Forest River 30QBSS reviews

We bought a 2018 Forest River Salem 30QBSS this last summer we noticed the ski on the slide out was coming off because water was getting in behind the medal that was attached to it. After going through my insurance to get it fixed it was deemed to be poor craftsmanship/factory default and after numerous attempts to contact forest river via phone and email they have not responded! This is a industry wide thing from what I have seen!! This will cost me over 7k to fix! This is not something I could have prevented as it was an issue that I couldn’t see coming!!! I’m extremely unhappy with Salem right now! Maybe posting here will get them to respond to me! Show less

We loved the floor plan. Worked well for our family, however, we have had nothing but trouble with it since pulling it off the lot! The quality is very poor. Three months after purchase, awning lights had to be replaced, had multiple water leaks because of the shoddy plumbing work. Second time sent in for repairs because the microwave was coming out: cause - loose screws, electircl plug plates were coming off too. Main issue we still have is electrical that causes problems with the ac as well as shorting out fuses. Wouldn't recommend this camper to anyone! Terrible purchase. Show less

Many upgrades that makes the interior livable. Ample storage space for everything needed. Spacious and comfortable for our family of 7. Would have loved to have a back window in the bunk room and an outdoor faucet for kids to clean off their feet. Show less
