I purchased this RV in 2020 used. It had some minor issues that I addressed immediately when I purchased it. There were some of the issues that I have read from other reviews like a shower that leaked. Simple 10 minute fix and has never leaked again. Some pealing of vinyl in closet. Another 5 minute fix and perfect since then. Yes there was some trim that was loose but a small brad gun and 30 minutes and I secured everything and perfect since then. I understand all RV's have challenges but this floor plan fit our lives perfectly and a little owner maintenance and its an AWESOME unit. I never did deal with the factory or warranty so I cant speak to that but overall this has been an outstanding unit for me and my family. My one complaint is the outdoor kitchen is a great idea but I removed the stand for the outdoor grill and mounted a bumper stand for my generator. The kitchen is a good idea but not practical.

Trim falling off, glass light covers shattering, rust everywhere, hole in awning, hole in mattress, leaking shower, slide cables frayed, slide not level, peeling trim paper, hole in gas line causing a major leak, gas line not working after repaired. I can go on and on. Poor quality craftsmanship and a manufacturer who doesn’t care what they produce. Will never buy a Forest River brand ever again or recommend one.

DO NOT BUY A FOREST RIVER PRODUCT! They do not stand behind their product. Our trailer has been falling apart since day one. The slide keeps spitting out parts. A bolt just fell out, and it quit working (Stuck out). The fan cover fell apart (with a max-air covering it). And many more things just loosening, falling off, and Rust, all over the place. And we just discovered that the rubber roof is splitting, and they refuse to help us. We take very good care of this trailer. It is always covered when not in use. Please do not buy their products. They are built so cheap!!!! They do not care about their customers! Our trailer is not quite 2 years old and it is literally falling apart.

I bought the vibe new from the dealership. When I first used the unit, it had water leaks, I called the dealership and they basically told me it was my problem. It wasn't my problem when they taken my $27,000. I've carried it to be worked on 5 time's. The a.c. constantly drips water on the floor, they couldn't find anything wrong with it even after showing them a video of what it was doing. The floor seems soft in places, the technician said that I need a new floor but the dealership said that it was fine. They had to replace a peice of paneling and it's a different color than the rest of the camper. It took 6 weeks just to mix match colors. The toilet leaks around the bottom of it and the dealership found no problem. When emptying the tanks the smell inside is terrible. This is just some of the problems I've had. I spent over $27,000 on the trailer I think we should all get together and file a suit against Forest River. I am going to look into it because I feel like I got nothing for my money.

I liked the layout except always hit my head on the top of the slide out. I had to repair 3 water lines the first night I stayed in the RV. Under the bathroom sink was the hardest to get to the pipes. Water all over the floor. Took 3 days to get all dry with heaters. Under all unseen areas including the couches trash from all the holes they drilled. Also the TV antenna did not work. Had to run a new one on the top if the AC. I ran water in the all the drains found 2 were dripping under the Shower and in the back under the sink where there was lots of wires. The drawers in the kitchen were mot connected to the back of the slides causing them to break the screws when one of the slides locked up and broke the front of the slide right off the wood at the front. The couches wear down like paper after a year. All of the trim on the slideouts had 4 nails which were barely able to hold up and fell off when the heat got into the RV while we were gone. Definitely the poorest quality control. I was a QC engineer for a large electronic company in Florida. If I missed just one of the problems I saw I would have had to be retrained. Definitely a LEMON.

2018 Forest River Vibe First thing I noted after moving the RV many trim pieces fell off. Most of the trim boards had 3 nails on the slides and the nails used were just a hair in the wood. I had 4 trim pieces fall off just towing the RV to my home. Small long ceiling trim boards and the down trim boards all had 3 tiny nails barely in the wall all around the the whole RV. The slide outs are very to hit your head on when trying to sit on couch an dgetting in Dinette. Floor trim are buckling from the lack of nails. The light above the stove barely gives light to cook. The entrance door needs a lock to keep it from slamming from the wind. The mini blinds needs support inside the top where the 2 screws are due to collapsing from the screws being too tight. The blinds are so tight at the wall that they bend out of shape easily causing the blinds to bend out of shape. Most of the problems are from QC factory problems and not having nails specifically for the trims at a specific depth to stay in place.

Save your money and go with another manufacturer. These are poorly made and customer service is garbage. We bought a brand new 2018 trailer and within 3 months of owning it there were over 10 things broken on it that were of no fault of ours and just poor quality workmanship and quality control. Issues including: leaking windows that lead to mold in almost every window, leaking toilet, broken light switch, non working heater in bedroom from day 1, panels falling off walls, vent fan/light above stove not working, broken lock on exterior storage, etc. I first contacted Forest River 11/30 and did not receive a response until 12/5/18 saying it was being worked on and then was finally informed after several calls on 12/12/18 that the parts needed were sent and the RV repair man would contact me to set up repairs. Repairman did not receive parts until 12/26/18. Forest River refused to pay the $140 service call fee and left their responsibility on us. We not only have a one year manufacturer warranty but also the extended warranty but Forest River still refuses to eat this cost that was due to their poor product but they are “sorry I feel this way” which totally makes it all better right?! Absolutely dissatisfied with the product and customer service. Will never buy another product from Forest River and will make sure everyone I know steers clear as well.

We are very disappointed in it. I will not tell any of our friends to purchase one. We should have kept our last unit which was a 2010 Keystone Cougar. That was the worse thing we ever did was get rid of it.
