useless you will have to purchase new ones and this is the first camper i have ever owened that did not have window tint which really helps with the cooling. The list goes on. They make them look attractive but they are put together like a piece of junk. Im afraid of what this unit will look like after 3 years. I think it will be ready for the junk yard. Ive owned several units prior to this and NEVER had on put together like this. Do yourself a favor and spend more and get a another brand. Forest River is a good brand its just their Cherokee line is bottom of the barrel.

Beware: purchased what we were led to believe was a factory new Cherokee arctic wolf 3550 suite 5th wheel. Upon pulling the unit into our driveway we noticed a bulge on the side. We called the dealer/service dept. they investigated and found that we had a delamination issue and were told it had been previously repaired. The service dept. sent pictures and the information to us and forest river. We called forest river only to be told they didn’t have any paperwork showing any repairers .we have asked forest river to do what is right and give us a new 5th wheel that we paid for and to take the repaired unit back ( they refused). The only thing they have offered is another repair and will offer no extra warranty on the work. We feel we have been deceived and lied to. Don’t trust Forest River.
