This camper is a complete nightmare. We purchased it brand new in 2022 and were blinded by how "beautiful" it was. We were naive new camper owners who did not know what to look for. Every time we go camping, something breaks or falls apart. Tons of trouble with electrical components in the camper, none of the USB ports work on the inside, and some of the outlets do not work. The buttons for the electric jacks have broken 3 times in the 3 years we've had the camper. The awning is coming unattached on one side. The shower has leaked out the corner of the floor since the first time we used it. The biggest issue that we have run into is that the storage compartment door on the underbelly storage was installed incorrectly from the manufacturer (according to a service tech who looked at it) which caused a leak. The leak has now caused floor rot. We got a quote to fix this and it was quoted to us at $8000. This is INSANE! When I reached out to Forest River about getting this replaced as it was due to faulty install/manufacturing, they stated that because the warranty was over there was nothing they can do. They do NOT back their brand and they do NOT care about customer service. Run far, far away before ever purchasing a Forest River. Show less

Love our 2022 Super lite 29RLBS RV. We purchased new . Only problem was a loose water line under kitchen sink that just needed tightened. Once the living slide was stuck. We manually opened ot then has worked with no problem extending or retracting. . Definitely recommend Flagstaff Show less

A very comfortable and well laid out travel trailer that is easily towable with a Toyota Tacoma. Plenty of bed space, large bathroom and spacious kitchen area along with an outdoor kitchen and shower area make it the perfect camper for both short and long trips. I had a blast with this trailer. It is built for off pavement exploring and I have had no issues with it managing forest roads or washouts. Show less

Big living area as well as kitchen and sitting room. Nice large flat screen TV with Winegard tv/Internet dish roof mounted antenna. Lots of storage throughout the unit. Nice comfortable queen bed. Electric stabilizer jacks and a roof mounted solar panel. Show less

Buying a Forest River product was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made. We've had constant issues—starting with the slide-out, which has never worked right, trim falling apart, water leaks, and more. Reaching out to Forest River is useless—they don’t return calls, emails, or show any concern for their customers. When we took our unit in the first time, the tech told us the slide-out hole was cut wrong from the factory. Not long after, that guy was mysteriously gone—seems like he was let go for telling us the truth. Dealers are clearly forced to downplay the problems and claim it’s just an 'adjustment'—but it's a manufacturing defect, plain and simple. Total disappointment. Show less

Wolf Pup Black Label edition16FQBL: We LOVE it! Compared to the standard Forest River production units, the "Black Label" edition models really ARE a huge step above in quality, design and features. Easily worth another $3,000 over the standard models. How did we learn this? When my wife and I started looking, two of our couples friends had the standard Wolf Pup models, one was the 'Full Queen' 16FQ and one was the BH 'bunkhouse' layout. We absolutely loved the layout of the 16FQ but its owners were having problems with warranty repairs, and to our eyes things looked and felt cheap. We went looking for a better option with a similar layout to the 16FQ but didn't find anything with as large a bathroom/shower, as big a refrigerator or as much storage space in a small trailer. We'd told several sales people we weren't interested in Forest River 'quality' but one of them said 'have you seen a Black Label? She showed us a used one and we bought it on the spot. Two years later we absolutely LOVE it and our friends are so jealous. We found and fixed a few simple things and struggled with the infamous "Cherokee Sleep System" bed problem (eventually fixed it with five feet of 1x2 strips to raise the lower end, placing them as 'shims' under the attachment brackets) and now we love that too! If you've seen or owned one of the standard production Cherokee Wolf trailers, you won't want to skip over the entire brand till you've seen their Black Label models. My husband and I are completely satisfied with this travel trailer! We love the layout! We have not had any trouble with it. It tracks great. The quality is perfect and exactly what we expected. The fireplace is great, as it heats the whole room. It’s our home away from home. Show less

Poor materials and quality. Outrageous prices for terrible workmanship and nothing but problems from the second you drive off the lot. Horrendous, unresponsive customer service, zero accountability and zero reimbursement for major defects. Screw customer over with faulty products. RV sits at the repair shop the entire first year under manufactured warranty, with all sorts of problems that they don't bothering fixing. They don't pay repair shops enough money to do their recalls either, customer has to come out of pocket on those too. Nothing but a money pit. RV dealers only want to sell and promise to do warranty work, use it as a selling point, but when you try bringing in your broken RV they turn you down claiming FR doesn't pay them enough to cover their work $/hour. We love this trailer. The interior height was a huge draw for us since we're a tall family, tallest being 6'4" with no issues walking around inside. We were most interested in boondocking and the set up was perfect for this. The dual access and higher clearance was a huge draw for overall stability for off road sites and longer road trips. The solar panel and huge clean, grey and black tanks allowed us to stay out longer without having to dumpf. The residential queen bed allowed us to put a real queen mattress on the bed to maximize our comfort. The bunks have been great for our kids. This trailer has so much storage space inside, we never maxed it out. Ample space for food, clothes, toys and linens. The kitchen is small but anything bigger would have taken away from living space and added more weight to the trailer. We love this trailer. It does not disappoint. And having issues with warranty and Forest River or dealerships is common among all trailers. When we purchased, we did a full inspection with an independent inspector. They found a major defect in the slide out window. The dealership fixed it before we took ownership. But we know trailers are not built like cars as someone else mentioned. The quality isn't excellent in order to keep the weight of the trailer low. But the interior aesthetic was pleasing to us and any flaws are minor. Any work we've had done in the 3 years we've owned the trailer has been done by us or an independent contractor as we don't want to wait for warranty and dealership wait times. That said, we haven't had any warranty failures on our trailer. This is a great trailer that allows us access to the outdoors while also providing us the comforts of home. Great for full hook ups or dispersed camping. You can have it all in this trailer. Show less

We bought this TT brand new and Thank God my husband is very handy and has fixed many problems. Problems with plumbing , since the beginning when we bought it, it was in August of 2020 and we could not bring it in to get fixed due to covid, water leaking from the bottom of the shower, plumbing was done wrong and water would leak everywhere. Sofa and one reclining chair had to be fixed, problem with the slide outs rubber seals, he also fixed all of it. The latest, the roof was cracking everywhere , took it to Camping world and they sent pictures to Forest River to do a good will repair, and was told no they would not do it. Finally we had it fixed and it seems they painted the roof membrane to match the trailer, we found the difference in the color on the parts that where under the seals, and must have used the wrong paint and the roof felt like a cracker when is was taken off. It was completely dried out. This is not our first RV and we know how to take care of it, have always used the products recommended by the manufacturer to clean it. But of course Forest River did not want to take responsibility for a job so badly done. We will never buy another product from this company. Show less
