There was problems right from the start the fridge was not installed properly Took the trailerback to the dealer and had repaired same day Next the door to bedroom fell off called to have repairs don and were told we would have to leave trailer for 2 weeks I reaired the door myself not easy for an old guy with poor eye sight next the door to bathroom fell off while we on vaction the bedroom edoor fell off again this tim the front roller broke the inside molding are coming off now in season 2 The water pump check valve is allowing water to get into fresh water tank while we are hooked up to site water supply. Again any repairs that are necessary will take us off the road for at least 2 weeks of which we are booked at different canp sites Show less

The 2509S has many features packed in a smaller package. The Queen Murphy bed makes it easy to use the available space for either sitting or sleeping. The bunks provide sleeping space for 4 since they are double bunks, and the kitchen table folds down to a bed as well. There is plenty of space for 2 adults and 6 kids, or 8 adults who can cozy up. Or you can sleep 5 adults very comfortably. The towing is smooth with dual axles and electric brakes. The heavy trailer doesn't feel that way behind the tow vehicle with a proper equalizer hitch. With the off-grid options, this trailer can stay out for a week easily. The solar quickly charges the batteries, and the batteries have enough power to keep things running at night. With the max air fans, the need for AC is almost non-existent, especially at night. Show less

Owned this Travel tr for two years now, one small issue with spare tire ( goodyear replaced under warranty @ no cost) . Owned three T/Ts in 16 years . Rockwood well above others for build quality. Upgrading to larger model due to retirement. Will only shop for rockwood. Although they are under the Forrest River brand. Rockwood/flagstaff was original company purchased by Warren Buffet many years ago. All other F/R products are built elsewhere in the country, but rockwood trailers are still made in original factory. The 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S has been an excellent RV value. The rear-bathroom and front-bedroom floor plan makes for the perfect couples trailer. Two slide-outs: bedroom closet and entertainment center dual recliners. Super comfortable queen-sized bed. It travels well over the road—and because it’s so light (5,492 lbs. dry weight)—you can take it on long road trips without staggering fuel bills. Some people have commented about quality . of various features are built and outfitted on Forest River RVs, and I do understand that point of view. However, my experience with my 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S has not been degraded by low-quality components, design, or workmanship. This RV is well-made and built for affordability. If you’re in the market for a fun, comfortable RV in the $30K to $40K price range, I recommend you look at the 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite 2511S travel trailer. Show less

This floor plan is crazy spacious for such a small travel trailer. When you put the bed it, you have so much space to visit and walk around. At night, when you do not plan on having any more visitors, you put your bed down and you can tuck away for the night. Even with such a small travel trailer, you still get an acceptable passthrough storage, a tall outdoor storage, and an outdoor storage under the dinette. You have plenty of counter space, especially with the fold up extension. This is a quality build and built before COVID. The light hitch weight and overall weight make it a great little travel trailer to tow with a large SUV or 1/2 ton pick up. If you need more storage, put a rack on the back, and you are good to go. This trailer has everything needed in a smaller, trailer. A 60" x 74" murphy bed doubles as a 74" sofa during the day to accommodate more seating. This unit is equipped with a huge 44" X 85" U shaped dinette for entertaining. You can sleep 4 in this 22'4" trailer while seating 5/6 guests during the day. Also in this trailer is a full bathroom, wardrobe closet, full kitchen with a 12v fridge, and plenty of storage. Show less

This model is a great couples camper and tows great. We love boondocking and traveling the country with this RV. It has a 2 inch lift kit from the factory that provides additional ground clearance. The air conditioning is ducted throughout and provides excellent and comfortable cooling. Show less

“Lemon”, I had several problems with my 2022 Rockwood Mini Lite 2509S within four months of ownership. The rv dealership I had made my purchase sold to another company. It was and still is extremely difficult to get Forest River Customer Service’s help to get anything repaired and or replaced. The reason behind all of the numerous problems I have with my Rockwood mini lite I was told is because of the Covid and the dealership didn’t do their duty of inspections neither because of the Covid. No one wants to admit the truth for the shoddy workmanship of installation, and using cheap low quality materials that continually fall apart. I have screws back out, the metal that was used is all rusting. I have malfunctioning electrical connections and outlets. I have a malfunctioning power awning, gaping and sagging slide out, faulty water system, and the list goes on and on. My 2022 Rockwood mini lite is a safety and health hazard and I can’t use it in this condition neither sell it in this conditions . I was told the repairs for the labor and replacement of many parts is going to cost in the thousands of dollars. Please spread the word and don’t make my mistake by purchasing a rv by Forest River-Rockwood. Show less

Garbage construction under the surface. Had to rewire and secure fridge. Privacy doors fell off tracks and tracks are not accessible without ripping out trim. Drawers are supported with wood glued to underside of countertop and they fall off on any rough roads, I now have to re-engineer drawer support in kitchen. Show less
