Forest River Blue Ridge Cabin Edition 5th Wheel reviews

The floorplan is perfect, and the camper has plenty of room. However, for the cost, the product is made with poor quality material. Our camper is a 2018 and was not used very often until last year. The up/down (not rollout) windows came apart last year, they aren't covered by the extended warranty or the manufacturer. The skylight above the bathtub is cracked and water is leaking in, not covered because it's caused by the sun. How is it possible that a sky light isn't made well enough to standup to the weather. Warranties with Forest River are above and beyond. Our roof was leaking and caused patricidal delamination which Forest River replaced the roof and put all new side walls on. We didn't pay a penny. So our RV is a 2020 on a 2016 frame. I won't buy any other product than a Forest River Product. The 13 foot garage makes use for an office, pantry, extra closet and chest freezer when staying a place for up to a year. Theater seating with fire place and entertainment center making movie watching enjoyable. The loft above make for extra storage when you don't have the grandchildren with. Show less

We had a wonderful experience our fifth wheel. Floor plan works well, with kitchen in the back. No problems with towing and not to long. We did change the bathroom door moving the hinges to the opposite side. Bathroom has a big walk in shower and a walk in closet. Show less

We bought this fifth wheel new in 2016 and have lived in it in Colorado, Texas and Arizona. It has been so comfortable for the 2 of us in all kinds of weather. We have had very little problems with it in the 5 years we have owned it. Living almost full-time in it we have only had to replace a faulty propane alarm and a toilet (our fault)all under warranty. With a lot of grandchildren and ranch worker traffic, the floors still look brand new and carpets too. We pulled it to Yellowstone and every trip it has pulled like a dream. Show less

We thought we trade our 2016 travel trailer on this Vengeance Touring Edition “2019 RV Business Camper of the Year”!!! B***S***! There is so many issues with this camper! First, it is very poor quality! The shower floor felt like we were going to fall through the floor! I’m 190lbs and the heaviest in my family! I braced the shower floor which you would think that would have been done by the factory!! The ceiling in the bathroom is 8’ tall and has an exhaust fan that does not have a switch! Had to buy a step stool to turn on the fan and open the hood! The TV’s - The tv’s in the master bedroom, garage/bedroom and outside could not auto scan. So I call Economy RV’s in Maryland where we bought it, and the service manager said there is a splitter at the bath exhaust fan but you have to pull down the shroud/return of the fan. It was in the shower skylight shroud! All fittings were tight! Went outside to the cable hook-up and unscrewed the panel and found the satellite cable was hooked up to the cable outlet and the cable wire was hooked up to the satellite outlet. Changed those cables and did “auto-scan” and now my grandkids can watch TV!!! Next task..... two of the cabinet doors screws were falling out! Got a screwdriver just to find out that the screws are stripped! Next task... hooked up the waste to the camper opened the grey tank and found that the “black tank” and “grey tank” stickers were reversed! Fix that! Next task.... sink in bathroom was leaking! No a big fix but this should have been caught by the dealer! Would I ever buy a Forest River RV again??????? Noooooooooo Waaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!! Oh, when I called Forest River Tech support/warranty service, they told me “they depend on they’re dealers to catch things like this!!!! NO QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!!!! Stay away from these RV’s!!! We bought our Blue Ridge used and we fell in love with it instantly. We recently purchased a new 5th wheel but it was not a Blue Ridge. BIG MISTAKE We just needed to update the old one. We have only had the new one for a couple of months and regretted it. We really miss our Blue Ridge and we hope we can replace it with a new one. Show less

The side deck was very enjoyable when raining. we were off the wet ground under the awning watching a movie. after removing my razor form the garage my wife uses it for her office to work from. the solar panels keep the four batteries charged all the time and great for boondocking. Show less

Love the floor plan, hate all the problems. In the first year replaced kitchen faucet spray head and circuit breaker. Black water and gray water handle/cable system has been in repair shop every year after about third time camping. Fresh water is getting into potable water tank even though we have it on city water. Frustrating to have so many problems with such a costly camper Show less

Bought new dealer got wrong camper in tried to give it to me ordered new one in right had problems from day one air conditioner leaking in vents self levers not working cabinets not closing correctly air conditioners short cycles slide outs need adjusted wouldn't go in and out with out skipping and jumping things missing from shipping had to dealer 5 times still not fixed going their again and on top of all that sloppy workmanship glue and caulk all over the place doors and cabinets needed adjusted what a pile of crap Show less

My buddy and I both bought the blue ridge 3780lf and have had issues from the first camping trip. Water leaking from a.c. into room. Ladder inside and the roof ladder both broke. Hydrolics don't work most times.bed has sagged from no support from the first trip. Had to have pantry door replace because the drawers inside wouldn't lock and chipped the door up bad. Water leaked into camper when tried to flush tanks out. And both a.c. are short cycling .Slide out seals are ripping and warranty is a joke to get repaired timely had to wait 4 months with no camper and still didn't fix everything . never will I buy from them again !
